Good option to have. Dropped by after work one day and tried their lunch special. Employees are friendly and attentive. The ambiance is modern and everything is neatly set. We enjoyed our meal. I wouldn’t say this is our favorite place for Thai food, but everything was still quite delicious. Quality ingredients are used. I’m glad it’s close to work. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but it’s definitely a nice option to have when you’re in the area.

I would give it 3.5 stars if I had the option. Atmosphere: Pretty fancy looking place once you step in. Nice formal looking dining rooms with booths and tables. Nice bar on the side. It was very quiet inside but it was all nicely decorated. Food: Chicken Satay-I recommend this appetizer. It came with a piece of toast(which I found strange) and a small cucumber onion salad. The dish was really delicious — the peanut sauce had just the right amount of spice and flavor. The salad was sweet and light. It was great! Lard Na — this is my go to Thai dish and I was thoroughly disappointed with it. The gravy is so key in this dish but this gravy had an odd taste to it… it was kind of sour? Not sure how to describe it, just wasn’t to my liking. And if the gravy isn’t good, the whole dish suffers. Ta Kai — this was a dish for spice lovers — it def. packed a punch. Good amount of veggies, meat and it came with a bowl of rice. Definitely really good for people who love spiciness-it’s the kind that stay with you and stings. Service: Very good service. Everyone was very accommodating with water refills and packing food. They were on it! I would give this place a shot again and try something else. Maybe the Lard Na just isn’t to my taste. But overall, this place gave me a good enough impression that I would revisit. Don’t forget to drop off your Business card for a chance to win a free meal every month!

It was a semi cold rainy Wednesday. The air was sultry and I didn’t want to go out to grab lunch. I don’t like the weigh and pay at the job, but hey, if it came down to getting wet and cold to get food I wasn’t with it. My right hand mam suggested Rice & Spice off of Little River Turnpike. My first reaction was, there are no good Thai places around there. Secondly, I am not going to try yet another Thai place that doesn’t know what they are doing. I mean, I’ve been to some of the best Thai restaurants in Alexandria! This basically equates to me saying«Hey, I’ve been to some of the best Wendy’s in Thailand» Since it wasn’t my turn to pick the lunch destination, I reluctantly went. I had to drive to so you know I was spewing profanities(dang and darn) while heading there. Once there the décor through me a bit. It was surprising nice inside. I mean, it wasn’t like opening scene beautiful, like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It was surprisingly nice looking like internet date who looks like their pictures good. So, I let out a «hmmmmm» to let everyone know that I will reserve judgement until my food comes. So I looked through the menu, of course snickering like an 8 year old trying to say some of the dish names but settled on the Thai Fried Rice with vegetables. The food arrived quickly and let me tell you this. It was good. Let’s pause and have a Never-ending Story moment, where I am talking to you, the reader. (0)(0) Those are my eyes. Look at me while I tell you this. The food was REALLY Good. I think you’ll like it. ah dat dat dat dat(that’s me interrupting your thoughts)…don’t think about what you are going to make of my last comment. I am telling you. It’s good. Don’t worry about what the shopping center looked like or how crazy the parking lanes look. Don’t concern yourself with the dated feel of the surrounding shops. Rice& Spice is worth the trip. I went back to the office and I had to eat crow. I kinda wish it was Jasmine Spice Crow on large noodles with broccoli, but beggars can’t be choosers. So take a minute and check this place out for yourself. Yup… still talking directly to you. Nice hairstyle by the way. It suits you. (0) —- That was a wink. ok, I think we are both over this.
