El mejor ramen de Barcelona. Vale la pena ir y comer este manjar. Hay que ir pronto, ya que no hay reservas y se forman colas.

Original, bueno y de precio ajustado. Hay que esperar cola pero merece la pena.

Hacía años que había escuchado hablar del Ramen Ya Hiro por su buena calidad pero por la gran paciencia que se tiene que ir para poder coger mesa.
Estuvimos esperando 1h15 en la puerta pero mereció la pena esperar.
Su calidad es muy buena y el servicio es rápido y amable.
El sitio es muy pequeñito y a pesar que tienen una terraza con estufas la espera es larga…
Recomiendo el ramen de miso y las gyozas, además del mochi de postre.

Got there just before it opened, was lucky enough to be in the first group to eat. Food come quick, had the miso base ramen and gyoza, taste real nice, broth was great but ramen was missing an egg? Need that egg guys.

La primera vez que pruebo ramen y creo que he ido a parar al lugar donde hacen el más bueno de la ciudad.
Hicimos una hora y media de cola pero valió tanto la pena que sólo pienso en cuándo puedo volver.
Los cocineros y los camareros me transmitieron muy buen rollo, nos enseñaron los «juguetitos» que tienen por allí y estaban súper animados, bailando con la música mientras cocinaban.
El sitio es muy pequeñito y único. La decoración, el ambiente. todo lo hace especial.
Yo me pedí los edamame, que son plato fijo cuando voy a estos sitios, gyozas y el ramen con soja. increíble todo!!!
He dicho que pienso volver pronto??? Se merecen las 5 estrellas!

Este restaurante es simplemente GENIAL, no solo por su comida sino por la experiencia que representa. Una vez entramos (después de hacer más de 1 hora de cola) me sentí en otro país, quizás algún local de Nueva York, de San Francisco, o del mismísimo Japón.
Éramos 6 y tuvimos la gran suerte de que nos colocaran en la barra. Y digo suerte porque para mi fue un lujo ver a los 3 cocineros trabajando en directo y además con esa simpatía. Son 3 asiáticos la mar de majos que trabajan al ritmo del rap y R&B que suena por los altavoces y del que el propietario es fan. Hay ruido, pocas mesas, mucha gente… ¡pero estuvimos tan a guuuusto! Desde luego la cola mereció la pena.
La decoración es sencilla pero está llena de detalles frikis: muñequitos, dibujos de bola de drac (¡hay hasta un muñeco del fullet tortuga!)… SUPER FAN.
En cuanto a la comida, las gyozas de carne espectaculares (me estoy volviendo una adicta total de esta tapa), y bueno, el ramen… el ramen va a ser difícilmente superable. Yo me pedí el de pollo con soja y madre de dios… hubiera comido hasta explotar (de hecho después me costaba caminar jaja). De verdad que entendí perfectamente el gran éxito de este pequeño restaurante.
¡Ah! Habían muchos asiáticos tanto en la cola como en las mesas, señal de la autenticidad y calidad de la comida que ofrecen. Yo es que estoy deseando volver.
¡Faltan más sitios así en Barcelona!

There’s always line for this place every day, and people can wait for around an hour to get seated. The redeeming value is that you can order drinks and have them while you’re standing.
The ramen soup is the star of the show, it needs no further mentioning. It’s up there with the great ramens of Tokyo.
I argued with my friends many times about eating Japanese food in Barcelona, but I stand corrected at Hiro.

Una hora y diez minutos de cola un lunes a las 20:25. Increíble, por orgullo no nos fuimos XD. Él Ramen está tremendo y el camarero es la caña, esto hace que se te olvide todo. Recomendación personal el mochi de postre es la guinda.

You should go with time, there’s always a 30 min or more line waiting outside. The good news is that it gets your hunger right on point! (;
The ramen is really delicious, well seasoned and on a generous serve. It is definitely worth the wait!

Let’s just start out by saying that the wait was not pleasant. We arrived at 8:35 and got seated at 9:40.
My friend and I ordered an order of gyoza, miso noodles with char siu roasted pork and chocolate mochi to finish.
The gyoza was good. There were five pieces (4,50) served with a side of typical soy/​sesame sauce. The gyoza peels were thin and the filling was very salty. They were cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of ginger in them.
My miso soup base ramen (7,50 plus 2,50 for the pork) was the star. The soup base was at times, nutty but also super meaty and savory. The noodles were a bit subpar – nothing exciting – they were a bit too soft and lacked the elasticity that I look for in noodles. The char siu pork was pretty fantastic. It was tender and fell apart instantaneously upon the chopsticks touch.
I ordered chocolate ice cream (3,00) to top off my experience. It was extremely rich and creamy – just what I needed!
This place is good but I’m not sure if I’d wait in line for another hour to taste the broth again.

Sopa Ramen de miso. Deliciosa. Muy pequeño y la mesa es compartida, un trato exquisito de los camareros, que si lo necesitas no dudan en darte todos los detalles de cada plato.. Muy cerquita de Sor rita, por si después queréis una copita Almodóvar!

I’m a big ramen connoisseur, and this is probably one of the three best I’ve ever had. I showed up five minutes before they opened for Friday dinner and was surprised to see a line stretching down the block. I waited 60 minutes (to eat alone!) before being seated at a shared table. I noticed that people waiting in line were given beers on request — classy.
The service is quick and efficient. I had the miso ramen — the broth was perfect, the pork was juicy (although you only get one slice?!), and the vegetables were fresh. The noodles were the weakest part, I’ve had better, but even those deserve a ⁴⁄₅.
Typical reasonable Barna prices. I’ll definitely come back here again… maybe on a weeknight, though.

I’ve never seen a line for food in Europe. I see them in the US and Asia all the time but when I read that people line up for blocks/​hours to eat at this ramen place, I had to try it.
The gyoza was pretty good, though if you live in the US, you’ll get better there. But the ramen was seriously delicious — I got the miso flavor. The broth was good but the meat and noodles were the star.
And yes, people line up for this place before it even opens. I went on a Saturday night and got there at 8pm (opens at 8:30) and waited for 90 minutes for a party of 2.
Don’t go with a large group unless you’re okay watching the smaller ones pass you by.

I’m a Japanese-​American visiting Barcelona from Los Angeles and I’m so glad I found ramen-​ya Hiro! The ramen was fantastic and the noodles were thin and firm. Hiro was great and he knows how to treat his customers right! Will come back again!

Local pequeño japonés, curiosamente decorado y con cocina a la vista, varios asiáticos cocinando, cuya especialidad es el Ramen.
Mucha cola un diario, y japoneses, síntomas de buena elección. Me hice con hueco para comer en la barra, muy buen servicio por parte de los camareros, europeos.
Menú del día por unos 11 euros con bebida, una gyoza muy buena, y un ramen de misho impresionante, no tiene otra palabra.
Buena música de fondo, muy buen ambiente y ganas de volver para probar otros tipos de ramen y otros platos de la carta.
Muy muy recomendable, un cinco estrellas, y hacía tiempo que no las ponía ojo!

siempre colas, siempre asiáticos comiendo por aquí. los cocineros unos craks a la cocina y muy extrovertidos, los camareros amables, especial referencia el chico tatuado, el ramén espectacular, las gyozas muy buenas, el mochi muy ricos, acompaña todo con cervezas japoneses y buen rollo asiático y tu experiencia en este curioso local será sobresaliente !!

Apparently I wasn’t the only one craving a hot bowl of noodle-​y soup yesterday… There was a line halfway up the block by the time I arrived at 2:15 for lunch.
Granted, the place is tiny. I don’t think we would have gotten a table if it wasn’t for the holiday (as they normally turn away diners who aren’t seated by 3:30 — we didn’t get seated until nearly 4).
Robert M, Frank & I shared a plate of Gyoza, which is made in-​house, and was excellent.
I ordered the Miso Ramen, with egg and bamboo shoots. I wanted extra pork, but it was sold out. The broth was thick and rich. Perhaps a bit too thick for my taste (translation: I was drinking so much water that afternoon! it must have been sky high with sodium too). What would have made the soup just a tiny bit better would have been if it was served hotter. I like it hot. Scalding hot. Like I need to wait and blow on it for a while before I start. This was immediately edible, meaning it was too cold by the time I was near the end.
I’ll definitely come here again when craving ramen. Hopefully I’ll arrive early enough to not have to wait over an hour for a table. It’s a good thing I had a little snack before venturing off to lunch — I’d have been way too grumpy if I was overly hungry.

Llevaba tiempo queriendo venir y por fiiiin lo probamos!!! Nunca encontrabamos el momento, como siempre me decian que habia colas infinitas me daba pereza pero de verdad que al final no fue para tanto. El ramen brutal, cumplió las expectativas con creces. No puedo comparar con muchos otros locales en Barcelona pero dicen q es el mejor y me lo creo, ya os contare! Que tengo otros 2 pendientes.
Nos toco en la barra y yo soy muy de barra, es todo un show verles preparando el ramen. Pedimos unos edamame y gyozas (muy buenas) para picoteo. Hicimos ramen de soja y ramen de miso, mmmm… El mejor el de miso, pero va a gustos!
Ademas el local y el ambientillo nos gustó mucho, todo autentico japo muy friki. Banda sonora genial de fondo para amenizar la cena y los camareros y cocineros majisimos.
Cuenta final, 30 € los 2. Deseando volver ya!

Before you decide to eat here, keep in mind that you will be waiting 1 – 2 hours before getting seated. Sounds crazy but this is actually pretty typical for ramen spot that’s super good… and super small. That being said, arrive early (before 8:30p) and order some beers while you’re in line to pass the time. Finally got seated after 2 hours of waiting, but I’m sure we would have been seated earlier if our group was smaller. we had 5 of us.
We all ordered the Miso ramen (8.50 €) with an extra egg (.50 €).I added extra seaweed on the side. It was a pretty solid bowl of ramen with tasty savory broth, a perfectly boiled&marinaded egg, and tender pork. Wish there was more noodles and that the noodles weren’t as chewy. but for a ramen spot this good in Barcelona I can’t really complain!
If you are craving ramen and you happen to be in BCN, definitely try this place. Just don’t come too starving or else you’ll become hangry and the wait may disappoint you!

We attempted to eat here twice week but the line was WAY too long that we decided to bail. On the 3^rd attempt, we got there at 8pm and there was already a pretty long line. Thankfully, we managed to score the last table for the first round of seating after they opened.
So here’s the dirt: Long wait but this place offers a pretty good bowl of ramen, but like others have said before — the noodles need a little more tweaking.
Shoyu ramen: broth was good, chashu was pretty good but needed a lil’ more kick on the flavor. Order extra seaweed and bamboo! If you like eggs like I do, that was done with just the right amount of yolk-​ooziness perfect for a bowl of hot ramen.
Gyoza: yummy!
Staff was super friendly and fast!

La primera vez que probé el ramen fue en Londres, una decepción. Fuimos a un sitio conocido por sus ramen y me parecieron de lo más insípidos.
Pero todo cambió cuando descubrí el Ramen Ya Hiro. No hacía falta irse lejos para probar el mejor ramen que he disfrutado hasta ahora. Sólo hace falta ver las colas que se forman TODOS los días, meiodía y noche, para probar su comida. La fama que ha conseguido es más que merecida. No conozco a nadie que los haya probado y no haya salido fascinado.
Eso sí, ve con hambre, porque el bol de ramen es considerablemente grande. Una delicia que tienes que probar!

Yes, i can believe this is the best ramen in town. I had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated but it’s well worth it. They had the cold broth for summer and it was very tasty.
I can’t wait to go back.

Ramen. No hace falta saber más sobre este sitio donde sirven un sabroso y auténtico Ramen al más puro estilo japonés. ¿El único problema? Se suele tener que abrir el apetito haciendo cola para entrar en su territorio… de todos modos, si se es paciente, la espera vale la pena.

This is one of those places that is authentic, cheap and fun. Packed in on little tables inside, I would recommend sitting at the bar if possible. I am somewhat tall (188cm), so it was a little cosy for me. Seating for three is a little tight as you are squeezed onto the end of a table for 2, with the table for 2 behind you almost hitting you in the back. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had to queue to get a table, but it was worth it. Few people came in solo and sat at the bar. Very cool atmosphere.
Only comment on the food was that next time, we would not bother with the extra topping. The food was great as is. Just get a ramen bowl each. There is plenty of food in each serving.

I love ramen, and I make ramen at home. This place is delicious! They take pride in their food and it shows in the flavor and in the service. Super busy for lunch and dinner so get there early. Either the soy, miso or seafood broth are good choices, you can’t go wrong. The gyoza are grilled and served super hot so be careful, but they are the best I’ve had! This is a definite must try!

Broth was deep and made me instantly smile. The noodles were well done, though it wasn’t to ultimate perfection, but for Barcelona? I’d say it was perfect. It’s hot inside though. Beware. Bring a fan or something. It’ll get a little crowded and jammed.

They did complement each other very well.

I was excited to see a ramen place rated so high in Barcelona so I had to come try it out. It was a very nice little shop, beautifully decorated with familiar Japanese art and figurines. Disappointed that they had no tonkotsu broth and disappointed by the wait from the time we ordered til the time the food arrived in front of us (was about 30mins).
As for the quality of the food I was very impressed. I had both the tsukemen and soja. Both were phenomenal. I was expecting the tsukemen broth to be dense but it was just like regular broth. Despite this, the cold noodles fused very well with the broth. It was amazing! Would recommend getting there a bit early before it opens

I really liked this place despite the ramen being different to what I am used to. We got there 5 minutes after opening time and had to wait an hour for a table. Probably best to get there 10 minutes before opening to get in the first sitting.
The gyoza were worth coming for on their own, but when paired with the deliciously hearty ramen broth, they were heaven. Definitely a place I can recommend for true ramen lovers.

Ramen is very good and fresh. Service is good and quickly. Only bad that it’s very crowed, maybe you have to wait for a table for one or two turns of people finish to eat but they offer drinks while your are waiting!

Después de probar Koku Kitchen, tras haber vuelto de Japón y haberme aficionado para siempre al Ramen (es el plato más emblemático de Japón, quien estuvo allí lo sabe) tenía que ir a Ramen-​Ya Hiro, otro santuario del Ramen en Barcelona.
No me ha defraudado en absoluto. Es tan auténtico que conserva el espíritu nipón de sientate-​come-​vete tan ajeno a la cultura mediterránea. Pero vayamos por orden y en este caso, el ramen es lo principal del lugar. Si te gusta el ramen te va a gustar este ramen. A elegir entre tres variedades, el ramen es perfecto, tal cual lo tomas en las calles de Tokyo. Caldo muy potente, muy sabroso. Fideos con la cocción perfecta y los toppings perfectamente integrados en la sopa. Un 10 para este ramen, un viaje a Japón desde Barcelona en cada bocado.
Ahora bien, no creas que va a ser todo tan fácil. Cada día una tropa de fanáticos del ramen se agolpan en la puerta y hacen cola para ocupar uno de los limitados espacios que oferta este lugar. Tendrás que esperar y no exagero cuando puedes calcular entre 30 y 50 minutos en fin de semana o en hora de cenar. Es la ley de la oferta y la demanda, a la gente le gusta el ramen y la oferta en Barcelona es escasa. Resultado: Peregrinaje a Ramen Ya HIro en masa.
No apto para comidas largas. En cuanto acabé mi ramen, una encargada del lugar amablemente me comentó que había gente esperando. No os espantéis por esto. En Japón es similar. Solo que ellos nunca te pedirían que dejaras tu sitio a otro comensal, pero lo esperarían, porque el concepto de sobremesa mediterráneo no existe como tal. Curioso el detalle que en la misma cola que haces puedas pedir algo de beber para pasar la cola de manera más llevadera…
Recomendable para los que valoren lo auténtico. Es lo más parecido a comer en Tokyo a tantos kms de distancia.

El mejor ramen de España. Vale, quizá debería decir el mejor ramen que yo he probado en España, pero es que el ramen de Hiro está TAN bueno que estoy convencida de que no hay otro mejor :)
La textura perfecta de los fideos, el sabor del chashu (que está de 10, madre mí qué riiiiico), la contundencia de los caldos… Delicioso todo, de verdad. Una experiencia ramen de 10, inigualable.
Local híper-​pequeñito, toca hacer cola siempre, pero bien lo merece. En la cola suele haber muuuuuuchos japoneses, lo cual siempre es muy buena señal. Y lo mejor de esto? Que los japoneses comen ramen como japoneses que son, no como españoles. Es decir, se sientan (a poder ser en la barra), piden su ramen, lo devoran sin quemarse el paladar (toda una técnica ^^), pagan y se marchan. Así, la rotación es muy alta ;) porque los españoles solemos tardar más, aunque sólo sea por tener que soplar los fideos! ^^;;;
Si estás en Barcelona, tienes que ir a Hiro sí o sí ;)

No está mal pero, la verdad, esperaba más.No es ni por asomo, el mejor ramen que he comido. Me pareció poca cantidad de fideo e ingredientes y mucho caldo. Repito, tenía muchas espectativas, porque me encanta el ramen y, la verdad, me decepcionó.Ir con tiempo, porque hay cola.

Hiro san hace el mejor Ramen que he comido en la vida. Mejor que los que comí en Japón. Todo perfecto. Pide el ramen obviamente que está buenísimo pero también pode el omitir y las gyozas.

Buen lugar para ir a comer ramen. Si no se puede llegar cuando abren hay que tener paciencia y esperar turno, ya que siempre hay cola, pero para que la espera pase mejor puedes pedirte algo de beber y así esperar tomando una cervecita japonesa.
El restaurante es alargado, la barra a un lado, y algunas mesas al otro, una atmosfera muy japonesa; como es chiquitito las mesas están bastante pegaditas. No es lugar para hacer sobremesa, ya que cuando terminas, aun queda gente en la cola esperando para entrar.
No sólo tienen ramen, también se pueden descubrir otros platos japoneses. Y lo mejor, es que tienen también ramen de marisco, muy bueno!

This is a really good bowl. And for Spain it’s great to see some diversity and a real appreciation for good food from other parts of the globe. The only thing I could really fault Hiro on are the noodles. While well cooked, the texture just isn’t right. Maybe they are using frozen noodles, or just need to work on the recipe.
Ramen nerd complaints aside, this is a perfectly good place and one I’m going to keep visiting when in town. If you like ramen and need a noodle fix this a great place. Eat here.

Ps. To put Hiro in context of other cities for the real ramen fans… I give it a strong ³⁄₅ for Europe, as I think it’s reasonable to hold Barcelona to the same culinary standard of cities like London and Paris (mainly because this is a city that appreciates good food). For Japan (Tokyo, specifically as one Unilocaler said) I can only give it a 2 or 3. It’s good, but to compare it to the ramen capital of the world and give it a ⁴⁄₅ is a stretch.

May even be better than some of the good ramen joint in Tokyo. I even drunk the entire soup and it is rare !!! Highly recommend.

Aunque siempre hay que hacer más de media hora de cola, es definitivamente el mejor Ramen que he probado nunca. Además el dueño, Hiroki, es un auténtico japonés al que le gusta mucho cocinar con buena música (mucho rap y música negra). Además de Ramen tiene algunas tapas. Puedes sentarte a comer en una mesa, o en la barra y ver cómo preparan cada bowl de Ramen.
Espectacular. 100% recomendable!
PD: fijaos en las maquinitas que tienen para dejar la propina (merecidisima) al principio de la barra.

Hiro es mi ídolo. Ha sabido mantener la autenticidad de su ramen aún con toda la afluencia y la fama que ha conseguido. Definitivamente, el mejor Ramen de Barcelona, e incluso me atrevería a decir que de España.
Lo mejor es sentarte en la barra para ver de cerca el espectáculo de cómo prepara cada cuenco de ramen, probándolos el mismo para que quede perfecto.
Su ramen es tan auténtico que hasta he visto a ejecutivos japoneses que estaban de paso por Barcelona cenando allí. La decoración también está muy cuidada. Toda un experiencia. La hucha de gatito para las propinas es un puntazo, solo por eso se merecen unas moneditas ;)

This place is really great! The ambiance is really friendly, and it’s really popular among experts on ramen. A really nice thing about this place, is that you can ask the waiters for suggestions if you want, and they’ll help you out if you’re not quite sure what to get. I completely recommend this place.
The reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service was really REALLY slow. To be fair, it’s a fairly small area for so many people waiting to be seated, so they must have been really busy. We waited so long for the waiter to come ask us what we wanted for desert that we didn’t end up getting desert. The food took a while to arrive too, but when it did, let me tell you, it was amazing! I really recommend this place, it’s an adorable space, with a really sophisticated air.

1. Si tienen cola (siempre) antes de abrir es por algo. Incluso hay un cartel en la puerta disculpándose por la espera.
2. El año pasado estuve en Japón y puedo decir que los ramen que sirven aquí son los que más me han recordado a los de allí, con diferencia. Para mi gusto creo que podrian añadir la opción de fideos gordos, no sólo los delgados (en Japón siempre ofrecen las dos opciones y es genial).
3. Con un plato de ramen (7 – 8 € aprox) te llenas. Así que la calidad-​precio es genial.
4. El local es pequeño pero agradable. La terraza está muy bien de cara al buen tiempo.
5. Es un MUST para los amantes de la comida japonesa.
Atención: no demasiado apto para grupos. Sólo hay una mesa grande fuera en la terraza, dentro hay mesas de 2 – 4 personas.
