Ziryab tapas restaurant (which should be confused with it’s bar, the Shisha Lounge!) specialises in fusion tapas, blending traditional forms of Catalan dishes with spices and ingredients from Middle Eastern country, reflecting the Moorish history of Spain which had an enormous influence on its culinary traditions.

Ziryab is located in one of the oldest taverns in the heart of the old Rivera neighbourhood (now called the Born) of Barcelona. It’s quaint and charming and has a beautiful atmosphere. Great to spend with a group of friends or as a romantic evening as a couple!

Fundado en 2012.

It’s a family business. Started up in July 2012 and has been growing ever since! The concept is fun and allows us ato play a lot with variations of flavours, which customers enjoy a lot! In january 2015 the second place was opened and the restaurant was moved there. make sure you get the right address! Carrer dels Ases 16 (for the tapas restaurant) and Carrer de Grunyi 4 if you want to have a cocktail or a smoke on the fruit water pipe after dinner! Both are right by the Santa Maria church.
