Was dying for ramen noodles around Winnipeg. Here’s the place with a variety of ramen and sushi!

I will not order sushi here again. I ordered spicy tuna, salmon + cheese and volcano rolls. Volcano was the worst, especially for $ 20. Tuna pieces too big and nothing like I expected. Spicy tuna roll was better, but not enough rice and far too much tuna in each centre. All of the rolls were mushy and messy and too much meat/​not enough rice. Generous portions though.

I ate here often while I lived in the area for a bit. This was one of the 3 restaurants I actually liked in Winterpeg, especially during the freezing cold seasons. Being from the Bay Area in California, I can honestly say if you stuck this restaurant in Downtown SF, it would be just as popular as one of the other ramen houses here, so for me, I loved this place because it reminded me of home. Their broth is very flavorful!!! We would always get the spicy chicken ramen. The curry ramen is surprisingly good as well, I just don’t think I could eat a whole bowl of it. Their bento boxes are awesome too! Rolls are big and the fish is fresh.
The service here is great too. The owner and his staff were always so friendly.
Another awesome note: THEY PLAY DISNEY MOVIES ON THEIR TV!

This place is awesome, been there a few times, food was good, ramen noodle is a bit too tasty, as the other said, they treat the food like art. Price is reasonable compare to the other,
Service is okay, may be that asian culture. Will always coming back.

I always order their sashimi. Their sushi is great! :) will always come back for ramen.

Went with my 11 year old son and shared a philedelphia roll, shrimp tempura, spicy crab roll and the usual negiri tuna. All very good but the spicy tuna roll was outstanding! Restaurant is very small and was pretty much full. This restaurant is modern and very clean! Many people eating ramen and it looked amazing, will go back for that. Only minor complaints — they serve cans of pop so no refill and the soya sauce was not low sodium, so dip sparingly. Super appreciative staff, I felt like a guest.

I’ve been coming here regularly for about a month now, always an amazing experience. I try to have something new every time and whatever I pick always tastes delicious! The Ramen is to tasty, and don’t get me started on the sushi! My favourite so far has to be either the white dragon roll or the Alaska roll, but there is still plenty to try! Great food, good price, and friendly staff make kazoku a 5 star place!

I wish I could give a three and a half as I would say this place didn’t quite deserve a four.
Interesting décor as every chair has tennis balls on the bottom to stop from scratching. Didn’t try and Korean dishes, only sushi which I would say was pretty good, service was a little slow and I think they forgot to input our order because other people were being served before us even after having come in ten minutes after.
All in all the staff were friendly but didn’t do much to stand out, food was decent but could be better.

Very good sushi and ramen noodles. They serve you pretty big portions as well. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Price is reasonable. I will be back again.

Kazoku treats their sushi as works of art! My friend and I were thoroughly impressed when they put our plates in from of us. Not only were the dishes presented well, they were delicious and in large portions! We were expecting 6 small pieces of each roll so we ordered 2 each… But we got 8 – 10 large pieces of each roll. I love leftovers!!!
My friend and I shared the crab tempura as a starter which already filled us up pretty good. My friend ordered a spicy tuna roll and a special roll called The Creepy which came with a fried lotus root on top. Almost like an Asian French fry, it was interesting.
I ordered the classic yam roll and a special roll called Aloha which had a bit of sweetness and wrapped in a pink wrapper which I had never seen before.
Décor was nice and modern and they have nice chopsticks! Not just the disposable wooden ones. I would definitely go back to try their Korean food.

Fantastic Japanese and Korean food. We will be coming again. Had the sweet bulgogi box — there is a lot packed in to this Benito box. The flavors were excellent — loved the bean sprout salad so much I have been Googling recipes to see if I can make it at home. Hubbie had the Donburi pork — he let me have a taste and it was excellent as well.

I had a delicious beef bento lunch box. Every part was excellent: the sushi, tempura, beef teriyaki and rice were all high quality with distinct flavors. I will return tomorrow for lunch!
Ambience is airy and light. Service was friendly.

Awesome… This place is top of the food chain — they even showed me how to use the chopsticks and they actually worked for me
