Java Express

A terrible latte served by an «almost» unfriendly waitress — I certainly can’t call her a barista. For a place that has coffee in it’s name and coffee signs all over the windows I would have thought having properly trained baristas would be essential. I have had better at Starbucks which isn’t saying much!

Friendly staff and muffins are fresh, delicious. Needless to say about coffee :)
Also when it’s sunny you should be sitting outside! Coffee, muffin, sunshine. Everything is perfect :)

My favourite Coffee Shop in White Rock.
This place is literally around the corner from my house so I frequent it regularly. Someitmes I’ll pop in to take out an Americano and a freshly baked muffin (the Trail Mix one is my favourite) and othertimes I’ll take my laptop and sit down to do some work while I sip on a beverage.
The cookies and muffins are all bakes inside the store and are wonderful (and huge) and the coffee’s are full bodied and rich without leaving any sort of nasty aftertaste.
The shop can be a little busy at times depending on which times of day you go — but this is no different to any other place.
I cant recommend the place enough. The guys running the place are great and the girls on the weekend always remember my order — it’s a lovely, little shop.

If you’re looking for a great cup of coffee & a delicious freshly baked mufffin, stop by the Java Express in White Rock. When it comes to my Americano, there are few who can please me… but this cup of java is hot, full bodied, without being bitter, and consistently pleasing.
My favorite muffin is the Morning Glory, bursting with fruit.
Free wifi and comfortable chairs.
