Food: 7⁄10 — Value: 7⁄10 — Service: 7⁄10 — Ambiance/Décor: 8⁄10 Had the half-waffle with ice cream($ 6.99). It’s frozen yogurt(I think?) so I’m not sure why they call it «ice cream» on their menus. It’s not. The dish looked nice and the individual components tasted good, but I’m not convinced froyo goes with waffles the same way ice cream does. In fact, I’d say nah… The other things people ordered were huge portions. I’m assuming they were shaved ice or something like that. Those would probably be better in general. You go up to the counter and order before sitting down. They don’t take your order from your table, but they do bring your food to you.

Nice place to visit in warmer weather. Owner is very nice and welcoming. Decided to pay this place a visit after passing by it numerous times. It was definitely a nice surprise. The menu is limited, but it was worth the visit(although might not be a regular customer). Given the name, the place offers froyo, your choice on a waffle or not. Came here with the boyfriend and ordered one green tea froyo on a waffle. The owner was considerate to half the waffle for us(without us requesting) and served it on separate plates. The portion was good enough to share with another person; might be a bit much to eat on your own unless you have a big appetite for waffles. Froyo was refreshing and light; not overly sweet which a lot of froyos can be. It was nicely decorated with some chocolate sauce drizzled over the waffle, accompanied by some fresh fruits. Atmosphere is a bit sparse; not much to see or rave about — a bit empty and boring actually… Considering it’s size and location, the owner could probably do a bit more with the deco of the café to get more customers and to make it more noticeable. Might not be ‘the place’ to visit if you’re looking for froyo at a fun and trendy place, but if you’re looking for some quiet time with froyo at the same time, you might be interested to give this place a try.

This place is pretty good. Shaved ice was pretty good. Wifi is better than most café places in the area. It’s kinda romote so it probably doesn’t get as much business but the quality of stuff here is good and the cakes are fresh.

First time to this Korean hang out place. Instead of late evening gathering, we choose to come here before dinner to cool ourselves down. There aren’t that many parking. If there are 3 parties each of a few people come by themselves, there won’t be enough spots for them. So in a way it hinders the business somehow. We order a few shaved ice to share. It has red bean, pineapple and other fruits. There is a small patch of vanilla yogurt at the top. The red bean paste is not as sweet the Japanese. It is not the shaved ice, fruits, red bean nor the yogurt that gets our attention. Rather it is the grain powder that is spread on top of the shaved ice that makes the difference. It is healthy, add the granularity and texture to the shaved ice. Something new for a dessert!

Not much going on here if you can’t have dairy. But if you can, there are a lot of yogurt and dessert items for you. Atmosphere is comfortable, if a little sparse and cold.

Came here for a BFF’s bday. There were 4 of us. We ordered 2 medium yogurts with toppings, 1 tea and 2 cold fruit drinks. For the price of the yogurt… it was definitely not worth it especially if you intend to get toppings. It’s not like it was a generous portion to begin with. The medium was in what i would call a small wine class. Before we could even tell them which flavour of yogurt to put in, she had already squeezed out the vanilla. I found the pricing very odd. If one were to order a small w/3 toppings does that mean it would cost more than a regular medium yogurt(no topping)? it just seemed a bit iffy. my bff asked for strawberries, mango and blackberries. i swear there were only 2 blackberries in that cup, few pieces of mango. strawberries were very tiny. it also seemed as though they added something that tasted like mascarpone in there. a bit like cream cheese. parking is definitely a problem. but if u come here late at night it should be fine. the parking lot is quite small. thankfully there are other businesses w/parking close by. not sure if we will be back again.

I’ve been to this place twice and never enjoyed myself. This place is too bright and didn’t feel cozy. I didn’t care for the cakes(which were tiny) nor the frozen yoghurt

The first dessert stop where I found sweet potato cake! Yum! I don’t know what authentic Korean frogurt is like, but it kick’s some of the local competitors in the rear. The yogurt is nice and soft, and the fruits are not frozen. I personally like the blueberry, cranberry, and black berry + green tea combination. It’s always nice to have something light and refreshing after a heavy dinner. If frogurt is not your thing, there is also fresh fruit slushies. I must say, the service was a bit slow the second time I dropped by. Not much parking either. Otherwise, I’d come back.

Drop by Yogoberri on a cold windy winter afternoon for a fro yo fix. I don’t think they expect anyone that is crazy enough to eat frozen yogurt when outside is freezing enough. their machine was not even on! So we waited for a couple of minutes and the frozen treats they served us was not frozen enough and was half melting when we are in the middle of eating it… and becoming non frozen yogurt treats. Small for $ 2.97 with no toppings… hmmm not the best value. The green tea flavour was not bad but if the matcha flavour can be a lot stronger. Yogoberri seems to be an ok place to go with your little girlfriend to hang out after dinner for a late nite treats before walking her home and giving her a good night kiss… Sweet Sweet!

North of the Finch station, about 15 minutes by foot, is a Korean-style frozen yogurt joint called Yogoberri. Yogoberri is patterned after frozen yogurt cafes that took Korea by storm 5 years ago. Red Mango is probably the best known frogurt chain in Korea. You pick your size(small, medium, large). You pick your frozen yogurt(vanilla or green tea). And you pick your toppings. Topping selection is generally where Korean frogurt differs from Western style yogurt. Koreans tend to be fearless in what they’ll dollop on their frogurt. And it’s always a topping, not a McFlurry style mix-in. Yogoberri, however, doesn’t take any risks in terms of topping options, although they do have«pat»(red bean). Frogurt tends to be a major date destination in Korea. It’s a place where a young man takes his lady fair and shows his sensitive, cultured side. So places like Red Mango and Canmore tend to turn up the girly girly. Tables with swings and vine covered ropes are common Seoul side(honestly, I’m not describing a leather bar). Yoggoberri offers a rather minimal, if clean and modern, frogurt experience. Portions at Yogoberri I found rather small for the price. In Korea, eating frogurt is a communal dining experience and a medium is a healthy sized bowl that a boy and his best girl or three recruits on a weekend pass can huddle over and consume together. Yogoberri servings come in narrow glasses that don’t encourage sharing. Kudos to Yogoberri for bringing Korean style frogurt to Toronto but I’d like to have seen a more Korean approach. I’d give this place a Cha-ka( ).
