Fundado en 1984.

At the tender age of 20 Thomas Meyer, originally from Switzerland, envisaged a future in which people dressed in a different way, in clothes that helped generate positive feelings, affordable to all. And out of this dream Desigual was first born in 1984.

I’m a little crazy for Desigual. I love the detail that is put into the design of these clothes. They are so unique and each piece feels like art. I love that they think about the front and the back and adding sparkle here or a bead there… There’s always a surprise with a piece of Desigual clothing. I pretty much wear it everyday. I knew I was hooked when the first two times I shopped in the store, I left wearing what I bought. It was like I couldn’t just wear «regular» clothes when I had something fun, funky and colorful in my shopping bag. I ALWAYS get compliments and have strangers in the street asking me where I got my drop waisted pants. Which, in truth, took me 6 mos. in my closet before I had the guts to actually wear them out the door. Now I live in them, and pretty much every skirt, shirt, pant, legging and sweater is Desigual. Yes, ok. I am obsessed. Thank you Desigual, you make me love getting dressed everyday! XOXO

I loved this store when I was in Barcelona. Bought some funky bags, scarves, dress and T-​shirt. I see they have stores in NYC. May have to plan a trip there.

Oh my god, obsessed. I seriously became obsessed with this place on my trip to Barcelona. Such colorful, beautiful, stylish, and fun clothes! Every time I passed a Desigual, I had to go in and try on more items. Everything was just so unique and cool. And I knew that no one in the States would have any of these items, so the thought of owning some of these items was even more appealing!
In the end, I came away with two sweaters and two pairs of leggings. They had a lot of cute dresses and coats, but unfortunately the prices were too high and the sizes didn’t fit quite right.
I can’t give this place 5 stars though because the prices are just too high. And with the exchange rate from Euros to Dollars, this place really crushed my wallet.

Mittlerweile gibt es Desigual ja häufiger, aber entdeckt habe ich die Marke in Barcelona. Die witzige Deko im Eingangsbereich überzeugte durch Kreativität und machte Lust auf mehr. Kreativ ist auch der Style der Klamotten, auch wenn ich nicht alles tragen würde. Inspirierendes Konzept.

I knew Desiqual from a girl friend who generously sent one summer dress to my Birthday last year. Since that very moment Im in love with Desigual. I adore their cut and admire the pattern of their colors and design.
From my point of view, its a bit more expensive than Manggo and of course Zara n Mexx but hey, Desigual is funki-​er! :)
And as for the size, its similiar to any brands, that you cant always stick to your regular size unless you try some out. So do bring some spare time at the fitting room. At least it applies to Women Wear as my dear lucky Boyfriend has never had problem with it.
The Store at Pl. de Catalunya is a must. The shop assistants are helpfull with a lil english n store itself is not that huge you’d get lost but suppose to have the complete collection with a bargain section at the edge of the store. You could also find Desigual @ El Corte Ingles just next to its official store.

Die Klamotten von Desigual überraschen immer wieder mit tollen Farbkombinationen und guten Preisen.
In Deutschland immer noch selten zu finden, gibt es in Barcelona viele Geschäfte die dieses Label führen.

La ropa de Desigual destaca bastante cuando la comparamos con otras marcas juveniles (sobre todo las de Inditex). Es más colorida, más divertida y menos habitual. Sin embargo, sus precios también son algo más caros.
A esta tienda en concreto he ido varias veces buscando algún regalo y el trato siempre ha sido bueno.

While it looks like a high street store it is very definitely on the high end fashion or at least the high price. With many stores across Barcelona and many more opening all the time. It is a more expensive version of Zara, everything is better quality but with a corresponding increase in price. It is definitely not cheap, however, the clothes are a very unique interesting style. While many people would be able to say that a particular piece of clothing came from zara, topman, gap etc etc, everybody would be clueless as to clothes in desigual.
If you’re interested in fashion or want to buy something that will stand out in a crowd then head to desigual, however, if you’re wanting cheap bargains that you can’t get in the UK then stick to Zara.

Tienda desigual con mucha luz, y en la que vas a recibir un trato super amable de sus dependientas. la ropa desde mi punto de vista esta muy bien organizada, y vas a poder encontrar todo lo que buscas.
Si no encuentras algo de tu talla, las dependientas muy amables te van a buscar por toda la tienda hasta encontrar la talla que buscas.
Se preocupan por el cliente, y siempre están haciendo promociones y fiestas diversas.
