Although I believe in the cause and I have given monetary donations to SPCA in the past, I have a difficult time supporting this store. The moment you walk into the store, it smells like feces. The organization of the store is very disorganized. You will find many donation items that haven’t been marked on the ground everywhere. There will be even paper signs that tell you they haven’t organized it and not to touch. Worst of all is in the men’s section, there are a few racks you cannot access because of the donated items haven’t been organized. It seems like the people who run the stores are content on throwing donated items around. As well you have different men’s and women’s items mixed together in some racks. I did not find the men’s clothing very appealing. Expect to sift through everything as the clothes are not organized in sizes. I am sad to say this as the store employees seem like nice individuals, but BCSPCA needs to hire competent store managers to manage their stores.

None washed, not the best organization. Often overpriced because items are priced by type(shirt dress etc) not taking into account quality or condition.

Best thrift store on the west side of Vancouver. SPCA on West Broadway is great for a few reasons, 1) they add new stock constantly 2) their prices are ultra low AND negotiable 3) its never busy 4) the staff are friendly and they speak English

I have been here. I support the cause, however, I walk in there all the time and find very little actually worth adopting which is frustrating. I know that to donate is free, however, they need to make some effort in filtering the items to ensure that they are sell worthy. The clothing needs to be in better condition. On the flip side the staff are warm and welcoming.

This clothing store has really friendly staff but I find it a bit grungy, especially the dressing rooms. I’ve found great clothes at affordable prices in the past but my luck seems to have run out. :(

This place is great and the staff are wonderful! I have managed to find some really cool things here, especially as I piece together my Halloween costume and my homemade halloween trophies(made from found objects). I’m sad the larger sister store is gone, but this one is really good. Thanks to all the staff there! :D

I went in there for the first time today and wasn’t too impressed. It didn’t have too much selection and I didn’t like that there wasn’t a price on anything. There is a price chart behind the counter but it’s like ‘purses-$ 7+’. Which I don’t find to be a good deal. Especially when this place is really small. Won’t be going out of my to visit this place again. May be a good place for those who are really into digging for something special. but its not for me.

Sister shop to the SPCA Thrift Store next door. This is the shop that I donate my dated clothes to. The lady that accepts donations in the store is always so gracious everytime that I walk in to give her stuff. I don’t buy from here, I only donate clean clothes. The store smells«old» and musty. Likely it is from the old beams and flooring of the store.

Considering how much I’ve raved about the next-door-but-one SPCA furniture store, this clothing store ranks at the opposite end of the scale. There’s a cramped, moldy feeling to the store and the items tend to represent a low quality. I will concede that the store size limits what can be displayed. The layout links a number of formerly residential rooms into a confusion of cloth. The staff members here are friendly and chatty. I’ve found that the prices often do not equate to the quality of the garment. Only if I’m in the most last minute of a hurry, say finding a Halloween costume on Oct. 31st, will I consider entering this place. Your dollars are better spent support the SPCA at the nearby furniture store.
