Go if you want a coffee and a bite to eat fast, though customer service isn’t one of this location’s strongsuits on certain days.

We have had nothing but consistently terrible customer service here, I’m afraid – so much so that for years now my husband and I deliberately do not give them our business, even though they are the closest Tim Hortons to us and their late and early hours would make them a convenient, if not really exciting, option on days when time is at a premium. They frequently do not have everything on the menu. For example, several times on weekends we went to get breakfast sandwiches and even though they serve breakfast until noon, they would simply tell us they are«out» of certain items, and substitute things in our order until it did not resemble anything like what we had wanted. It’s our impression they could not always really be out of items, since so much of what they do is just reheating frozen packages, but because breakfast time was almost over, they were too lazy to thaw a new batch of hashbrowns or whatever… Very disappointing. If you say you serve breakfast until noon, you ought to serve breakfast until noon, not passively let yourself run out of breakfast menu items around 11:15 and do nothing to replenish them! There are better, independent coffee shops and tea shops in the area, but if you really need a double double or some TimBits, go to the Timmy’s at Broadway and Granville – the staff there are courteous and engaged and they serve the items their menu promises!

This place is the worst. Just absolute trash. I will give them 1 star for consistency, in its ability to consistently screw everything up. 80% of the time you go, they don’t have what you want. They’re out of breakfast materials in the middle of breakfast hours(constantly), the Ice Capp machine is broken(perpetually), or the donut selection is shot. And if they do have what you want, they’ll make it wrong twice while keeping you waiting just for good measure. The service is rude and inept and slow. Also, since they closed the Wendy’s, the place has basically become a homeless shelter.

They should hire people who can speak English. =( I was so hungry and trying to explain that I want simple tea and grilled cheese sandwich took me ages. People come to THs because they want something quick. so I think its important!

now with Wendy’s gone inside, lost its star ;( always a busy location w/the hospital staff. good that it’s open 24 hrs but always panhandlers here, sometimes aggressive. and rush hr restrictions, not much parking here.

This Tim Horton is located on a street that appears to suffer from the effects the typical urban dredges. They horde the napkins and sugar packets to keep them from non-customers. You want a less gritty place, walk few blocks to Blentz. For the price, Tim Horton is not a bad deal. More sitting spaces too. Can’t complaint about the coffee and the sugary donuts either. Classic stimulants for a wary visitor to the nearby hospital or someone needing a place to sober up. Free WiFi so I can check in and to surf the net is a plus.

There has never been a Tim Horton’s I wouldn’t ever go back to. Until now. Easily fixed is the menu layout. If you line up on the right and want a sandwich, bring your field glasses to see what your options are. The screens today, right(where the line is) to left: — Iced Drinks — Drinks — BC Lions Commercial — Misc Food — Breakfast sandwiches I mean, maybe it’s my parent’s fault for my having been born in Canada and not knowing the menu through my genes, but this location is likely to get visits from all over the world. First fail. Second — after ordering my sandwich(thankfully the cashier was right in front of the left screen), I was shooed away like Tyrion Lannister’s whore. Well, less drunkenly and with less profanity… well, maybe not like that at all. He just pointed to his right like he was directing traffic and I was supposed to just go there. He was already calling up the next customer(the last one in line — it wasn’t that busy). So I’m frustrated and a bit put off, but I got my order. It was quick, too. Try to find a table without garbage, crumbs, food, or hair on it? Impossible. Hair! Eff me, never going back there.

Timmy’s close to work helping me get through another 12 hours! And have done so time after time days and nights! You deserve four stars just for being there Timmy’s! The staff are polite and usually working efficiently which is a nice bonus.

As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by an annoying buzz which I quickly realized was coming from the fluorescent tube lighting that they have above the front door. The eating area is drab and messy, the staff were not outright rude but they certainly weren’t courteous. Most of there donut baskets were empty, fortunately I just wanted coffee so I wasn’t too disappointed by this. I also had the misfortune of needing to use their bathroom, I walked through the door into the washroom and felt like I had been transported to an East Van gas station washroom. The soap dispenser was torn off the wall and in pieces on the floor(so good luck washing your hands after!) and it reeked of urinal cakes… but there was no urinal, yuck! Overall not impressed, based on the cleanliness of the restaurant I won’t be buying food at this location anytime soon!

Extremely inefficient processing of coffee and food orders. The only thing that brings me back is that my co-workers like to have coffee here.

Heads Up: The number of stars given here must be understood within the context of having been travelling in Asia for 2 and half months, and this was my first ‘western dining’ experience upon returning that day. Donuts…you exist under lights that beckon me forward towards your doughy sugary goodness. First bite… oh yes… yes you are far better than the 5 random«things that looked like donuts»(but clearly were not) in Laos. Steeped tea… Double Double(is there really any other way to have this?). You NEVER disappoint me. In fact, Tim, I wish I could personally thank you for providing me with ‘home in a cup’. Ok, maybe I was a little sentimental about a ring of dough and a cup of tea, but I don’t care. It was like being home again.

Nasty donuts — they just taste like white refined sugar — don’t expect good old fashioned donuts. Their donuts used to be made fresh, now their donuts are made from frozen dough! I’m sad to say Tim Horton makes the worst donuts now. They’re going complete downhill!!! They serve extremely acidic chemically tasting coffee, the worst sandwiches because the bread are not fresh and they’re hard like a rock! and Ice Caps drinks that are more water and ice than coffee. Nothing at this Tim Hortons taste fresh. Yuck!
