Chipotle Mexican Grill

I love Chipotle so this review has nothing to do with the food. I eat here a lot for lunch. I have either my husband go or I go myself to pick up food. However I have had many issues with the employees at this location. The customer service is pretty poor. It is unfortunate, but at least the food is still good.

It’s Chipotle. I love Chipotle. It’s pretty much the same as any other Chipotle. However, this particular branch is not the greatest. I tend to come here often cuz it’s close to work for lunch. However, I noticed that they almost always skimp on the meat. I order the carnitas burrito bowl. In this location, they mound on the rice until the bowl is almost full. They then just sprinkle meat on. Usually not even a full scoop. All other locations tend to give me twice the amount of meat than this location.
This visit, they messed up even farther. I was the first customer of the morning. They took the covers off the meats, and they were clearly leftovers from the previous day. The pork was darkened and dry, obviously she’d like bad leftovers. And there was only a tiny but left. Then the server skimped on the cheese to make matters worse.
I’ve finally given up on coming to the Addison location. Never again.

I love Chipotle in general, but the employees at this location are rude and stingy with the good stuff. That’s right, stingy in a Chipotle! If I’m going to pay $ 12 for a Burrito Bowl with extra meat it better be packed, and not with beans and rice… the cheapest ingredients!
Called to complain to manager, and they didn’t even care!

Not sure if bc I’m a regular here but the attitude from a certain employee is disrespectful towards customers. Oh and super stingy on meat even when ask for double. I’d go to another one but this is the closest. Unfortunately I love chipotle but can’t stand some employees here.

Absolutely love the cleanliness of this chipotle. I’ve been to several chipotle restaurants in my life but this by far has had the best experience. The food line was clean the staff was pleasant and my burrito was terrific. Great job !

I just ordered a salad from this location, brought it back to work and started eating it and found a small dead fly in the lettuce. DISGUSTING! I called and spoke with a manager and instead of offering me my money back, he wanted me to come back and have my meal replaced! NO THANK YOU! I will never be eating at this location or any other again! The health department should be called on them!

Undercooked chicken in my burrito bowl. This is the second time in less than 6 months. The employees are nice but the food isn’t safe.

I love chipotle, but this one is terrible. So stingy on the amount they give you and when you ask for more they try to pass it on to the next person so you can’t get more. So rude. The staff is very unfriendly.
The only reason I go to this one is because it is close to my work.

This is the Chipotle I most frequent. Good thing too, ’cause they’re speedy, friendly and patient, generous with the fillings, and clean.
I know its a (former McD’s) chain, but their tortilla chips are the best: thin, lightly salted, hint of lime. And the guac?! Don’t even get me started. Total love.

Absolutely horrible. I went and got a burrito bowl and chips with my boyfriend lastnight. I found two pieces of long black hair in my food, so o stopped eating and About 1 hour after eating my stomach started to really hurt. So I went home. 5 minutes after I got home I stated to throw up. From 11pm-​9am this morning I was in the bathroom EVERY HALF HOUR, throwing up. Once I started to have more time frame in between throwing up I was able to get sleep. Now I’m dealing with it coming out of the other end. And i barely ate at all. HORRIBLE place to go!

Always great food with great service! I usually get a salad with black beans, salsa and guacamole and yum! Everything is fresh and delicious! I work in the area so I stop in a few times a month.

Full disclosure: This was only my second time ever going to a Chipotle. That said, this location was extremely efficient. Like, I was in and out with my food in probably less than 90 seconds, no joke. At noon! They were really nice though, even asked if I was having a nice day. And the place was clean. As far as the food? It was good. But I have decided I’m just not that into it. I got the shredded beef rice bowl with toppings, including guac. Again, good. But it seemed bland to me. Like, the guacamole just tasted so bland. And the beef didn’t have much flavor besides salt. I guess I just don’t «get» Chipotle. But I digress. If you do like Chipotle, this place is a good bet. I probably won’t be back.

The best service from any Chipotle! The staff are so friendly and always smiling. They give you plenty of everything you ask for, some other locations can be a bit skimpy. This is my son’s favorite place to eat and this is the best by far!
The last few times we went it wasn’t as good. My chicken was cold and tasted fishy.

Online ordering! That is why I ended up at this Chipotle this week. My poor husband has been working seven days a week at up to eighteen hours a day. The man was hungry. I get an hour for lunch and I wanted to eat too. So, I ordered from Chipotle online, scheduled my pickup time and crossed my fingers.
I arrived at the appointed time and found a parking spot right in front of the door. I ran in and straight to the cashier as directed. I noticed that this location seems to have a but less seating than other locations I’ve been to, but this won’t deter me from visiting again as I have never actually dined inside a Chipotle location. It transports well, so I always eat it somewhere else. Anyhow, I showed the cashier my ID, another gentleman grabbed my bagged order from an under the counter warming area and I was gone. Yep, amazingly fast and easy. The order was paid for online, they offered a receipt at the counter and I could t have been happier. Truth be told, I was happier. Ten minutes later when we opened up our food and it was exactly as ordered!
Plus, I received a phone call that afternoon directly from the store inquiring about my experience. Two thumbs up, Chipotle! You made my marathon lunch hour quite easy.

This is a super Chipotle. I base this on a few things.
The employees were all smiling and all friendly and pleasant. No stress here.
The place was clean. Really, really clean. And I was not the first person there by a long shot.
The food was actually at the right temp. The chicken (had a chicken burrito bowl) was hot, the tomatoes’ were room temp (not frozen like they often are at other Chipotles), the green sauce was the perfect heat.
Easy parking. Next to Walmart and SAMs club. Difficult to get into the parking lot because of the construction on the roads around here.
4 stars, would be 5 if it was a mom and pop.

Why is this Chipotle different than others? Service! The menu and food is pretty straightforward. You know the choices, the portion sizes, and quality. The difference here is the staff and service. They are always smiling considering this location is not the most convenient to get in and out of relative to the construction on the roads as well as timing of lights nearby.
I was recently part of a catering order and they were great! All of the items came clearly marked, they provided plenty of plates, napkins, utensils, chafing dishes, and the value was phenomenal. They really want to be part of the local community rather than just being the local branch. It seems easy to forget about them when you might stop by occasionally for a meal but they do a great job. Overall, a place I would definitely recommend for a meal for one or for 100.

This is brand-​spanking new so I decided to check it out after work one day. The location itself is pretty spacious and has ample seating. Here is a totally random observation but the doors here stink. They are so heavy and awkward. Even when I was leaving, another customer commented about the doors being too heavy and hard to open.
Now, I am not sure if something has changed in Chipotles’ standards but I ordered a steak fajita burrito and the steak they tried to serve was still bloody. The steak was being cooked fresh and they said they cooked it «medium» and if that was OK with me. I’d rather not eat bloody meat so I said I would just have chicken instead. They offered to cook it a bit longer for me if I didn’t mind waiting. I was also offered a free drink since I had to wait. Also, I don’t get why they ask what type of beans I want. It is a fajita burrito (where you have the veggies in lieu of beans)…maybe something has changed where they offer beans on this type of burrito now?
The burrito was still tasty and I appreciated the free drink for my wait.

This location is brand-​spanking new. It’s quite clean and modern, but like all Chipotles, never seems to have enough seating. We went for a late lunch on a weekend, but I imagine weekdays are fairly crowded here.
I got a salad, which was prepared exactly as specified. However, do they get commission based on how many people take the vinaigrette dressing? Both my husband and I were asked several times if we wanted it. When we politely declined, the burrito artist insisted «It’s really very good.» I’m sure it is, buddy, but it’s so calorie laden that it defeats the purpose of getting a salad instead of a burrito bowl.
At least they’re friendly, though.

I am a loyal patron of Chipotle and this location is the newest in this area. It’s trendy and clean. The staff members are always friendly.
I typically get either a steak salad or chicken bowl. The salad dressing is amazing. I know a fellow Unilocaler complained about her steak, but I’ve enjoyed my steak at this location too.
Tonight, I ordered a bowl with brown rice. They offered me a free beverage while I waited two minutes for brown rice. They threw out the scoop left. When checking out, the cashier apologized for the wait. My thought was what wait? I fixed my free drink and the rice appeared. Either way, the service rocks.
