Pretty standard Chinese food for a standard price. Service has always been good, and delivery is usually on time.

I ate there Buddha Delight 3 times and I love it. I tried the same menu position in other places and it wasn’t as good as here. I went there today May 28 and the food was good as always but they gave me wrong order. I ordered chicken with vegetables for my family but got pasta with veggies -.-

Really terrible, and I eat Subway and like it. Egg roles were doughy and tasteless. Beef and broccoli was more like steamed wiltyness and slightly fried fat slabs. I mean i still ate it, because I have no taste in food but still…

I was staying in the immediate are of this place without a car; so, my food options were limited. I ordered two orders of fried chicken wings at $ 4.95 each and an order of steamed chicken and veggies at $ 8.25. The wings were teeny; real teeny, but cooked okay. I was told that each order consists of three wings split into two; thus you receive six pieces. I was short– changed by one with one order. As for the steamed medley, I had to search for the chicken. There were traces, but nothing that actually resembled cuts of bird. The veggies were a pleasant surprise — very crip and plentiful. I’m guessing there’s other decent food on the menu. It’s a Chinese take-out — not great and probably not all terrible. What really pissed me off is that the guy behind the counter did’ bother to include napkins and plastic utensils in my bag. Perhaps its a local custom for customers to tend to this task,

Ok for Chinese food. General Tso was like mall chinese. Much better out there. A little overpriced. After a night of partying it might get a 3 star review.

I like to try new places, sometimes despite bad reviews and have been pleasantly surprised at times. Unfortunately this was not one of those times… I ordered a general tso’s chicken dinner combo for pick up, and as warned the chicken was not at all crispy. Upon arrival I did notice that there was a large bin of pre-fried chicken next to the prep area. I was hoping that it was still frozen, awaiting to be fried per order; but as soggy as my chicken was it was obvious that the chicken had been sitting warm and softened before being tossed with whatever sauces were being used per order. Very poor practice. The vegetable lo mein was passable, but the egg roll way to greasy. I will not be returning, and will continue my hunt for good chinese food. Thanks!

I was a frequent customer, but now, never again. I’ve waited an hour and a half for my food. No phone call, not an apology, not a discount, no coupon, nothing. That’s not how you keep a customer. The food isn’t bad. I wish it was spicy when I choose spicy, but it still tastes okay. Well, this time it does. Sometimes it’s fresh and crispy, sometimes it seems a little old and chewy. Lack of consistency. The timing of the food getting is not on the delivery driver. He’s the only one doing the deliveries. With a 3 mile radius in a busy city on a busy road, one driver can’t be going to Manning Blvd then Gipp Road in a timely manner and bring fresh food. They need to bite the bullet and hire another driver. The driver is a kind gentleman and I appreciate his work. But the one in charge needs to pick up the pace.

Food not worth the price. Fast service was the only plus but that’s probably because maybe one other person was in the place.

best Chinese place in albany! They have authentic dishes that are very well made, fresh vegetables and the best quality chicken/beef etc. for a Chinese restaurant. They also have GREAT vegetarian options, sesame chicken can be purchased in a yummy tofu version.

The food is good and typical Chinese takeout joint. Came here with my boyfriend when he was showing me around Albany. I had the beef and broccoli lunch special with pork fried rice and wonton egg drop soup and it was yummy. All in all good restaurant, I would return for some quick Chinese food next time I’m in Albany.

I would normally give four stars because I really just thought this was a typical Chinese take-out place. BUT one day they forgot to deliver fried rice with an order, and when I called they literally showed up at my door five minutes later with the freshest, most delicious rice I have ever tasted in my life. They are now forever my go-to order-out Chinese restaurant. Go Dragon City!!!

Good prices good Chinese food free delivery with reasonably sized orders and they always came to my house in a timely fashion. The food is cooked just the way I like it, generous servings of meat with great sauce and spices. They are one of the only two Chinese restaurants I will order from in the capital region

this was my go to place when I went to Suny Albany my friends. The food is avg the price is cheap if you are a Ualbany student. What do you expect to get for $ 5 bucks come on my friends. plus most the Chinese food we get is pretty much all covered in salt anyways. Can’t hate on it that much, food is avg the Del is quick do not go pick it up the parking lot is small and its very hard to pull out their drive way since is pretty much right next to western Ave. $ 7 you get yourself a meal plus soup.

Let’s start off by saying I have had significantly better Chinese take-out before. This is nowhere near as good as my place back home in Syracuse. But what makes me give this a 4 star review is the price, proportions and service. I am a college student, but that does not mean that I have lower expectations for food. In fact, I am quite the foodie and hold high standards for much of what I eat. The food here basically tastes like food-court Chinese. It’s not exceptional, but it satisfies your hunger for Chinese. It’s on average with other Chinese takeout establishments. Being a SUNY student, they have this deal where you choose your main dish, rice and either a soda or eggroll for $ 5.85 before taxes and tip. By the time we have it delivered, we pay $ 7.50 a person. My one friend is boring and gets the sweet and sour chicken with plain fried rice. She loves it but I feel like plain battered chicken can’t be considered Chinese. But that’s just my own opinion. I’ve ordered both the sesame and general tso chicken before. The chicken usually has a little bit of a crunch, not a lot, but there is always plenty of sauce(which I like to accompian my white rice). The sesame chicken is on the sweeter side with a little bit of a smoked flavor at times. The general tso on the other hand has green peppers and onion mixed in with it, unique for what I’m used to, although it is not spicy whatsoever. The rice varies at this place. Last time I got white rice some of it was undercooked, but I never had that issue the dozen times I had it before. The egg roll is pretty decent, good flavor and crunch, but it can be oily. It’s definitely not something you want to eat on a diet. This has nothing to do with their food but their fortunes can be pretty weird. I got one recently that said«sometimes the beans and the bacon in peace are better than cakes and ale in fear»??? I pride myself on being a fairly intuitive person but I really don’t understand this fortune at all. Every time we order here we have it delivered and the time can vary. We always order on the weekend and, in the past, we have had the delivery time vary from 20 – 60 minutes, but the food always comes warm and the delivery people are pleasant. Overall, if you are looking for a quick cheap Chinese fix, this is the place.

I’ve often said«there is no Chinese food I don’t like.» Well, I found it here in Albany. I ordered chicken rice soup, black bean chicken, pork fried rice and sparerib tips for delivery to my hotel. The delivery guy was nice and appreciated my generous tip. It went downhill from there. Open opening the bag, I found they didn’t put any spoons in the bag, making it hard to eat the soup. Nonetheless, I tried with my fork, but their was more chicken cartilege and then chicken meat. Into the trash went the soup. Eating soup with a fork is not very neat… but there were no napkins sent either. OK…on to the sparerib tips. They were all bone and were flavorless. They quickly joined the soup in the receptacle. Black bean chicken is one of my favorites, so I was still holding out hope… but it quickly faded. Most often this dish has a nice thick sauce over the chicken with whole black beans in the sauce, but not from this place. It was watery and the chicken was nearly white… no beans to be seen. I’m an optomist by nature and I really like pork fried rice. I didn’t think it was possible to mess this up, but theirs is flavorless. Instead of the usual nice chunks of pork, these had small bits of pork. My Diet Pepsi was fine. I’m sorry guys, I won’t order from here again.

Extra Spicy General Tso– likely a popular item so probably batch made– was soggy, and was definitely not spicy at all. Hot and sour soup– OK crispy noodles freshly fried was good Beef lo mein– big pieces of beef, what you should come to expect from take-out, very enjoyable and packed to the brim. Definitely did the trick after a long day snowboarding and will likely serve me well for a hangover which may or may not be in store in the near future.

The reviews made me really exciting to try this place. What a disappointment. Egg rolls were bland, hot and sour soup was bland, general tso was soggy and bland, the peppered steak was awful and could hardly be called steak, and the crab rangoons were okay. The Singapore rice noodle was the only thing I really enjoyed but even that had minimal meat. Another 30 dollars spent on food that was not worth it. I could have made myself a nice steak dinner that was a hundred times better for the same price.

Great food for the price, cooked to order but quickly. Really nice people too, family owned, I enjoy giving them my money. Wide variety on the menu, from the inexpensive dishes to the more elaborate ones, good quality all around.

My favorite Chinese takeout in Albany. They have great crab rangoons, the staff is really nice and friendly, and the dishes are pretty good… I really like that they include a wonderful array of mixed vegetables with the protein of your choice. Even the fried rice has a nice smokey wok flavor to it.

This was good take-out Chinese food. I had Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables and was pleased that the shrimp were large and cooked to perfection! I expected tiny shrimp for the price — why I ordered it with that expectation I don’t know. My daughter’s Beef Lo Mein had a lot of beef, and she liked it, but I thought it was a little too heavy on the oil. My husband had the Jalapeño Chicken which was small strips of chicken coated in a light, sweet batter and deep fried. It was served with a sprinkling of fried fresh jalapeños. Spicy and good. One thing I must mention is that it’s not a sit-down restaurant, not really. We didn’t know that and walked there from our hotel(also not recommended — no sidewalks). It had two tables but zero ambiance and it was HOT inside. But still ok because it’s not like they advertised that they were this beautiful place and then it was a dump.
