If you are looking for great coffee and an amazing atmosphere, look no further. Their pressed apple juice rocks too. Friendly service. Simply a great place to sip some drinks and chill out.

KafBar was visited due to its many Unilocal-recommendations, when I was freezing in the Copenhagen«blizzard» with another hungry soul one Saturday afternoon. Seemed like every other place on our way was full, but there was still some space at KafBar. The entrance is not that obvious, so we might not have noticed it if we didn’t happen to be looking for it. The charmingly decorated café is divided into two areas, one where there are only tables and one with some tables and the actual café counter. We sat in the first one, where the seats were comfy enough, but the acoustics were terrible. One felt like one was yelling no matter how low one was talking. And we could hear absolutely everything else everyone else were saying. This is not a suitable place for studying/working, if you happen to need some quiet. I had a very tasty cortado and an ok «avocado-snack», consisting of two slices of rye bread(the really good, whole grain kind), some lettuce, honey and avocado. I would have liked more avocado. Price-wise, it was very do-able, at 40 kr. The service was, to me, ok. They were out of cake and croissants, which was a little disappointing. But the guy working there suggested the avocado-snack instead and made a dynamite cortado, so all was forgiven. The way they talked to us, was by me interpreted as trying to be «cool» and laid-back, but to my friend they seemed rude. Maybe my Danish isn’t good enough to be insulted yet, but I had a cosy, yet noisy, time at KafBar.
