This Winners located inside the Gerrard Square is a location I rarely frequent, but when I’m on a Winners/Marshalls’ mission I would sometimes venture to the east end in hopes of hunting down my particular item. Gerrard Square since the renovations has improved aesthetically, but it still looks depressing with hardly any shoppers. With that being said, Winners is definitely an eye sore within Gerrard Square and I love Winners. I thought it would be a bonus shopping at a quiet place, but the negative energy and lack of merchandise makes for a depressing shopping experience. The store is quite large, but the bare shelves and the plentiful spacing between the racks and shelves makes me cry inside as I trekked here to find disappointment. I thought coming to this location would be ideal because the selections would be similar to other locations, but definitely not the case. Sure they offer similar items, just the quantities and selections are very limited. Only on a couple occasion was I able to make the trip worthwhile by purchasing some facial wipes and some socks, but other than that I’m usually out of luck with completing my scavenger hunt as there’s barely anything to salvage.

This location can be hard on your wallet if you’re not careful. There’s always something here you’ll pick up that you had no intention of buying. I’ve gotten everything from cookies to DVDs to a sweater for a dog. Keep your eyes open bc many things once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Could use a bit more floor staff, but what store doesn’t these days?

Ahh! Winners! Winners in the Gerard Square Mall, nonetheless. However, don’t let this dissuade you. It’s clean, organized, and occasionally has some really awesome finds, despite the selection being a bit less than some it’s larger, sister locations. As in my $ 54(what?!) Seven A pocket jeans that I snapped up. As in, the great throw pillows I unearthed. As in, a small selection of work out wear and seasonal apparel. It’s worth checking out. At least once.
