I was planning a bachelor party for my friend to Vancouver. I found this website and was interested in their guns and girls package. They quoted me $ 1500 plus $ 70 a person, minimum of 12 people, plus the 12% Canadian tax. Being the horrible consumer that I am, I asked if they could reduce the price. They came back with $ 100 off. With the attitude of the owner Jodi you would think she just gave us her 1st born. Well these prices didn’t include transportation to and from the gun range. Jodi got us a quote for a limo which added another $ 300 + to our total. At this point we were looking at $ 236 a person or almost $ 2900 for the group. We were hesitant to spend this amount of money and at first decided to find something else to do in Vancouver. A couple of days later we relented and decided to book the package. After another great big production of how I am inconveniencing her, Jodi agreed to book the package and she took my deposit. 8 days later she sent me the contract which I signed and returned. In America when you sign a contract it is to make sure both parties live up to their end of the agreement. Maybe things are different in Canada because the day after I signed the contract Jodi called and raised the price. Not only did she have more than a week to figure any price differences she had me sign a CONTRACT agreeing to the price. When I informed her I was unwilling to pay any more she said that we can pay the extra money or cancel the event. I guess in Canadian math it is better to lose $ 2900 than $ 63, eh Jodi! If these are the type of people you want to do business with then I wish you luck. Just be sure to not put Jodi out so much by asking for discounts and being indecisive. On a final note they even screwed up crediting back my deposit. Now my credit card company gets to deal with their incompetence. Enjoy the dispute biotch! This is in response to their response. We didn’t change our mind six times. We changed it once. We asked for one discount. And the $ 63 wasn’t the main cause of us backing out. It was the fact that the you are liars and I refuse to give money to scum like you. There is plenty to do in Vancouver and you don’t need these idiots to do it. And don’t listen to the BS on their website about how it is hard to find girls in Vancouver. Just another one of their LIES!

I have two experiences with The Bachelor Plan. The first was for my stag in Whistler. The event was epic; two lovely lasses dealing cards, providing massages(no happy endings), dances, and pouring copious amounts of alcohol accompanied by their security hombre. My friends had sprung for a «duo show» at the end of the night: «So Kevir, what was going through your head while watching those two hotties?» «He was trying his hardest not to blink!» It was quite the unforgettable night. My second experience was for a friend’s stag. The setup was different, and the experience changed as well. We went with their hosted evening. I wasn’t the Best Man, but I was privy to the email communication. Here’s how it works: once they determine you are serious about booking, they send you a link where you can view the portfolios of their lovely ladies(I shan’t be sharing that link here), and you start hearing about their pricing. We were told we would be charged $ 200 + GST per person for four hours. This includes a(mostly) open bar of Smirnoff, Bombay Sapphire, Bacardi, Crown Royal, Corona, Stella and Canadian. Oh, how I wish people would serve beer worth drinking, but I adjusted by having my fill of beer at dinner and stuck with the Crown. While we were told we would have three ladies to entertain us, we actually received four(like we were going to complain). The booking process needs to improve. We had our quote and they knew our numbers. When we were ready to confirm and pay, they came back to us saying that they wouldn’t take us since we were nine and their minimum is ten(minimum 15 in peak season). We decided that we would pay the extra for a phantom tenth person and simply show up with nine. Then they came back and said they would have to adjust the quote because the quote included GST instead of HST. We were booking in June of 2010 and the HST didn’t hit until July. Really, the customer service staff there should express their thoughts to Google to determine validity before sending emails out to their customers. This was hugely unprofessional. In the end, we split the cost of ten people, plus GST, nine ways, and had some fun. We had previously arranged with The Bachelor Plan management that we could arrive up to ten minutes early. This was essential in delivering some trickery to our bachelor as some of us were bleeding away from his party. Arriving at 7:27 for a 7:30 start, we were told we could not enter as the girls were not ready. After an excruciating five minute wait, us early birds were finally permitted to enter, and I could relieve my bladder. Minutes later, the bachelor arrived to a wonderful surprise that half his friends weren’t walking out on him. Thus, the party began. The bartender/manager was very pleasant and friendly. She laid down the ground rules. Typical stuff, don’t molest the ladies, let them molest you, she indicated pricing for massages, dances, and private shows(I don’t remember what the specific pricing was), and, the most f’ed up part, is that they charge for shots. So, if you wanted vodka on the rocks, it was covered as part of the open bar, but, if you wanted a shot of vodka, you had to pay extra. WTF?! That business model needs to change; it’s either open bar, or it isn’t, rather than some scheme to get even more money out of us for the business. Also, I like to have my rye and coke easy on the ice. This can’t be done here since they do not refrigerate the mix. You need crap loads of ice to get your room temperature rye and room temperature canned Coca Cola to a suitable drinking temperature. With four ladies there, two were assigned to be topless dealers and two were assigned to be hostesses. This would have been ideal to discuss with us, since the two we were wanting as topless dealers were put up us topped hostesses; «buying» their bras was cool $ 50, each. Yet another mechanism for The Bachelor Plan to take more money than what was quoted up front. Of the four ladies providing entertainment to us, one was an exceptional hustler. She had a number of free drinks(likely shots purchased by one or more of the chaps) and gave higher pricing than what was indicated by the bartender/manager at the beginning of the evening. She would then«double dip» on the costs. Some of us bought the bachelor private dances with her; we paid up front, and she took money from the bachelor on top. She took this further by going to private shows with some, and then going to others saying that they owed her for their friend’s good time. This became quite complicated, and we started refusing to pay her. Thankfully, this did not escalate into a security issue. Oh Paige, how I hope I never see you again. Outside of this, the night was fun. I got my ass handed to me in poker. We put a good dent in the Crown Royal; in four hours, we came close to finishing a 1.75L bottle. Since my first experience was stellar, I will be cautiously trying them again.
