Danny is the most amazing «nail guy» ever. My nails look beautiful and natural, and he gets the shape exactly the way I like it. Not only is Danny skilled and talented, he is fast. That’s a rare combination.

Worse nail job I have ever received!!! So embarrassing, I wish that I had time to get it redone somewhere else before I leave for vacation. I asked for gel on my toes– and halfway through I realized the color was different and asked why she wasn’t using the light and she said «oh. I don’t do gel toes.» Why not tell me that when I asked for it? Or find a close color to the color I picked? The gel on my hands was WORSE. She wouldn’t even wait for the timer to be done, pulled my hands out too early over and over, so that the the gel couldn’t even dry. My nails are still sticky. They weren’t even filed, cut, or evenly painted. The first woman kept WALKING away in the middle of me talking to her. Mid sentence and she’s gone. Even with the low price i will not go back ever again.

Diana did my manicure gel french and can say it she did a great job. Priced about average for the OC both manicure and pedicure (regular) was $ 69. The pedicure was good, not great. Will continue to go because it is very close to my home and Diana was very good.

I have been going to this salon for six years I live in Laguna beach and drive here just for the service and love Kim provides me! Love the entire team there! Eyebrows nails and hair all amazing and good prices.

Good quality work. My cut was what I liked most. Kelly knew what to do and I’m a first time client. She has been cutting my 5 year old’s hair (my daughter loves Kelly’s cuts) and I decided to give her a shot for my own hair. She did not quite achieve the color I wanted, but I also came from box dye so I’ll try her again in a few weeks and update this review then. $ 100 for a cut, color and highlights (no style). Also, a gel mani is only $ 25, kids mani/​pedi is $ 10 (5 year old).

I WILL NEVER GO THERE ANYMORE. DO NOT GO THERE! It’s been a view months. Since then my favorite hairstylist had left. Leaving me in a awkward situation. Being in a rush I allowed him to cut my hair. Not only did he cut it WAY to short he didn’t even fallow the style that I WANTED. Constantly making negative remarks towards my long hair as a male. That is why I will never step in there.

New to the area and this is a great nail salon. Danny the owner is very kind and the prices are reasonable.

Resist the temptation of coming because of the convenient location or because they can take you right away. I now see why they can take you at anytime. I HIGHLY doubt they have any repeat customers.
They did a horrible job on my nails & toes and I literally had to have my nails redone (elsewhere) THE SAME DAY! My young child could have done a better job… not kidding!

This is the worst hair salon in the U.S. I had a root touch up which I was quoted $ 35 good deal right! When I got there it was upwards of $ 40 — no big deal — but then at check out $ 25 blow dry. They do not match your hair color. They leave you in color while they cut someone else’s hair. The whole time they are washing your hair they try and up sale you (you need hot oil treatment). They ask if you need a shampoo — where have you ever gone that colors your hair and does not wash it out?
They proceeded to dry my hair with round brushes with metal bristles that were bent, missing and mangled. It kept pulling on my hair and hurt, I asked her to change brushes and she did but still to a mangled round brush. She said, your hair is so fine and ran a brush through the ends quickly and you could hear it breaking. What hair dresser is so cheap to use those brushes?
That was three days ago and tonight I have to sleep with treatment in my hair as it is so thrashed form Kelly’s lack of professionalism and consideration. I have never had split ends like this before. My hair was long and beautiful and to get back the way it was I will have to start over with a bob.

They are very friendly! Go to school in Santa Barbara and I always make the drive down b/​c it is well worth it (: great prices also! Danny is awesome at what he does! Def recommend coming!!!

I came here because I don’t have time to waste. So I get my hair and nails done at the same time. The owner Kim is so awesome. She helps me pick out the latest colors. Danny is my favorite for nails but I honestly have many favorite nail people. They are all so good and try so hard.
Kelly has been coloring and cutting my hair for years. Great job at a great price.

James dang is fantastic and quick at his job he is new to the salon and I totally recommend him to anyone who wants to get there hair done ;)))

I’ve been coming here for the better part of the year. I used to go across the street to Supercuts, but I switched because the guys here are much better at what they do, and they charge a little less.
James did my haircut and he was super friendly, made suggestions as to how to hide my balding spots and how to style it right. He even threw in a little back massage! Great guy, I would definitely go back.

I went there because it is close to my home. I posted a picture of my nails less than 24 hours after getting them done at Excel Beauty by Phuck so you can judge the quality for yourself. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the quality and he made me bleed. The nail polish was chipped in every single nail in less than 24 hours! What a waste of $ 20 and my time! Never going back!

So yeah I got my nails done for prom in June and already spend about 150 $ for my dress and shoes and accessories and had to pay 30 $ for gel manicure that peeled off within 3 days. I’m never coming back.

I only come here because it’s close to work.
Had the owner put on white tips and do a Gel manicure. By the end of the day, the clear coat was peeling off. The freaking owner did this! I called and was told to come back the next day.
I can’t understand their Engrish so I do not understand what top coat they put on wrong that peeled in the first place but whatevs, Danny applied a different top coat.
Came back two weeks later and asked for Danny to apply my feel and asked him why can I see my real nails through the white tips already? I would expect this to happen a month later but they put the white tip on too far down. Danny’s resolution was to put a ghetto silver line on each nail to distract from this.

I come on a lunch break and you seriously have to remind them how long you have to be there because they will take their sweet ass time on you.

Another great mani & pedi from the team at Excel! I have been going here for the past year and have zero complaints! I show up without an appointment every 2 – 3 weeks and get my deluxe mani/​pedi (gel nails.) They are always friendly, they do good work and are extremely accommodating!

Worse French manicure/​pedicure ever. No attention to detail whatsoever. And they charged me extra even though I specifically asked them if it would be more to have two different colors instead of just white. Horrible customer service.
