I really wish you could give half-stars on Unilocal, cause I would give this place a 3.5, oh well. Anywho, I had never heard of amazing things about Fuddruckers, but after a lunch date with co-workers I was oh-so-pleased and oh-so-full. The pricing is not terrible by any means. For a good burger, fries, and drink it cost me $ 10. That is a pretty good deal – I did stick to a basic burger, nothing added on so then it can start to get pricey. I absolutely love it that there is a toppings bar – best idea ever. I like to have a variety of options and making my burger just the way I want it. AND You know you have gotten a little piece of magic when you don’t have to pay extra for cheese fries. Food came out pretty fast for a busy lunch time and everything was just delicious. I guess my only complaint is that the menu isn’t very big, but then, this is a place to get a burger.

It’s not the best burger in the area or anything, but Fuddrucker’s is a solid place to go for a solid burger. I’d give it 3.5 stars. This one does seem a bit more run down than the Schaumburg one, but it’s also in sort of a weird spot. Still, the food is pretty darn good. For those unaware of Fuddrucker’s, they specialize in burgers of various large sizes. You can add cheese, sauteed onions, mushrooms, maybe another topping or two for a surcharge. Tip: Don’t get cheese. Because after you get your piping-hot cooked-to-order burger, you get to visit the toppings bar. Which not only has all the veggies you could want, including pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, pico de gallo, jalapenos and more, it also has giant pumps of ketchup, mustard, mayo, and cheddar and jalapeño CHEESE. gooey warm cheese sauce. Great for burgers, fries, nachos, onion rings, etc. Oh, sure, having a slice of real melted cheese on your burger is nice, but you can save yourself a buck — or get grilled onions instead — and use the lovely warm gooey cheese sauce. The fries aren’t bad either. :) EDIT: CLOSED. Not sure when, but it is most definitely not open anymore. Oh well.

I used to work for Fuddruckers as a manager. I could not beleive when we went here how much they let this place go downhill! It’s dirty and they didn’t bother to do anything with the bar after they closed it down. Just through up a big curtain and let the employees throw trash and drink cups behind it. What a way to get pests! The food was cold, old and the employees were playing on the intercom with a manager. Very unprofessional and annoying while you are trying to enjoy your meal.

I used to appreciate Fuddruckers when the Downer’s Grove location first opened. Then when they opened one in my home town(this one) I thought it was even better. Then, I got a grill and realized that it was just like going to someone’s house for a burger — someone with a very large kitchen or grill, but still. So, let me sum this up, let me stand in a long line to order my food, wait forever for you to call me back to get my food, stand in another line behind fat, slow people to put things on my food myself — and dont’ forget that people’s gross children are pumping sauce everywhere and/or touching all the«fresh» produce”, stand in a separate line if I want a shake or dessert, and pay you for the lovely experience? There’s no Kobe beef here, it’s probably choice at best, so why pay the price for this? I’ll pass.

I cannot believe I never Unilocaled this place! I was just reading someone’s review of a burger somewhere and it hit me that I love Fuddrucker’s burgers and I want everyone to know it! You walk in here(there are three locations in the suburbs, Addison, Downers Grove and Schaumburg… this one being my favorite) and you place your order and pay first and then after you get your drink and sit down for a bit, your buzzer goes off and you get to go pick up your delicious, perfectly cooked burger and head to the toppings bar! They have everything from pico de gallo to your regular pickles, lettuce, onion and tomatoes. They also have a «pumps» station with mayo, ketchup, bbq sauce, mustard and two different kinds of cheese sauce(jalapeño and regular). My perfect burger toppings are(and this goes for when I order their Cajun chicken breast, too, DELICIOUS) ketchup, mayo, pico de gallo and regular cheese sauce. YUMMMMMMM! And then of course I get like 27 cups of cheese to dip my frings in(fries and onion rings mixed)! I think the key to the success here is not only the fresh meat they use but the OUTOFTHISWORLD freshly baked buns that they put that fresh meat in! They are made on site daily and are absolutely delicious! And when they serve it to you they put a bit of oil on it and toast it on the griddle so the edges get crispy and delicious! I really can’t say anything bad about this place! The food comes fast, you serve yourself as many cups of whatever drink you like as many times as you like and you can eat cheese sauce until it comes out your ears! Sounds like a perfect meal for me! =]] **Also, since they have an in-house bakery to make their rolls, they figured why not bake some amazing cookies and brownies, too, for dessert. All of which are very good! And they also make a killer Rice Krispie treat! Marshmallowlicious!!!** ***Kids get a free cookie with their meals!***

Service is great here, clean, not overly busy during the weekdays for lunch. I love everything, the burgers are the best, and my latest craving there has been their turkey burger with fresh guacamole on a whole wheat buttery bun. YUM! You get so full from the burgers it’s hard to put down anything else. If you have a burger craving, this is the place! Sorry cannot speak about the salads, just can’t get pass the burger menu here.

I find this Fudruckers location the best. I think the food and service is a lot better than its other locations. This restaurant has a great patio to enjoy your meal on in the summer time.
