Floriza is amazing with cutting and coloring my hair. I’ve been going to her for a few years now ever since she’s been at Colorworks then followed to her own studio. I definitely recommend her to my family, friends, and coworkers.

I went to Floriza per a friend’s recommendation and am so happy I did! Floriza really listened to what I wanted and gave a couple options on how we could get to my desired look. You can tell that not only does she have a strong knowledge of her craft but she has a passion for it, especially when it comes to color. My goal was to leave with pink in my hair. Floriza made sure I left with the perfect shades of blondes and pinks. She did everything so quickly too, especially considering the thickness of my hair. I was done in less than 4 hour-​this included some lightening and then the pink color. She developed a shade of pink based on pictures I had showed here of my desired effect and it’s soooooo perfect! I absolutely love what she did and am looking forward to my next visit.

I have been seeing Floriza since ²⁰¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₁ when she was still at Colorworks and followed her to her new salon when she left! Floriza is professional, very courteous and such a joy to work with. She takes in my comments, ideas or concerns I’ve been having with my hair, makes suggestions or fixes. I have very long hair and it takes a lot of trust to know it won’t get butchered! lol. And I have trusted her since after getting my first cut with her!
I have only recently gotten my hair colored and of course, I turned to Floriza for my first ever. She consulted me for months, as it took me three months from idea to, ok I’m finally ready for the big change. She was always patient, explained and reexplained things for me about the process, what it would do to my hair, what she would do to protect it, etc. Always detailed and accommodating! You’ll see pics of my purple ombré hair, first time ever coloring my hair, and how well the colors mesh. She makes sure you are happy with her work before leaving-​some people wouldn’t look back twice, just to get you out the door and on to their next appointment. Floriza gives you undivided attention and full satisfaction.
But before coloring my hair, I had always gone to Floriza for my hair cuts. We went from my ‘Japanese’ style cut of long hair but lots of short layers (which I will post old pics of) and bangs, to growing out the bangs and layers for a fuller look as my hair stayed longer and longer. She always gives me a nice blowout after or cute curls, especially if I ‘have plans’ that night! :P
All in all, Floriza has always taken great care of me and my hair, I would and have recommended my friends or strangers (people ask me on the street!) to her, including the pink ombré haired tinkerbell you see pics of also, who is a close friend of mine! It’s always a pleasure seeing Floriza. She’s been my stylist for a couple years now and her work never ceases to amaze me. I live in Newport News now, but I would make that drive to NOVA because I trust her judgement and hands with my hair. Best stylist everrrrrr!
