Glad that zip lining for city dwellers finally got approved that makes QE park a little more active. On the flip side, it’s only 17 seconds which is a rip off for my $ 15(cause I bought online), in person it is $ 20 for adult with no spectacular view. Waiting time is too long and boring. Their inefficiency caught my attention when I saw people waiting to get on harnesses but there’s nothing available cause harnesses on the other side of the zip line where staff has to go every 15 minutes and carry them back for us. It is both tiring and time consuming. They could easily carry harnesses back on a motorized career, play some music for adventurous riders. Line up wasn’t too crazy but waiting time is too much for 17 seconds.

We came from downtown to Queen Elizabeth Park to do the twilight hours on a weekday, only for the attendant to tell us that they stop renting out clubs at 6 pm! Bummer! If you don’t have your own and plan on renting, be aware. I think this would have been a fun date night if we’d been able to try. The rest of the park is beautiful though!

I had no idea what Pitch & Putt even was until some friends of mine invited me to join them in a game. Essentially, it’s a nice mix of golf and miniature golf, where you use the driver to hit the ball to the green, and then use the putter to get the ball in the hole. We want on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon around 1:30PM. My friends brought a bunch of golf balls from home, so it cost us ~$ 14 each to play, and $ 2 for each club rental(you need both a driver and a putter). The course itself is nice but challenging, with lots of hills and trees. The course itself is over a mile and a half long, so you definitely feel like you got a workout at the end of the game. I’m absolutely awful at golf, but I still had a great time. The course took us just over two hours, but that was partially because the course was moderately busy. We normally had to wait a few minutes before we could play each hole, but it’s not a big deal. If you’re looking for a good way to enjoy the sunshine and try something new, check out the Pitch & Putt in Queen Elizabeth Park. Just make sure you take advantage of the free parking if you enter the park from 37th ave.

I don’t mind this Pitch and Putt. I don’t find it very well regulated, so there are always massive groups slowing down the flow. I also find so many fence jumpers, which also interrupts play. The course is normally maintained ok. It is shirt but still challenging. It is quite narrow, so accuracy is key. This is my bad luck pitch and putt. I’ve never had a decent score here(not that I have a really decent score to begin with lol). I believe it is free now that it is late October. It’s a good time to try out this course.

Very nice par 3 course. 18 holes, well maintained. Can get a bit crowded but the golf Marshall keeps it moving quickly. $ 14 for adult, $ 2 for each club rental, $ 2 for 2 golf balls.

Bring your own tees. Can get very busy so be prepared to wait at certain holes
