Shoppers Drug Mart

Typical shoppers. Always lined up. Convenient for a quick stop when in the area. But I’m always accosted by homeless people when entering, which can be a bit sad at times.
Pretty small overall, and certainly not as good as the London Drugs in the hoods.
But wait! The new one will be opening soon; I’ve watched it’s slow «growth». The downfall will be that this neighbourhood will become even busier and parking will be even harder to find. (Although they will have an underground space for parking. Whether or not they reimburse you upon purchase remains to be seen.)
Not only will the new one be two stories, and much larger, but it will give Meinhardt’s a run for their money (for the basics, that is).
And then we’ll see what they do with this prime store space! So for now, it’s a fine place to frequent.
