Nice place with good north Indian food. This has become our place of choice for Indian food. Nice service.

Service is only average and definitely need improvement if possible. The curry goat was very tasty and likely the most popular selection on the buffet. Also the food is not too spicy, and with good seasoning on their boneless chicken. Don’t forget to get the milk tea at the end. This place is good for the family and friends want to sit and talk about their week.

I love the service and the food here. Every time I am here with friends we always get the same friendly, upbeat services. The food are always excellent. My favorite dish here is the pepper chicken(very spicy), don’t forget to order the homemade garlic nan.

Very pleased with our dinner here last night. I had two small children with me and the waitstaff were very sweet with them. They immediately brought waters in kid-friendly cups and some coloring mats. Kids meals are pretty good portions too. Had a restaurant gift certificate that brought me in. Would definitely come back. Great food and great service.

One of the better restaurants in Kingstown. I had went to the movies and because I had missed my show, I went in for a snack. I sat at the bar and was attended to almost immediately partly I guess, because there wasn’t anybody sitting there. I ordered a kebab platter appetizer which tasted freshly made and it was delicious. I’ll definitely go back when and if I’m in the area.

We went in for lunch. And saw that they were doing Buffett. Rice was dry, naan was cold and curry chicken and goat was good. It wasn’t great but wasn’t bad. I had worst. When u walk in u have to wait until someone see u to sit u down. Once we got the table everything was ok. Bathroom was dirty. It wasent like they were dirty from person before me it’s dirty like u should have cleaned the bathroom like week ago. If it was just about the food I would say 3. Device and cleanness 2. So they get two. Maybe it was just today they have lots of great reviews.

A beautiful place to take your loved one on a date or to celebrate without hurting your pocket but rewarding your taste buds! We went for the lunch buffet and it is slightly limiting but the amazing taste makes up for it. This is a place where the people really care about you and although slightly pricy, the food is amazing and you will come here over and over again. If you’re looking for a special place to take someone or a important family outing, come here!

After spending 2.5 hours watching Spectre, I walked out the movie theater hungry for an early dinner and surrounded by dining options. I’m a big fan of Indian Food, so of course I pulled out my trusty Unilocal app to see whether this place would be worth trying. It was and my fellow Unilocalers did not disappoint! We arrived at the start of dinner, and there was already a nice amount of people seated for dinner. I understand that this establishment is on the smaller side, but I really have a pet peeve with restaurants that do not have seating options for two people who want a private meal… and I mean the 2-seater tables are so close to each other that it feels like you are sharing a dinner experience with strangers.(–1 star). Luckily there was nobody seated next to us, on both sides because I selected the table all the way at the end! At the end of the day, this will not… and I repeat NOT stop me from going to get good food! Just a preference. So I got started with the vegetable Samosa– just potatoes and peas in a triangular pastry served with two delicious types of chutney. One is a spicy green chutney, made of cilantro or mint? And the other… not sure I remember, but both really improve the taste of the samosa and adds a little heat. BANGING! Sometimes I’m adventurous but I’ve learned I can’t really handle the heat from spicy foods– so it’s a gamble between do I want to try something new or do I want to just go with what I know. I really wanted to try the Thali plate, but as the waiter kindly explained to me– the heat of everything included in the plate could not be adjusted. Lucky for me, my date decided to pick the Thali plate, and of course I asked to try everything! There wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle! I was definitely still glad to settle with my safe option of Chicken Tikki Masala! This is the first Chicken Tikki Masala that had large pieces of green pepper and onions included– the same size of the chicken. Regardless, it was delicious! I also had a side of naan bread, and it came out hot and fresh, crispy and delicious. The service was prompt and they always checked to see if we needed anything, and kept our water glasses full but they were not too overbearing. Just the right amount of service! I would definitely recommend this place, and it seems to be a good location for groups. I don’t live close to this location, so not sure when I will be back, but if I am close by *in my terminator voice* «I’LLBEBACK!»

Not sure what was going on in the kitchen today but the chef is on point today! The buffet selection was good as usual and the place was packed. I gotta say sometimes the curry goat can be a little tough but not today. Flavor was outstanding and the meat was rightly tender. This place offers both a vegetarian selection and several chicken options for those that are not into goat. Either way the food was exceptional today and I over ate thanks to the buffet. It’s been awhile since I’d visited but I won’t say away for so long again. Great food, great service!

Price: Average Atmosphere: Buffet style Food: Amazing Service: Good This is an amazing place to eat for lunch. I bring friends that have not tried Indian style foods and they love it as well. I strongly recommended to anyone. The butter chicken is by far my favorite. All you can eat for $ 13 is a great deal. The dinner menu options are a little more expensive but worth the cost. Please come and enjoy. The staff is amazing as well. They are friendly and willing to help.

Have been a regular at this location due to proximity to my work and never been let down. The restaurant is the best alternative in the suburbs to Rasika, which arguably is the best Indian restaurant though not necessarily for the authenticity of its menu in the DC Metro area. My friend and I always savor the Salt and Pepper Fish and Kerala Coconut Lamb as our appetizers with a Taj Mahal beer or the ‘Curry Leaf Martini’. The main course is always a struggle to choose between the varieties that ‘Aditi’ offers. I mostly choose the spicy Vindaloo, Chicken Makhni or the Goat Pepper Fry and my friend explores different sections on each visit and she has never been disappointed considering that she lived in London and have always boasted of the Indian dining choices there. ‘Aditi’ offers a small choice on its wine menu that matches to the food and the prices are reasonable. Overall, I shall say that the service is courteous, pleasant and prompt and the food never fails or always meets and exceeds expectations with its flavor and quality. I view my visits as a ‘wholesome experience’ rather than a place to eat good food.

Aditi is a wonderful spot! Whether you are going out to dinner on a date, with a group of friends, or with your family this place has an atmosphere that really fits all occasions. The décor is really well done and the staff is incredibly helpful and inviting(shout out to Hari!). Aditi has a menu in which anyone could find something to love. There are plenty of meat, vegetarian, pescatarian, halal and gluten-free options for you to chose from, depending on your lifestyle, and we have always been greeted by a well-balanced cocktail/wine menu. We have dined here about 4 or 5 times — at the bar and in the dining area — having been impressed every single time. I would recommend the Spinach Chaat and/or Bombay Salmon next time you go :) Thanks Aditi!

We’ve both been sick for the last two weeks with bronchitis. On the mend, you want really delicious food. Aditi now uses Unilocal’s Eat24 app. So, from the sofa I ordered and paid from my phone. Less than 30 minutes later, I picked up the order at the bar. Now why would this merit a review? Take away isn’t special. It can be: imagine a large whole foods style bag with handles, inside all individual containers carefully stacked and placed by weight. No, I’m not kidding. I’ve never seen this before. Husbear was so happy to have his favorite meal from Aditi at home and it’s so convenient.

A hidden gem in the Kingstowne shopping center. The modern appeal plays to the shopping center, but unlike some of the neighboring restaurants, the space does not seem unpolished. The lighting is appealing and the music neither too loud nor too soft. The space itself does a nice job of absorbing sound, making all of the seats in the restaurant feel a little bit secluded, even on a shared banquette running perpendicular to the windows. The food is better than a generic«local Indian» spot, but the flavor and charm make it my most frequented spot. The Thali platters – Indian food samplers – offer several curries with small sides and are great sharing dishes. If you are hungry [and want to hate yourself later], you could possibly finish one alone. But the best Indian cuisine experiences are shared. The samosas and baby spinach chaat are favorite appetizers, one savory and crispy, the other sweet and a bit tart. The black lentils are buttery and filling; the yellow lentils delicately spiced. The curried vegetable croquettes is one of the smaller entrées, but the smokey tomato sauce is fantastic. And the curries that are traditionally associated with chicken or lamb can be prepared with mixed vegetables or paneer. I would never wish it upon anyone that they live in Kingstowne, but for the unfortunate ones that do, Aditi is a nice consolation. Looking forward to trying the Union Station location, much closer to the home and office.

Very lovely décor and nice staff, but the food was disappointing and it took us almost half an hour for our take-out order to be ready. My fiancé and I visited Aditi during a thunderstorm and ordered take-out for later that evening, since we knew we wouldn’t want to leave our apartment to brave the elements while there was a flash flood warning issued. We absolutely loved the sleek décor and thought it would be a great place to stay and dine in. But our order took FOREVER and a day to come out. It wasn’t even that complicated — chicken tikka masala(medium spicy), chicken korma(mild), and garlic Naan on the side. But it really took them 30 minutes to prepare, even though it was 2:30pm and the restaurant wasn’t too crowded. The food itself was disappointing. The chicken tikka masala was WAYTOOSWEET! It didn’t have any spiciness to it — it was simply just cream and sugar mixed together with some curry paste. So disappointing… The garlic Naan also had NO garlic in it! We couldn’t taste a single hint of garlic… the bread was just burnt and bland. Very disappointing. My fiancé said he liked his chicken korma dish a bit more, but still wasn’t very impressed. 2 stars for nice service, but it wasn’t efficient(took so much time to get ready) and the food was disappointing. Upon entering the restaurant and seeing how classy it is, we had hoped to visit again, but I doubt we would, given this experience. I generally love Indian food and there are better places to get it in Virginia!

Unfortunately I did not go during their buffet. I did wish to try their buffet option. I went during their dinner hour. I came here with my husband to grab a quick bite and we did not regret our choice. I personally did not like their regular nan bread. On the other hand, their garlic nan bread is so delicious. Unfortunately, you can’t replace your regular nan bread(that comes with your curry order) with the garlic nan bread. So you have to order an extra nan bread if you want a taste of their soft and delicious garlic nan. The garlic nan is crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The garlic and oil saturates the bread with an amazing flavor. Their curries are bright and fresh. The rice soaks up all the curry spices and leaves your mouth happy with flavor overload.

An unfortunately timed nap(Lunch Buffets FTW) forced me to satiate my Indian craving in the moonlight hour. Unilocal led me to Aditi Indian Dining, a polished gem in the sea of fast casual chain restaurants of Kingstowne Towne Center. This is most definitely not the mom-and-pop Indian shops that I am used to in the burbs. They had a fully stocked bar and the restaurant was very nicely decorated with a lively atmosphere. The best part of my meal was the palak chat which rivals Rasika’s in quality minus the wait. The boy and I split the butter chicken, bhindi masala and an order of the garlic naan with lots of room for leftovers the next day. Nothing disappointed, and I have to give big ups for the bhindi masala(curried okra) for giving me a flavor explosion in my mouth. I try to incorporate a lot of vegetables in my diet(mostly begrudgingly) but I would have happily downed this even if it had no health benefits.

I came here for dinner with the BF after seeing the 200+ reviews and overall 4-star rating. We ordered a variety of dishes — garlic naan, aloo gobi, chicken saag, and lentils. Both of us love Indian food and have eaten some really good Indian food in the area, so we were looking forward to trying this 4-star rated Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken saag was the only decent dish. Both the aloo gobi and lentils were flavorless. I always order aloo gobi at Indian restaurants. Jaipur in Fairfax, Bombay Club in DC, and even hole-in-the-wall Dishes of India in Alexandria were all better than this place. Honestly when I tried the aloo gobi, I almost thought we got another dish by mistake; it was so tasteless and unlike aloo gobi. The lentils were also bland. Like I said, only the chicken saag was tasty and I ended up not touching either the aloo gobi or the lentils for the rest of our dinner. A 3.5 for the chicken saag and garlic naan(only dishes that were good), a 2 for the other dishes, and a 4 for service. It was a busy night but they accommodated us fairly quickly and our server was friendly. I feel a little bad for knocking down the rating of this place which clearly a lot of folks like, but I’ve definitely had much, much better Indian food in this area.
