Starbucks

I go to this Starbucks at least 2 times a week and the line inside and out takes forever but then Starbucks came out with ordering through the app and OMG it is so convenient!!! My usual orders are Trenta Shaken Tea, Trenta Chai Tea Iced and Venti (They don’t sell it in Trenta, sadly) London Fog Iced!

This is one of the worst coffee shop experiences I’ve had. The coffee I ordered was not what I ordered, the barista was annoyed by me (not sure why– I am pretty simple), and the whole place was really hot.
I have given this location multiple chances and every time is just as bad as before. The people who work there seem over worked (or just hate their job) and are honestly rude every time I go to the register. I feel bad writing such a negative review, but I don’t recommend going to this Starbucks. Ever.

Pretty avid Starbucks goer — by far the worst Starbucks I have been to. Stood at register for a solid 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. Then took another 10 minutes to get an iced tea and they completely forgot about the sandwich. Not a great place to go if you’re hoping for a quick stop or quality food/​drinks.

Makes sense why the line of cars is around the building. Slowest moving Starbucks! They need take a shot of espresso and switch it from turtle to rabbit!

Not enough people making drinks waited forever and there were not many people inside. Not friendly at all…

I agree with the reviewers in saying this location could work on their drink orders.
I have ordered drinks (example iced green tea lemonade), had it repeated back to me, and then receive a pure bitter plain and cold green tea.
This has happened before, and the drinks I order are typically too sweet, not enough, or wrong.
However I will say that this location does usually have a very long line that they take care of a little quicker than other locations. Although I have been in line a couple of times and driven out of it because it was taking too long, for the most part they handle getting people out of line quickly.
If they focus a little more on what people are ordering in their haste, this will help a ton.

It’s Starbucks; they’re pretty consistent with service and taste. Have spent many an evening hanging out here with friends. They’re always pleasant and knowledgeable.

Best Starbucks in town, maybe even in Collin County. Friendly staff prepares my coffee just the way I like it with no hassles if (on the rare occasion) they make a mistake.

Like the clean new interior.
The staff is friendly and competent.
I do miss the smell of roasted coffee being freshly ground.
Plenty of space outside on veranda. Clean interior.

So I order a frap with no whip and she scoops the whip off and half my frap goes with it so I ask for something else and my iced caramel macchiato is ¾ milk

No speaker working to place order. Waited forever. Finally drove up and placed order. They weren’t observant enough to realize they had customers in line but no orders coming in.

Not a bad place but it’s right off the express way so seating outside will be a bit noisy. Very nicely decorated inside. Best coffee cake you can get in Texas is here. I think they are the same at all Starbucks but some how it’s better here. They must have put something inside

I placed an order for 3 travelers and my 1^st call I was hung up on and when I called back, the lady I spoke with was rude and very annoyed at my questions. I don’t usually buy Starbucks, so I have questions. I decided to go to the store and check out the different coffee and again, very rude lady. (I saw her roll her eyes at me when I asked to try a cup) I went the next morning to pick up my travelers (Tuesday, January 20, 2015) and went through the drive through. The girl at the window could not have been more polite. Very professional. The rude one was there and yes, she was annoyed with me once again because I had the nerve to ask for my ½ and ½. Again, the girl at the window was extremely nice. I made sure to tell her so and to let her know that the other lady was not so nice. I don’t think I will return to this location.

The staff here is ALWAYS helpful and prompt when i come here. My office is fairly close so i frequent here multiple times each week. My order is the same almost every time, Blueberry Oatmeal, and a light roast. Each employee is very clear in their communication and they all seem to flow very well with each other slangin’ those drinks quicker than an old western bar tender.
Each time i go the wait is no longer than 5 minutes to get what I’ve asked for. In some rare cases i see they have someone new which my order was prolonged to 15 as expected, thankfully a few people noticed what was going on and took care of me in a swift manor. In the cases i had made some difficult and large orders everything seemed to work great. Going through the drive thru tends to be easy going and a favored route by many besides myself (only b/​c the line is wrapped around the building). Whomever works the drive thru deserves a medal for organization b/​c on the occasions I’ve seen them understaffed they’ll jump in and help with other orders while still getting the person waiting in line on their way.
Others i speak to say they don’t prefer this place but i may have to chop that up to their own views and experiences. Consistency is what I’m all about, everyone has a life they live and not everyday is the same. I always see smiles (sometime tried smiles), even after a huge rush hour and i can appreciate that.

I visit this Starbucks very often, so I’m glad they get my drink order right every time. Another great thing about this location is it’s proximity to US-​75.
The reason for the two-​star rating is the fact that their customer service is pretty much non-​existent. I’ve caught the employees at this location bickering at each other and managers yelling at the baristas. Also, any time I have difficult drink order… I always get the eye-​roll or deep sigh. Totally unnecessary!

I agree with some of the other reviews that the baristas here are not very friendly. I was the only one at the counter and it took 5+ minutes just to be greeted.
In addition, they messed up my drink and the store wasn’t even busy. They made a tall size when I ordered a grande. Not my favorite location. I’ve been here several times when I’m in the area and I can understand that they can be slow when it’s busy but there was barely anybody in the store today.

Always slow and cups are often handed to me with the outside of the cup sticky or dirty. Coffee is also hit or miss on taste.

The bathrooms never seem clean and the staff is usually very slow and unpleasant. So less personal than most other Starbucks. I also HATE sitting on the patio. They never clean the tables down and I’ve never seen the garbage container area closed. I wish they would bring some people over from the McDermott location to help whip these guys into shape.

I need to find out what time the previous reviewer goes to this location and get in the drive thru behind her. because everytime I go, time seems to stand still. It takes forever, and there is no sense of urgency in the employees faces. Oh… and one of the employees threw a friends credit card in the trash by mistake. She insisted that she gave it back to him, and he knows she did not. Well after bugging her enough, she checked everywhere with no luck. Finally, she decided to check the trash, and VOILA! They handed him back his now contaminated credit card along with 1 free drink coupon and no apology.

Love this Starbucks, but seating is at a premium! If you go at high peak times you will wait, but very consistent service. Outside seating is not very appealing as it is right next to people racing around drive thru…, parking can be an issue as a lot of nearby parking is reserved by other business’ & the drive thru traffic can block you getting in & out one of the other spaces.
As a general rule I have found that if ther are 4 or more people in the drive thru & you will get your drink quicker if you park & go in (if you can find a spot ;)
