Why oh why must places switch locations? The old snuffers was old, yes. But it had personality, lots of Windows and a cute little patio. Since the switch, they are now in what reminds me of a very sad cafeteria. Only windows are in the very front, rest of the building is bland and boring. White walls, couple tvs and just blah. Food has always been consistent, wish they had more specials and more menu options. Service is always great and friendly which always speaks for something.

Great customer service and the food was ok but the clientele is questionable… my wife’s Drivers license was stolen within minutes of being there and the manager was very defensive and uncooperative. They were also very strict on drink orders(you can not order a mixed drink and a shot at the same time) and do not accept out of state drivers licenses. The food is not good enough to come here just for food and they are too weird about alcohol…

The service we received from Summer was wonderful. There was two people in my party and let me just say in the beginning the crowd was a little questionable. I will return since the lunch specials are priced just right. Ask for Summer for great service.

I have been a fan for years. Service is good and food is normally edible. This week we tried the cheese fries again and they came cold but ate a couple anyway as was really hungry. Suggest ordering food with no salt as they always do overkill on it. Chicken strips were cold as well and had a couple to wash down the Revolver! Burger was tasty with no salt mix on it! Likely my last trip as $ 9+ lunch items have to be perfect in Addison! Always a crowd of mostly LARGEPATRONS — so guess I played unlucky at lunch — as they seem vey busy and was Friday!

Always a great meeting place for my friends and I! If it’s a special occasion or just a casual hangout Snuffers is the way to go! Those bacon cheese fries are to die for!

Loved my visit here! Summer did a great job being patient with my party and serving us well. Summer, you have created a residual customer! Our food was good, we got prompt attention from our sever, and the cheddar fries were as good as I remember from a snuffers that I have visited as a kid, in Rockwall, TX. I hope that your experience here would be the same, at least, and that you try the cheddar fries if you haven’t already, and your diet allows lol. Thank you Snuffer’s & Summer for the dining experience! Best, Charles

Fast service during lunch. Sat at the bar and ordered a burger, fries and fried mushrooms. Absolutely tasty burger, fries were crispy and seasoned and the mushrooms with the horseradish were the bomb. Absolutely enjoyed it. Very clean place!

The burgers at snuffers are perfect! I’ve had it twice; once the bacon bleu burger and the chilli cheese burger and both of them were nicely made and cooked. The burgers go well together and isn’t randomly put together! Another must is the cheddar cheese with bacon and jalapeños! It is garunteed to be the best and the waitresses are nice and give you great suggestions!

Ok, I admit, I’m biased. I’ve been a loyal fan of Snuffer’s ever since I discovered it in Dallas back in the 80’s after I had first moved to the Metroplex. Even though I’m now no longer in the Metroplex, my wife and I still make a point of going back every chance we get. Which is why we were dismayed to find Snuffer’s gone from it’s Midway location and an empty building. How glad we were to find out from my brother-in-law that Snuffer’s wasn’t gone, just relocated a block down the road and around the corner on Belt Line. We met my wife’s brother and S.O. there on our most recent trip to Addison for dinner. My brother in law, who has dietary restrictions, limited himself to a salad, but even that he was happy with. He did indulge a bit in the fried mushrooms(which is one of the biggest reasons we are Snuffer’s fans — the mushrooms are to DIEFOR, people!) The burgers are so large that my wife and i can easily split one — and do, so that we can indulge in some of the sides like loaded cheese fries and the aforementioned fried mushrooms. The décor is simple — it’s actually not quite as warm as the old place was but who goes to Snuffer’s for décor? The new location is where the old Duke’s Roadhouse was(never went there so that’s just what I’ve heard) so I imagine it will start looking more like Snuffer’s after they settle in a bit more. It doesn’t matter — I’m just thrilled they’re still in Addison.

You know when you go to snuffer’s you have GOT to get the cheese fries! Topped with cheese, bacon, green onions and jalapeños! I do recommend to eat it while it’s hot because if you take your sweet time, it will just be soggy cold fries that aren’t very appetizing: p but i give this 5 stars because they’re service is great, food is great, and I consider it reasonable! I always only get the cheese fries when I go lol but I’d love to try the different menus sometime! Thank you!

Wow so it’s been 5yrs well now at the new location which was where dukes roadhouse used to be, glad to see their service and food ate still up to par … They’re really busy around lunch time I got the cheese burger this time and cheese fries both are good portion and fresh but I’m now spoiled by hopdoddys but this place still hold strong with a solid 4 stars as they have great service and a good list of local draft beers!

The burger at Snuffer’s is highly rated in D Magazine, so I had to try it. I got a Classic with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. You have a choice of doneness and I got«medium». It had a great flavor and I was happy the lettuce was chopped and neatly place on the burger with everything else. I’m a fan of the poppy seed bun too. I put ketchup on my burger, but that was probably a mistake since it got messy. I’m going to use the dip-from-plate option from now on. FYI, the sweet potato fries are actually sweet potato«bites». They were ok, but I think fries would have been better. [Stop #8 in The Great DFW Burger Quest]

I like this place because you have a lot of options. They have a lot of beers on tap which is what i didn’t expect. They also have good burgers and fries. I like this place because you have a lot of options. It’s nice to have options.

So I’ve heard so much about Snuffers and their fries ! We kinda went here on a whim because we were starving . So, the wait was kind of long to even get acknowledged once we were seated. Okay, I let that go. We got our menus and I ordered the Sirloin strips with fries. My friend ordered the chili cheese fries. My strips were great and tender. My friend’s fries were sub par to me. Very bland fries. They definitely needed the chili cheese. You do get a huge portion however . I think they have great prices for the portions, so I give them a star just for that, but just didn’t wow me. Not bad at all though . Once we had service, we had good service. This is definitely a good spot for watching football or other sports. It’s also good for people watching if you’re in to that.

This place had good reviews on Unilocal,so lunch it was. All the pictures of the loaded cheese fries, we had to try them. That was a good idea! The fries were great, but a large is too much for 2 people if you want room left for your meal. I tried the green chili burger while Justin did the fried jalapeño burger. Both were great and I would order them again, but the really soft bun got kinda messy towards the end of the burger. Will definitely try this place again.

Good food… nothing spectacular. I got a burger, hubby got a chicken wrap. We split the cheese fries. Well the fries were pretty darn good! They don’t skimp on toppings at all! We had a stay-cation in Addison… this joint was half a block away. Even though our food was to go… the SERVICEWASEXCELLENT. It mightve been because im 41 weeks pregnant and was waddling in there. I was greeted at the door by two females, walked to the bar and the bartender took care of me in 2 minutes! Awesome multi-tasker! I NEVERTIPONTOGOORDERSBUT I TIPPEDBECAUSEHEWASSOAWESOME! Like I said earlier… food is good… I will probably be back but the service on a busy Sunday night was stellar!

Snuffers is one of my al time favorite burger places, you cannot go wrong here. From their delicious cheese fries & mushrooms, to their wraps, chicken and of course their burgers. I had been a vegetarian for a little but and this was my all time favorite place to come and get a «burger».” They have a new location right where Dukes use to be, it’s very nice. I have only been once and it is a different feel than the original Addison one but I like it. They have a HUGE bar which also is great for Addison.

Came on a Monday night and sat by the window. There isn’t a hostess stand, you just sit wherever you want and a waitress will come serve you, menus are provided at the table. I ordered the bacon guacamole burger and a single side of cheddar fries. The burger was good, the patty was juicy but it didn’t really wow me. Honestly I’m rarely ever impressed by a burger. I’m also not a fan of places that put chopped lettuce in their buggers because it often falls out of the burger and creates a mess. The fries were alright, I’m pretty sure there was a 1:1 ratio of cheese to fries, which is never a bad thing. Service is great, I sat in a corner and did not feel neglected, my waitress checked on me often and kept my water glass full. The restrooms were super clean.

The Vibe: Addison lunch-time loud. Music played in the background, but it just half blended in with the noise. It was very crowded on a Friday at noon. Service: was very slow due to the crowd, but it was professional and they did give us a gift card for our next burger. The Burger: It was OK — lots of black poppy seed, patty a tad past the requested medium, but lettuce, onion, and tomato on a mushroom & swiss burger? Was that on purpose? Bacon Cheese Fries: Still about the best in Dallas County. WIGB: Maybe for more bacon cheese fries between 3:00 and 7:00PM when all drinks are $ 1.00 off, oh, and I guess I need to use that gift card. .
