Days might be limited for this BK. That said, we love the fun paper crowns. Vanilla soft serve is always a winner, as is free Wi-Fi. I love the large«lifestyle» panel of four twentysomethings from varied backgrounds, all wearing Banana Republic or J. Crew, smiling over Whoppers or whatever. What a fun way to bond!

I went to alameda today to pick up my girlfriend and take her out to a non expensive but delicious lunch. As we drove down Webster st looking for a restaurant with adequate quality food I spot the burger king to the right. We both agree to eat there, I mean, who doesn’t like a famous whopper. Anyway, my girlfriend orders the bk spicy big fish sandwich combo while I order the spicy BLT whopper with extra pickles. We really enjoyed our sandwiches but the fries they give us are covered in black speckles of burnt stuff from the grease in the fryer it was completely unappetizing and I had to go up to show the cashier the nasty looking fries, anyway other than that it was alright

This location Webster St Alameda and most Burger King customer service are the untrained. Never a thank you nor eye contacts when they give out the orders especially at drive through.

Hella rude. Ordering my food and in the middle of ordering she walks off. She said, I have a car, and asks the manager to finish. Really? Like she had a problem because I corrected her making my order wrong! Bad service…

We ordered the 2 for $ 5 Big Fish. My daughter likes this store because there is more ‘sauce’ in the sandwich.

We’ve eaten here a number of times. It’s better than McDonalds. The last time they had several errors with the order. The kicker was finding a piece of plastic in my sandwich. That will make us think twice before returning.

this Burger King lacks transparency on what in 2/$ 5 offer. the happy hour menu, 2 – 5,. wasn’t readily visible upon casual perusal on the main front board. sure, it’s touted on the front windows. nada inside. bait and switch?. eats: fried onion rings(HH1) usually 2.29 –greasy, bready, not well cooked. yuck! take outs: –employees friendly, food is crap.

I had a coupon(expiring March 2, 2014) for 2 whopper jr. sandwiches and 2 small classic fries for $ 3.99. I might as well as take a walk up Webster Street to take advantage of the offer. Compared to the Burger King in Downtown Oakland and the one in the Civic Center area of San Francisco, this one is cleaner and quieter. One does not see the riff raffs, and the poor and homeless. There’s no drama and actually there was hardly anybody here except for a few teenagers waiting on their food. It has been quite a while(over 10 years) since I ate at this Burger King and/or ordered anything from them. To my surprise, they even had Happy Hour… wow…can you believe that? Their Happy Hour is from 2:00 to 5:00PM with certain items going for $ 1.00(4 pc. chicken nuggets, medium fries, medium onion rings, dutch apple pie and medium drink). I don’t have that gargantuan appetite that I had some 30 years ago to inhale a whopper, a large order of French fries, a large soda and an apple pie. The whopper jr. was the perfect sized hamburger for me. The pattie was pink(medium rare; not juicy) with the right amount of lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo. The fries weren’t that bad. I had a tasty little meal; I should have ordered the apple pie because I was there during the Happy Hour. I guess there will be a next time.

The worst service of any fast food place ever. Always have to wait for a long time to order even with nobody in restaurant. They always try to charge me for things I don’t order. Gave my friend a discount then wouldn’t honor my same discount. Constantly give me wrong order. I hate this place but is closest to me.

I went this weekend because of the $ 1 frozen lemonade promotion they were having. I went inside and asked which sizes were for $ 1 and the cashier said all sizes. I was amazed and went ahead and ordered a medium and other food items. Later as I went home and read the receipt, it said that I had spent $ 3.09 on the frozen drink even though the cashier told me that all sizes were $ 1. I didn’t think it was right for the cashier to tell me to my face that any size was $ 1(even after I commented on how great it was that all sizes were $ 1) to charge me $ 3 and not even tell me as it rang up on the register. I went back the next day and another lady worker apologized and gave me my money back and told me that for future references they would never advertise a promotion for any size bigger than a small. The next day, I went back hoping to order another $ 1 frozen lemonade because I thought they were good for the $ 1 price. This time I went through the drive thru. I made sure to ask if the promotion was still going on and ordered my frozen strawberry lemonade along with some fries. The foreign lady read me back my order(since their drive thru screen doesn’t work any more) and I corrected her saying I wanted strawberry not the plain lemonade flavor. I get my order and drive home to find out that she gave me the strawberry banana smoothie instead of the frozen strawberry lemonade I ordered. Needless to say, this Burger King sucks and customer service isn’t all that great. I used to come here a lot as a kid and it never used to be like this. I’m assuming they must have gotten new owners that don’t care as much.

Its 900pm, Im the only car in drive-thru, I wait 5 mins… no one takes my order. Are they closed? I see someone in the booth waving and laughing. I go up there and she says Im pass the speaker and can’t order. Then she stands there pointing at me and laughing. Who the heck is running this BK? I went to another place Here’s a tip: No customers= no business = no profits…

THEKINGISALIVE! Is it the buns or that hunk of juicy meat? I don’t know what it is. Some credit the shakes, but I think it’s the sultry look… Ahhh I miss Elvis Presley –The King or as the hip kids say«da King»(street lingo). As for Burger King(BK), let’s start off with the obvious. Burger King is a fast food restaurant. People don’t come here for fine dining. People counting calories don’t come here. People that take pictures of their food don’t do it here. Burger King will never present an edgy fusion dish or be called«the next best thing». No one will ever name their kid, «El Whopper»(dibs on the name) in its honor. Nope. Burger King isn’t many things. However(dramatic long pause), don’t piss on me and tell me it’s raining. Last year Burger King reported a revenue stream of 1.97 Billion dollars. That some serious scrilla(money). Someone has to be eating at Burger King, right? Unless you think it’s a Ponzi scheme, do you? I’ll add it to my folder on conspiracy theories. Anyways, Burger King does have je né sais quoi quality. It’s like looking at the Mona Lisa. The woman in the painting is fairly hideous, but I can’t look away. I imagine Scarlett Johansson, but then I remember that’s not Mona Lisa, that’s ‘The Girl with the Pearl Earring’ duh. Then I can only think of Scarlett Johansson… So why do I come here? For its convenience and my body’s demand for salt, sugar and grease(building block of a healthy person). I come here because I like their Chicken Sandwich and their Whopper. I do it knowing I will no longer be able have babies, see 20⁄20 or learn the lyrics to ‘bohemian rhapsody’. Those things may matter to people, but I see it as a small price to pay for the convenience of a drive-thru and a smiling representative. In all honesty this Burger King does its job. They serve fast food in a short amount of time and they do it well. In order to make sure the transition goes well I follow illegal drug protocol. I avoid direct eye contact, pay with cash, say ‘please’ when I place an order, and ‘thank you’ when I leave. Simple, no one get hurt and everyone is happy.

This is the worst burger king ever. I go back once a year hoping that it has become better or there is new management. It has always been the same experience at this Burger King for me. Last night I went to pick up some quick food for my husband(he has craving a BK stacker), went there; they first inputted my order wrong, so I was shorted by a BK stacker. Then I have to wait for them to amke me another, while the staff is joking around, cursing at one another, and in no way being professional(it has been like this in the last 5 years). Then I get home(3 blocks away), just to find that the meat patty ont he whopper(not the bk stacker), was old and try from sitting out too long. The fries were already stale and cold. It was obvious that the did not empty out there old fries or there old meat patties, they just served it until it was gone! I could not even eat it. Long story short, I worked for BK in Sacramento in my younger years, and it was a million times better than this one. Employees were actually concerned with what they were serving to their customers. This place should bebought out by an IN-N-Out or a better burger joint.

Just went there to get a hamburger and asked for a sesame free bun due to an allergy. I was told I would need to pay extra. I reluctantly said, «okay.» Got home to find a double sided sesame full bun. I tried to call the manager, but only got a full voicemail only, with no option to leave a message. What has happened to restaurant service these days?

I usually don’t post about fast food places… But this one really needs help! My husband asked for a marinara chicken sandwich. He got the chicken & the bun… He asked for *extra sauce*… He got a stain of sauce on the top bun & that was all. Asked for warmed sauce after he got his food… Stuff felt as if it was *just* defrosted! The staff were anything *but* attentive. Definitely never going back again there!

Usually, when you go to a fast food restaurant, your not expecting good customer service. This particular Burger King has nice people working there, though & that’s a huge plus.

Well, I was disappointed. I have driven by this place for many years just never used it.(The King on E.12 th is more convenient for me.) Anyway I had coupon buy one get one free. The place was clean a bit busy had a few manager types hanging around. The cashier was very nice. I had a Whopper made my way and a fish sandwich too. The sandwiches was done correctly according to my specification. My only problem was I was the only client in line.(I expect to wait for a fish order.) The size and price of the fish was cheaper than Mc Dee and Jacks.too. BUT… It only takes me 5 – 6 minutes to get home. Well the problem is the order was COLD. not ice cold but room temperature. And from 30 years experience of fast food this is not good. Food does not get cold that fast unless its winter and in the 20 degrees. It was a Sunny 70 or so temp out side. Anyway when I go back for a second try I will point this problem out. I have more coupons.
