All I can say is.. . RELAXATION! My bestie treated me to a pedicure for my birthday! Best one I’ve have in my life. Michael and Lynn are AMAZING! Great customer service, atmosphere, and refreshments. The prices are worth the service and I’d definitely return!

I have been going to Julie for years now. She is my favorite and does fantastic manicures and pedicures. I like a natural look and have short nails and I am always very pleased with how they look when I leave! She is off on Tuesdays but it’s worth calling and asking for her if you want someone really good.

This is a pretty nice spa. Hair, nails, massage. All good things. My only problem is that the hair stylist didn’t listen to me when I asked her to cut my hair dry because it shrinks up a lot between being wet and dry. They do gel nails and gel polish which is the main reason I go there and I love the way my nails look. My bangs turned out like one of the pictures I showed my husband but not like the picture we agreed on for a cut. They do still look nice though. Update: Hi John N., The name of the stylist is on the photo.

This place is great for a mani/pedi when I’m hanging on «the highway». I typically visit late morning or early afternoon during the week so wait time is minimal if at all. They have a decent color selection HOWEVER I’ve noticed their color selection is growing in the shellac/gel nail department but dwindling in the regular polish department… so if you’re looking for seasonsal colors for natural nails, they may not have it.

Randomly walked in yesterday, coming from out of town and decided to go with the manicure and pedicure. The place has beautiful décor and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a soothing jungle or garden! The mural on the wall is VERY pretty. I had Cindy do my manicure– she was very nice and we shared great conversation. Then it was time for the pedicure and I had another lady(I don’t remember her name)…either way she was nice too and the finished product from both services were very pretty! The only thing I was sad about is that I was not offered a drink/snack like everyone else. Also, I would have appreciated being able to use that neck weight/relaxing pillow thingy after my long day at work and after traveling to Alexandria.

Feeling better after a spell with a bug that laid me OUT for almost six days and was in dire need of a pick-me-up…landed at Solace while running long overdue errands. Just a quick manicure was all I really needed. Still feeling out of sorts and not willing to dedicate the time or money to the full on treatment that I sooooo need(and deserve), so I stopped in for the express manicure($ 18 — higher than what I’ve become accustomed to). I was pleasantly surprised! No pushy sales tactics. No wait. No rolling of the eyes when I changed my mind THREE times over polish color. No over-gnawing at my poor tender cuticles. AND while I languished at the drying station(hey, those drying stations make a huge difference when you are opting for just straight polish), I was treated to an extra slather of enriching oil for my über dry cuticles. No complaints here! I’ll be back.

Walked in and asked for Gel mani the nail tech. Julie was my nail tech. I was very disappointed by the time I got home two of my nails had chipped and the underside of my nails were rough. To make this even more disappointing was Solace nails charged $ 40 + tip. I will never return. Beware low quality with high prices.

I was a walk in appointment for a pedicure and I told them I only had 45 minutes before I had to pick my kids up. All the seats were full, and there were two clients waiting, but the receptionist assured me that I could be fit in, no problem. After waiting a few minutes, the receptionist(not a nail tech) led me to a chair & set me up with a warm foot bath. 25 minutes later, the water was cold and nobody had come to start my pedicure! I was irate! I only had 10 minutes before I had to leave. The receptionist rushed someone over, Julie, who did a quick paint on my toes, but the damage was done. It was not relaxing, I felt anxious and angry the whole time.

Stay away. I have gone here for a number of mediocre manis and pedis. Today a man, not Michael, was assigned to give me a manicure. He was brutal cutting my cuticles. He made two bleed and did not seem to care. I left before he could do more damage.

Cindy has been doing my nails and pedis for years now. Once you find someone good, you stick with them. Great place to go for a little ‘me’ time. Highly recommend.

so I did go again, unfortunately it was not this same like a first time, mediocre. My pedicure was very average, the massage lame and the color was not apply correctly(some place darker some lighter, I can do that myself) I did love my first time in there too bad that they are not consistent. I will not take my chances again.

I went here on the spur of the moment because I needed to kill time while my son was at golf practice and I needed a pedicure/polish change on my nails bad. I got there around 7PM(they close at 8) and told them what I wanted, they assured me it would be no problem. I ended up with a very nice lady named Dani to do my pedicure/nails. She was very polite and did a great job with the pedicure. The wine selection is nice(I’ve got to go back just for the prosecco alone) and the pedicure lasted a LONG time. She was very thorough with the rub. The heated wraps are a nice touch. Here’s where things start to go down hill — I’m laid back in the chair with my eye wrap and my shoulder wrap almost asleep when the receptionist asks me to pay for my services since they were trying to close up. That’s not a problem really but okay. Now, it’s 8PM, they’re closing, my pedicure’s not finished yet and I still have my nails to do(I have gel nails, so she’d have to polish the gel off, clean, repaint, and put new gel on… at least a half hour process). My feet get done around 8:15. Dani then puts the new color I wanted right on top of my nicked up, nasty gel on my fingers instead of taking the time to go and polish it off like I had paid for. On top of that, the polish doesn’t fully cover the nail on all sides and you can still see the french manicure below it. For the price I paid for all of this($ 75) I was not amused. I feel that the salon should at least comp my nail service. However, everyone was gone and there was no one to talk to about it. It’s been a week — I think I will write them a letter/email and see what kind of response I get.
