Absolutely terrible! Don’t waste your time. If, in the unlikely event they have the item you came for, it will undoubtedly be past the best before date. Yet staff scurry to and fro sullenly doing I know not what. I have stopped going there altogether and go a much further distance to get my staples. What I find curious is that the store that was previously there(Family Fair?) had most everything with only two or three staff members. You have been warned…

I will never shop at this Sobeys ever again. No selection, horrible customer service, and really really disorganized staff and product wise. Just an overall circus.

Location is conveniently walkable, but the place is small, often a bit crowded. Also on the pricier side as far as grocery stores go, and not too much selection as far as produce goes. Staff are friendly though, and very helpful and efficient

Small version of a normal Sobeys. The store is cluttered and the quality of the food is dismal. I moved to the area a few weeks ago and was excited there was a Sobeys just down the road. My first time there I had a hard time finding fresh fruits and vegetables. Giving it a second chance it was disappointed to find the same past due produce. I only go there for last minute necessities now as I cannot trust that it will carry produce that will last more than a day or two in my fridge.

It’s a small store and somewhat cluttered but it manages to offer a full selection. The store is one of the cleanest I’ve seen in the city. Excellent selection of produce — I’ve never had something spoil the next day which was my experience at Metro. The staff is very nice, attentive and helpful — way above what you would experience at most Metro or Loblaws locations. Also it is not as expensive as people claim /think it is — most items are similarly priced at the Metro down the street at Yonge and Eglinton, and they do offer daily deals.

This has one of the worst layouts for a grocery store in the city. The entrance is easily confused as the exit and vice versa. Parking is terrible as wel. Other than those issues the store itself has decent selection for what it is.

It’s an urban dweller’s supermarket; in other words, it has a smaller footprint because they aim to serve the people living in the neighbourhood. I would not be surprised their target market is the apartment residents in Davisville, Balliol and Merton. The parking lot, for one, is small; if memory serves me correct, there are only 6, the most, parking spots. The target market is the typical apartment dweller who may be comprised of 1 – 2 family members. A larger household unit might be the secondary market because the items stocked are in limited quantities, smaller selection and no bulk items. I have to admit, the smaller selection has forced me to become a more disciplined shopper because I only buy what I need for the day(or the next 2 – 3 days). The fresh produce selection is sufficiently stocked. I have no complaints because they have what I need. I don’t buy meats in any supermarket, so I can not comment on the small meat aisle. The fresh breads, cheese, and deli counter are sufficiently stocked, if you don’t require specialty items. The canned goods items are in limited quantities and not every conceivable. The cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a mini version of a regular Sobeys. under their«Urban Fresh». So don’t expect to find everything. but I usually find most Sobeys’ selections are a little boring in general. At least they have Van Houtte’s coffee beans in bulk and with a coffee grinder if you want some freshly grounded coffee. 3 cashiers were opened when I were there, and they were all willing to help me cash out! A few parking lots in front of the store, but free 1 hour parking on the Balliol Street.

At 8,000 square feet, it’s more boutique than supermarket(complete with crystal chandelier sparkling above the cash register). Designed with the pedestrian neighborhood crowd in mind(there are only 10 parking spots available), this location is best utilized for quick stops and short shopping lists after work. Operating under the moniker«Urban Fresh» this store does a decent job of structuring displays to maximize space. The produce section, for example, is flush with fresh selections to suit any appetite despite its smaller size. They also offer a selection of ready to eat hot and cold prepared foods for easy meals on the go. Keep in mind, because of its smaller size, the aisles are narrow and the selection is limited. Those with an extensive shopping list of ingredients would be wise to look elsewhere. Having said that, the household staples are plentiful and the prices are reasonable when compared to other boutique grocers like Pusateri’s.

3⁄3 separate visits this location has failed to have the standard ingredients I needed for a recipe. Here are the ingredients that led me to this poor review: Can of Kidney Beans Can of Beef Consommé Sausage(any kind would have been fine) I just sort of figured third time would have been the charm. Guess not. :) Anyway I’ve learned my lesson, save yourself some time, and get your groceries somewhere else.

This is probably one of the worst of the Soby’s I’ve been to. I work across the street so it’s an easy lunch BUT myself and my doctor(boss) have been sick from the sandwiches twice, the soup is ALWAYSGONE. I dont think they keep an eye on the freshness of their product here. I’m sure it’s good for a grocery shop but with the premade salads and sandwiches I’ve stayed clear of them now. I’m lucky if I can get a soup 20 minutes into the lunch hour. I had one of my patients tell me they were sick from the sandwiches from here. Does anyone else go this Sobeys and have the same problem?
