I love this dollar store so much! It’s one of my favorite in the whole area. It’s not the cleanest of stores but I think the staff is really nice. I like to go there and get decorations for parties and my balloons blown up. I always am running into my friends there too. The secrets starting to get out!

Very dirty. Staff was less then helpful. I’ve been to much better. Parking lot is large, but shops around this location are all boarded up. The light to get in and out is VERY difficult.

This Dollar Tree is a dollar store. It is incorrectly listed as a «customized merchandise» retailer operating on Belford Drive. It is one of the many stores that is part of Dollar Tree’s national chain, located within the Mt. Vernon Crossroads shopping mall on Richmond Highway, south of the City of Alexandria. I can get a good deal on cleaning, kitchen, and gift wrapping supplies. That is, why go to a big grocery chain and pay $ 2.50 for a 25 ounce bottle of dishwashing liquid when you can get it for a buck at Dollar Tree? Plus, unlike many other independently-owned dollar stores, this Dollar Tree is clean, takes great care as to the merchandise it offers its customers, accepts manufacturers coupons, and the customer service is great. It pays to take time to do some research before shopping at any dollar store. This reviewer suggests, for those of you going to any dollar store to buy non-perishable food items, that you do some comparison shopping, i.e. size and pricing, at your local grocery store first. For example, why pay 79 cents for a 15 oz. can of green beans at a dollar store, when you can purchase the same item at the grocery store for 68 cents? Unfortunately, it gets this reviewer’s two-star rating. Don’t plan on power shopping(buying a lot of merchandise at a great price in one fell swoop) at this Dollar Tree. The grocery carts have tall poles attached to them that won’t permit the removal of the carts from the store to the parking lot. That is, a customer shouldn’t buy more than he/she can carry out the door in one trip.
