They are big, clean and helpful. You really get the sense of «newness» when you enter the store. The pharmacy is surprisingly quite easily accessible, in spite of all of the seniors here. Maybe it’s us young folk who monopolize the pharmacies, after all? What I can’t stand is that the parking lot is a nightmare with all of the stereotypes of «driving challenged» folk rolled into one, all trying to park at the same time. I’d probably place myself in this same category, as upon parking here, I seem to forget how to maneuver, too. For parking lot reasons alone, I’ll stick with my shoppers in Vancouver.

This is the recently relocated Shoppers Drug Mart that used to be at 16th and 152nd Street. This is a brand new store. They have your standard Shoppers Drug Mart fare; as well as a Canada Post Outlet, Pharmacy and Beauty Bar. Today I had the opportunity to sample the Beauty Bar. A very friendly beauty consultant, Sharon, helped me with selecting cosmetics. I haven’t worn cosmetics for over 15 years and as someone who is in menopause, my skin really needs the extra attention. I was also helped by Laurel who was in the store representing Bioderma, a wonderful line of skin care products. Both Laurel and Sharon were fabulous with their help. I went in with thoughts that I wouldn’t be able to find products that were kind to my skin(very sensitive and prone to redness). Sharon was ever so kind in selecting some Clinique foundation, blush and a great mascara(that isn’t waterproof. great for sensitive eyes) and Laurel selected great Bioderma skin care products that I can’t wait to try! On my other visits to the store, I have always found that there are staff to help in every section of the store; willing to go into the back to see if more product is there if the shelf is empty.
