30 min ticket times on the 3 visits I made there. There were six cooks on duty. Judging from the window, I’d say they make one order at a time. This restaurant is in bad need of renovation, it hasn’t changed in the 9 years I’ve lived here. The owner hasn’t seen fit to even buy serving trays; the hard working waitresses have to balance several plates on their arms. Hash browns are nasty, toast was stone cold. Bacon and eggs came out good. But sadly, the Waitresses had to go around the room apologizing for the wait.

i LOOOOVE the breakfast at Bic’s. Their beer biscuits are second to none. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even asked how I like my bacon, crispy/extra crispy/soft etc. Any restaurant that cares enough to ask how I like my bacon is a step above the rest in my book. The food comes out slow, but is to die for &100% worth the wait. I have never left unhappy, usually I am miserably full and looking forward to a nap. I recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a good breakfast joint. I cant say enough good things about this place.

I usually eat breakfast at home with the kids but occasionally I have to eat out. When I do, Bic’s is the place for me. Their breakfast special is super tasty and surprisingly cheap. Includes 2 eggs, pancakes or toast, ham, bacon or sausage, hash browns and Coffee for $ 6.99. The quality of the food is really good and the waitresses are super. Lots of locals and regulars chatting. Even though I only dine there occasionally, they always remember my regular order. I’ve tried all the breakfast spots in and around Addison and Bic’s can’t be beat.

Service is great and food is just as great. The menu has so many options. Best pancakes around and I don’t even like pancakes that much.

I went around 1pm on Sunday. I really wanted breakfast from a non chain restaurant and I found this place driving around. Walked in and had to ask whether I seat myself or not. That’s one of my pet peeves, I think that should be obvious. In case that happens to you… Seat yourself. Atmosphere is real friendly. Waitresses were smiling and chatting with everyone. This place has a real diner feel to it. Menu is daunting at first. I got a California style eggs Benedict with a side of bacon and hash Browns. It was OK. I probably wouldn’t get it again. Everything could use salt, but that’s a matter of personal preference and I didn’t mind putting it on myself. Everything tasted fresh with the exception of the hash Browns which were a bit cold. My daughter had the chicken strips and French fries. Great size for a kids menu. Overall we paid 20.00. So nice and cheap. I will be back to try something else.

I’m generally pretty picky when it comes to chicken fried steaks, but the one I had here at Bic’s I’d give it a 8.3÷10. It was very delicious, and the portion was ridiculously huge! I gladly devoured it all. Definitely would go back in the near future.

3.5 rating. It’s a neighborhood breakfast/lunch place so don’t expect a gourmet meal. I had the corned beef hash which was I thought a little over fried. My daughter had an omelette which she said was just so-so. The meal came in a timely manner and the service is average.

This place is great, what you think of when you say American dinner. The ladies were friendly, quick service and an enormouse menu…

I liked that the peach cobbler had real flavor, not just the canned type of peaches. Also the meat loaf was just great! Also the mashed potatoes and carrots. DELICIOUS!

Quick and cheap for lunch! I love that this not a chain first of all which hard to find in Addison! Support local restaurants:) I had the chicken fried chicken with a side salad and fried zucchini — it was delicious!!! The side salad wasn’t very good though I’d go with a mother side in the future.

Not only was the restaurant filthy, but so were two of the four waitresses on duty, including ours, as well as two of the kitchen staff who were visible. Our waitress was beyond coarse and had no sense of personal space or boundaries. Needless to say, this alone made for a very unpleasant visit! Regarding food, we went during the 9:00 hour for breakfast. The coffee tasted stale, my water glass was dirty, there was something not quite right about the taste of the gravy or the eggs, and we started feeling sick during our meal. We have felt poorly all day, including having two major stomach issues soon after we got home. Also while we were there, the Health Inspector came in to inspect and see receipts for proof of their pest control treatments. Ew! This was our second visit, the first a month or two ago, which was pleasant and quite tasty; however, after today, we will never go back!

Its a good, tasty, clean american diner. Service is fast, food is nice and with all the tasty calorie contents it should have. Waiters are helpful and nice. Its a consistent place to go for brunch.

Everybody should have a good local diner to grab breakfast and a good honest cup of joe. Starbucks is good for the go go crowd but give me an old fashioned blue collar diner with a seasoned staff of hardworking waitresses any day. Bic’s fits the bill. You have some ladies that look like they have seen it all before serving up big plates of breakfast goodness. They are quick to call you honey and sweetie and it feels genuine. Food is always fresh and simple. Something you might have had at grandma’s on a Saturday morning. I love to have a cheat meal of egg white omelets and chili. Healthy and yummie. Prices are reasonable too. My whole tab runs about the same as a venti caramel mocha skinny vegan whatchamacallit at the place down the street. Oh they have good lunches too.

My gf and I just stopped by for breakfast, and it was amazing, the pancakes were massive and delicious, the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, not to overdone not too runny, the migas was as good as a migas can be. Definitely try this place

Are there half stars? I really want to give this 3.5 stars. I got the eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I also got a side of French toast with strawberry and I have no complaints. The main thing that gets me about this place was the drama between waitresses and cooks. They’ve got to figure that shit out. Lots of options, free wifi and tons of seating. Try em out!

Bics is open breakfast to lunch. Some may consider it a dive, but it’s a local /Southern type diner. Going in with that, you can enjoy it. Cool photos of airplanes on the walls. The staff was friendly, taking people at their tables as part of their family. We got the Benedict Omelet. It came with a HUGE Omelet. 2 Great big biscuits with lots of cream gravy. I got the Fluff, Cluck and Oink. The pancakes were HUGE, fluffy and tasty. As Kent T said, way better than IHOP could make. It came with tasty eggs, and I picked sausage patties and they were excellent as well… We wound up taking up home some of the omelet, a sausage patty and most of the two pancakes! All of which was fabulous reheated later! This place is absolutely a must if you are in the area!!!

Bics is what it is. A small diner with good food, large portions and reasonably priced. I don’t understand people saying the food is good and giving a two or three star rating. Order the ham steak for breakfast it covers the whole plate. Also good chicken fried steak. Would choose Bics over IHOP any day.

This is a greasy diner. Servers are spunky and speak their mind, which kept the experience fun. I ordered an omelet with mushrooms, ham and cheese. The cheese was runny velveta-like and gross. Add some ketchup and the hash browns were great! White toast was smashed, over buttered and not worth the calories. Redeeming point was we all got to-go cups which is worth ½ of a star.

I’ve been here at least twice and can say I don’t like this place. It’s a combination of the food and service. They both suck. The breakfast is not tasty at all. The coffee and my meals(including those with me) was a BIG let down. I will not make the mistake again. This might be a great place to those who are regulars, but for foodies… stay clear. Bleh.
