A friend got me hooked on this place — service is good and the drinks are great — I esp like the points card — getting my free drink today as a matter of fact. Takes a bit to get used to the way to order but if you need a boost of energy — add the caffeine — you will be bouncing off the walls in no time!

I love boba tea, or «bubble tea» as I grew up calling it. I always know what I want– peach strawberry with boba. This place caught me off guard. There were SO many options; iced, hot, blended, and lots of add ins. I’m used to pointing at a sticky menu, smiling at people who speak very little English. So, I probably looked a little ridiculous trying to figure out what I wanted. Regardless, what I ordered was tasty, and was exactly what I wanted. I’ll most definitely be back!

Okay, Okay. I admit it, I have not ever been to a Boba Tea Company location. Yes, I realize that I’m not as hipster as I play on TV. Oh well. That being said, my older and wiser friend took me to this location and I actually dug it. I don’t what the décor looks like at other locations, but I really liked it here. Everything was clean, it wasn’t too busy on a Friday morning, and the vibe was excellent. I was a little taken aback by the prices and was a little lost on what all the lingo meant… Flirtea. Naughtea. Nuditea. Hottea doesn’t really explain to me what it all means. But I wanted a hot tea, so I looked in the Hottea section… I guess. I just not be that cool to understand the menu, sorry. Anyway, I was a distracted by all the different flavors which I’m sure are amazing and stuck with the one that said Chai… yep, I recognize that name. It was very yummy and I was glad I came here. I really thought the filtered lids were awesome. A tip would be to ask for a small cup of ice to put into the tea, because there is no way that would have been drinkable within a few minutes.

Upon first inspection the modern yet sparse, colorful décor & clever graphics may lead you to believe that this is a hip, national chain that you missed somehow & it finally made its way into Albuquerque. Think again, this establishment is grass roots born out of the back of a comic shop. It has achieved two mall locations and at least three storefront locations including this one. Drinks and flavors have been added on several occasions throughout its history in addition to bottoms from the traditional boba to the newer gobis and nunus. My personal favorites are the Bliss and their rendition of Thai iced-tea. I specifically note the Bliss for its eloquence in execution: the flavors are subtle and present yet compliment each other perfectly. It is a mixture of loose leaf green tea, vanilla, non-dairy creamer & my personal favorite — longan honey. Longan honey is an amazing honey. It is exquisitely floral and mildly sweet adding a great dynamic to this, my most beloved of hot beverages. And when these things are $ 1 a pop I tend to binge and/or hoard anhydrous versions for later constitution to relish the next few mornings as they are not open early enough to use for an early breakfast. Seriously though hold the drink, after 10 minutes of steeping and cooling, in your mouth and breathe into your mouth and inhale/exhale for the aromatics of the honey. It’s fantastic, really! The staff are hard-working and friendly. They cater to my larger than normal individual orders and requests for dry drinks for later use.
