I had the osmanthus black tea with no sugar and this time it tasted like real brewed tea that’s not sweet. The cashier let me know if any adjustments needed to let her know. I will be back.

Can’t go wrong with a lychee tea with lychee jelly. Three stars for inconsistency. Sometimes too sweet sometimes too bland. Popcorn chicken tasted a little too powdery not as good as other places near by.

Winter is coming. I guess having the ac on full blast would be good during the summer, but dang, if you ask them to turn the ac down a little they say that they are not able to… Seriously? What a bunch of bs. Anyway, their teas are steeped too long, way too bitter. I mean, if you’re a fan, my guest. I remember why I stopped coming here last year, it was because their previous stamp was stolen and they wouldn’t honor previous cards. Yep, pretty lame. Instead of printing a new design with a new stamp on their stamp cards, they decided to just get a new stamp. Good job brah, lost me as a customer right there. No problem though, plenty of other places in the area.

This wouldn’t be my go to tea place but their egg pudding is pretty delicious. Tea quality is decent but the service from time to time may not be consistent. Sometimes they are attentive sometimes they are not. It all depends on whom ever is working. However on weekdays during no. Peak hours they r pretty quiet if u need a place to work. I mean in SGV there are plenty of boba places just depends if you want to have a specific dave of the day. So boba. Meh. Pudding delicious! Food: the food here is not bad actually. I prefer this over tea station! They have a lot more options and its decently priced. I love their joy pots(hot pot)!

The service here is terrible… Walking into the restaurant half of our party wasn’t here so we declined to take our order right away. BUT once our whole party was here we sat here for 10 – 15 mins without anyone coming to take our order. We had to ask and catch their attention. When we were finally greeted, she sadly greeted a mixed table of males and females as «ladies» sorry guys… Then ANOTHER disappointment was getting our orders wrong. They added pudding into one of our drinks that didn’t order it, and forgot to add it in another drink that did order it… AND The worst part. The pudding was disgusting. It was so mushy. Ugh I don’t know if I’ll return to this location. But 3 stars because my cousins say their drinks and food were good. The employees were apologetic about their mistakes so at least they were nice.

My favourite spot to go to. Beware, it gets white busy here so prepare to wait. However, drinks are great and the staff are nice enough

Overall: Great place to catch-up with friends while having«premium priced» food/drink! If you live for boba, this is the place to go!(Because they give you lots of boba in your drink. Each sip will guarantee you at least one boba per sip) Parking: There is a big parking lot in the front. It’s located in a plaza with Wells Fargo. Interior: Modern and spacious. Good amount of seating. Service: Good customer service. Food: Yes, it’s pricier than other boba places, but it’s tenren. I actually like their drinks. I usually order jasmine green milk tea with boba and their customize-your-own slushie drink. Ratings: Love this place. Great location to hangout with friends. They don’t usher you out even if you are there for a long period of time, which is a big plus!

Parking is never a problem. The servers are always greeting all customers and happy to see me. Of all the Ten Ren’s in So Cal, this is my favorite place. My favorite seats are the bench along the wall. You have to eat/drink here to know why. The bathroom is clean most of the time. This is a plus+plus. I am not much of a WiFi user, so weekend wifi-disabling does not bother me. The drinks are pricey but we kept coming back. Ha. Ha. The drinks take a while because someone has to make it. I would recommend ½ sugar because those sugar calories are difficult to get rid of. I have eaten most items on the menu. The steamed dumpling is good. I started eating popcorn chicken here and it is so good. The braised pork rice is the best but you should spit out the fat. A little pork fat is probably ok. The noodle is my recent favorite dish. The plum green mango tea is really delicious. I wish they add dark vinegar pickled egg and pork hock on the menu. I don’t think people noticed that the flame from the hotpot eaters smelled deadly. Maybe my nose is more sensitive.

They take forever to get a drink order! I don’t know why… If you are in a rush, do not come here to get a tea. This is a more modern looking and upscale Ten Ren’s. They have TV, plugs and internet. The tea is average but lots of selection. I have not tried the food or sat down before so I cannot comment on those. Seeing how slow they are at prepping tea just makes me stay away and I live right down the block!

A place for food and teas. Only had the teas so far. I think this is the place to go for the tea lovers. You can taste the quality of the tea they use. Seems like a fun place to hang out.

I come here often to study mainly because it is convenient and they accept credit card(rare for many boba places in the SGV). I usually don’t order meals here. My order usually consists of an oosmanthus oolong tea or oolong milk tea with an order of spicy popcorn chicken. However, I like that their menu is not strictly limited to just boba drinks and snacks. If I get hungry, I can order an actual meal here. Studying– There are outlets all along on the wall(right-side from the entrance). If you need an outlet, ask for an outlet when getting seated. Free WIFI(weekdays only) but you will need to manually reconnect every hour or so. If you’re like me and can tune out background music and noises easily, you might like this place for studying. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend studying here. Parking– no time limit, big private lot shared with Wells Fargo, Little Caesar’s, and Smart & Final. Never had trouble once with parking since I started coming here. Service– servers are usually attentive and will respond immediately when flagged. Some will check up on you every now and then. Note: It gets REALLY chilly here because the AC is usually on high. Bring a sweater or something warm if you plan to stay awhile. Don’t forget to ask for a stamp card!

I would say the tea here is average. I prefer Half and Half. PARKING: super accessible, right in front of the building. SERVICE: the employees were really gracious and answered all my questions. Very friendly and willing to customize to your palate. PRICING: pricing is fine depending on what you get. It can start adding up if you add toppings. It’s only 75 cents to upgrade to a large though! FOOD: my friend and I got the mango icee milk with egg pudding and boba(around $ 4). I didn’t really get much of a mango flavor from the drink and most of it just tasted super milky. The boba was not really good – a little flavorless and kind of hard.

Costumer takes a while to make up their mind on their drinks, while we waited out of the line to decide; after-all they do have 4 nice, tall, big flat-screen tv slideshow on the side of the line of all the drinks with pictures. Good set-up to draws people quick decision on their drinks while waiting in line before(supposedly) being help next and to place your order. I got the large Litchi Green Mango with mini-boba, and my sister is trying out the house special’s(can’t go wrong with that for first timer) regular Jasmine Milk Green Tea with litchi jelly. Yay, this place takes Discover card, lol. As we take it out and drink our tea, it turns out both drinks was good-ish. I felt like my large drink was watery-feeling(than the name of the flavor). Will come back again to try different drinks while making up our mind from the tv slideshow for the next pick! Costumer service at this location is way-better than any Tea Station that I have known. Brit reach out to me after hearing that my drink was somewhat watery, and shared with me about their«Open Lid Policy» so costumers can always go out with 100% guarantee that they will enjoy their drinks every single-time. Because of her sharing and showing she cares, will always feel confident to come back for another drink.

I’ll admit that this isn’t my favorite boba place, but the convenient location and parking lot have me coming back over and over. I always come to buy drinks to go so can’t say much about the food. Ten Ren has all the flavors you’d ever want and I appreciate the easy to read menu. I never expect anything mindblowing, but Ten Ren does the job of satisfying my boba craving. Personal favorite include the earl grey milk tea and old fashioned milk tea. TIP: ALWAYS reduce your sugar. I always get headaches when I forget to say 50% and that is already super sweet. Last time I was there the wait for drinks was quite a while. Poor dad waiting in the car thought there was a massive line when there were actually only two people ahead of us. Might want to consider ordering on the phone ahead of time if you’re in a hurry. However, person taking our order at the counter was very nice and I like how there’s usually a free sample station.

I was holding off uploading this review, but today it really pushed the limits. On a to-go order, they gave us burned carcinogenic food. How could anyone even proceed to pack this food and give it to a customer. Does anyone care here? I’ve uploaded a photo of the food. When we called them about it, it wasn’t really a priority for them. If they aren’t going to care about this, what other short cuts or indiscretions would they tolerate when making your food? Now I am already at my destination and I don’t have anything to feed my son. Another big problem here though is that it is for a younger crowd, and run by a younger entitled group of employees. Routinely, at 7:00pm at the peak of dinner, I count at least 12 –15 tables where kids are on their computers doing homework or having a study group… but not eating dinner. I asked the employees and manager about any policies about squatters(or whatever it’s called when you have customers not buying dinner and holding tables for hours at a time) and they said there is no policy or time limit. I’ve brought my family of 4, where we were all going to order full meals and drinks, but they don’t have an available table. I have asked about sitting at their larger booths, but they won’t give it to me because it’s for 5 people or more. Meanwhile I see that they use it for when 1 or 2 employees want to sit and use it for their breaks. So if you need a study area to do homework, it’s a useful place. But if you are going for dinner and are a paying, revenue producing customer, you may have to wait unnecessarily for people to finish their homework. Might as well take your money elsewhere, where they actually care about their product and the care and service their customers experience. The business owner either doesn’t know this is happening and is losing money, or they don’t care. I’m a business owner and would never let my customer service fall to the lows of this place. There are several of these employees that I would have let go already too. See the carcinogenic burned food pic.

Service is okay. Drinks are okay. Food is okay. I work by here so sometimes if I need something quick and easy I’ll stop by here. I don’t remember what my friend ordered for me from here but it was not good. The iced tea I had was extremely bitter to the taste and had a very odd after-taste. I can’t put my finger on how to describe it aside from weird. I also ordered some steamed veggies with minced pork on a separate occasion. It wasn’t anything great. It tasted like salty over-cooked veggies with salty pork. On top of that it took a while for the food to come out. My lunch break was almost over when I got my food.

Hello my Unilocalies, First time at this location’s Ten Ren. I’ve got to say the whole place looks very beautiful, the décor are very modern and really does make you want to just sit there for hours with some friends. I got the ice milk drink with black sugar plus boba and pudding. It’s pretty decent, I do like the whole black sugar taste but it is on the sweeter side so if you don’t like a drink that’s too sweet, I wouldn’t suggest this. The place is very convenient for people who wants to study, they have those cell phone chargers on the table for easy access which I do appreciate. The service is decent, the price is pretty similar to other boba places. Next time I’ll definitely come back to try out their food.

First time at this location. Quite the variety of tea(hot/cold) and milk teas. Ambience was nice with good amount of space for dining in and quick access for those who need to grab and go(I was the latter). Many TV screens helped eliminate the micro type of menus I usually see at tea places and a small sign was posted saying they were reducing their sugar levels due to customer suggestions(they listen to their customers… another refreshing tip to note). I ordered the Thai milk tea with boba and it was quite good… not overly sweet and the boba was just right. Parking is close and service was friendly and quick. I’ll have to return to make sure it’s not an aberration of an experience :)

The drinks and snacks are always good but service here tends to be slow and the wi-fi is very spotty. My go to is the osmanthus oolong with ½ sugar cause they tend to make drinks pretty sweet but the quality of the tea is good :) I also like that a lot of their snacks come in mini portions too so if you’re not too hungry, theres still something for you and you can try a bunch of things! I really enjoyed the popping fish balls but they were a bit oily. The servers here don’t really check up on you but they’re friendly. The only annoying thing is that the wi-fi always logs you out and forces you to rejoin it about a million times in one session.

Not a bad place. Food is good for this place being predominantly a tea shop, large menu selection, and ample parking. Only downside is sometimes the service is bad and they are slow to take your order or bring out your main dishes before the appetizers. Drinks are just okay. What I’ve Tried… Spicy Miso Joy Pot($ 10.99) — think of this as a spicy miso hot pot. The miso flavor was on the saltier side and the«mild» spicy level was a bit more spicier than I thought it would be. I ordered it with pork which was really tasty since it was fatty pieces of pork slices. There was also napa cabbage, sliced carrots, firm tofu, and glass noodles in the soup. The bean sauce they serve it with is definitely one of the better ones in the area, I actually like the sauce here more than the one at Boiling Point. If you like miso and spicy but can’t handle the heat. you ought to stick with the regular miso. Overall, a good dish and I would try it again. Three flavor chicken — prepared with three different type of flavors — ginger, soy sauce, and i think rice wine. This dish was also a bit on the spicier side but had really good flavor. It was nice that it is also served with small side dishes. If you come during lunch special you can pay $ 1.50 to add on a drink as well. Sweet Potato Fries w/Plum Powder — So I had this a few days back at Why Thirsty? and really enjoyed it. Ten Ren definitely beats them out in terms of flavoring and the breading on the sweet potato fries! Only issue is the portions are pretty small compared to Why Thirsty. I definitely recommend this item if you are looking for something to snack on. Service… Could be a bit better. The first time I came here, it took them about ten minutes to finally come and take my order. I actually had to flag someone down. They never checked in with me after that. My second experience with them was a bit better since we sat closer to the kitchen.cashier. Planning to try more of their different joy pots! Can’t wait!
