Service with a smile. When you walk in the place has this really bad stale beer smell so I was not looking forward to my meal. When it came, I will tell you I was pleasantly surprised. Best calamari I have had in a long time. Golden in color, tender with a fantastic sauce. The Cesar salad had fresh parm in it! I was in there for lunch with a large group that they accommodated right away. The atmosphere looks like it is better for night than for day, but the food was very good and reasonably priced. My cohorts had the chicken burger and hammers mash and the wrap and were all pleased with their meal. I would go back for sure.

The only reason we went here is because it had a pool table. We decided to get something to munch on so we ordered nachos, Mac and cheese and caesar salad. Well the nachos came with a small sprinkle of cheese and burnt, the lettuce was brown and the mac and cheese had a melted piece of processed cheese on top. It was suppose to come with a baguette but instead it came with 2 pieces of toasted white bread. We ended up sending everything back. DON’T EATHERE!

3.5 Pretty decent selection of craft beer at not so bad prices($ 5-$ 6 a pint). The place was dead quiet when I visited on a Saturday afternoon(3 p.m.) which I kinda enjoyed. I just wanted to relax and watch the Toronto Raptors game with a good beer — this place fit the bill. Their tater tots were better than I expected it was warm and crunchy and it paired well with my beer. I didn’t have a chance to try their other food offerings. Parking is a bit tough to find. I luckily found free street parking behind the bar.

Came by for some(overpriced) drinks. Parking is available on the side streets behind the pub. Tough to find though, as that’s where the Biltmore Cabaret is located. The inside is dingy, and it looks like they didn’t change much inside at all since the last time I was here(when it was the Locker Room). Same place, different awning. There are some bar games such as billiards, and darts. Staff were friendly, but didn’t come by too often. The food pricing looks in line with other places($ 10 – 15), but the beer? Yikes. $ 22 for a pitcher? Yikes. I choked when I saw the beer menu. Many of the beers are of the local craft variety, and can be filled(growler) for half the price. With that said, the The Bridge Brewing Uganda Sipi Coffee actually does taste like coffee, and the Storm Pineapple Pilsner goes down nice and easy, and the ladies like it too. I don’t think I can justify a return visit with such beer pricing, or the worn down ambience.

The food is mediocre at best. The staff are friendly but at times it seems like they are understaffed. We went there on Tuesday night and it was packed. We ordered a short rib poutine that took an hour to arrive. We kept asking the waitress and it was evident she didn’t ringnit it. It finally came and it was not what we ordered. Seriously, how hard is it to make a poutine? Won’t be going back anytime soon.

The staff there are very friendly and attentive, but the food is absolute garbage for the price. Just trash. Poor quality. It’s like the head chef went to the sale section at the local grocery store and bought the pre made boxed up no name crap. I was charged Cactus Club and Earls prices but the food looked and tasted like it was made in a college dorm room. The staff though are excellent. I will not eat there ever again but could return for a drink.

The beer selection at 12 Kings is great! I have tried something new with each return visit. The staff have put on great weekly events to attract new business. Wednesday night is still a little slower but Tuesday wings night and Thursday trivia tend to draw a pretty strong crowd. There are plenty of games to play, from pool and darts to Street Fighter and pinball. The arrangement of the facility makes it a little hard to be seen by your server if you are in a back corner and both of the last two visits I have made, there has only been a single server present, making service a little slower. All the while, our server recognizes us from visit to visit and engages in friendly banter. Would love to become a regular here and start sampling some of the home brews that I’ve seen bottled behind the bar. Many many TVs for sports night events, great venue for very large groups. Wish they had an outdoor patio, though on Kingsway I’m not sure the volume from passing cars would make for an enjoyable beer. Will be returning. I recommend Hot and Honey, Whiskey BBQ or Cajun wings.

Great friendly sports bar ruled by kings who love craft beer. A weekly cask and rotating taps of local craft brewers. They have a games night with free pool and pinball! They are big supporters of the local Whitecaps and Canucks teams but have a special place in their heart for the NFL and in particular the Seahawks. They also have special beer events involving local Brewers and tastings

Wow has this place fallen off since the grand opening. Do not go here for a sporting event. The sound system is terrible. You cannot hear any commentary. The nachos are 1⁄3 the size of the last time I was here. Good luck hearing anyone at your tablet with random music from the neighboring venue louder than anything here. I will not be coming back.

Best place to have nachos period. They are«layered» so the bottom, middle and top have cheese =). Great portion. This place is awesome for UFC as the time we went there was no cover(could of changed). Parking is tricky as there are meters. They also have pin ball machines, pool tables and lots of tv’s !

Looks a bit sketchy from the outside but is much brighter than expected inside. Local craft beer selection on tap is excellent and prices are very good. Only eaten appetizers but the wings were good and the fries were homemade. Staff are friendly and service was good. Lots of tv’s to watch sports on and a bunch of games to play.

Amazing service, amazing staff, nice ambiance and a huge variety of craft beer and food on menu. All of that at a very affordable price… Most importantly away from the mad rush of downtown and you get ample parking space. A must go place for game nights specially. Place has got pool table, dart boards and lots more fun stuff to keep you entertained…

Great beer. Good food. They gave us huge sides of french fries and macaroni & cheese. It feels like they didn’t really have enough servers, but we always had enough beer and food on the table.

Great new sports bar in Vancouver! I love the craft beer selection, the food tastes fresh and homemade! came here a few times in small groups and a few large bday parties and everyone had a blast :) my friends loved the drinks and the atmosphere! I would definitely recommend it for anything from a random night out to any special occasion! There’s a hall attached to the pub where we(Bell Canada) held our Christmas party in with over 160 people in December of 2014. Everyone loved it, it was the best Christmas party ever!!! 12Kings ROCKS!!!

I loved this place when it first opened!!! Beer list was minimalist but good quality. It still has good beer if not a very limited selection but the food has gone really down hill! It’s so sad because it used to be great home style food with good quality. Now it looks like Costco products served up cold and in small portions. Our waiter was totally coked out too which made it a little unnerving and the bathrooms were filthy. Looks like the clientele from upstairs is starting to influence how the place is run… so sad as it was awesome!

It feels like there’s a different bar in here every six months. 12 Kings is by far the best version, mainly for the terrific list of local beers.

This place is super fun! The beer selection is amazing, the food is great, and karaōke and pinball. Found the vibe to be very unpretentious and basically we all had a great time. It was jam packed last night(Saturday) for UFC fights. The owner Mony came and introduced himself and asked how we were doing. Super good guy who seems to know his regulars and treats them well. Great service. Check it out.

It’s a great place to come with a group. I think the karaōke could be run differently. Instead of letting the sign up sheets pile up I think it would be better to take them right away and sign them up because it gets disorganized and some people end up signing 3 times where as others don’t sing at all. I’ve been waiting and hour and a half and people who signed up after me are going way before me with no chance for me to sing in sight. It’s the only reason I’m here.

This place is great for a rip-roarin’ good time on a weekend night! The house karaōke by Sandy and Silky makes for a party. The guy running it claims to have over ½ million songs at your disposal, so try to challenge him. Don’t just rely on the listings in the book that floats around. 12 Kings reminds me of casual suburban or small town bars, which is rare as you get closer to downtown. Cheap eats, proper craft beer, open late, and a very casual atmosphere. More of these places please.

Pool table. Craft beer. Close to my house. Dart board. Decent prices. Didn’t try the pub food
