This place seemed nice and worth the value. But one time, they offered me General tsao chicken and fried rice with a house fly. I asked the manager to prepare another meal. Then they offered me another box, I checked and this another box still has a house fly. I never had guts to go there again, memorable General Tsao chicken with house fly fried rice.

Don’t eat here, its just bad. The idea of «mystery meat» is seriously pushed to the outer limits of health and food regulations; chewy, grey, chunks of what is supposedly chicken.

My go to Chinese take out place, always good prices and always good food. They have a student special for around $ 4.50, you can’t really beat that deal.

Xing Long is run by a family. It seems like that the dad is the main cook, although from time to time he also take orders in addition to the one lady there. At nights/weekends he has his two teenage daughters to help out taking orders. It is entertaining to see how these girls will communicate with you in fluent English, and then seconds later will shout your orders to the kitchen in a loud, convincing, unmistakable Mandarin. Xing Long shares the building with Subway and Dunkin Donuts. There are some tables for eat in, but we always go for a take out. I’m happy that we live in the neighborhood, that way their crunchy fried wonton is still warm when we got home. Plus, they’re the ones who saved us when we’re too lazy to cook, I don’t know for how many times! About the food, it’s a standard Chinese take out food that comes with a good price. They have a $ 5 lunch box that consists of your two choice of meat/vegetables, fried rice, noodle AND a choice of soup or soda. Good bargain! I could never finish this lunch box by myself — the portion is enough for two. My regular order is vegetable chop suey($ 4.25 a pint), General Tso’s chicken, and subgum wonton. For appetizers, the steam dumpling is good. Enjoy!
