Such a lovely store, and a truly wonderful experience. Patient, friendly consultants who know just what will look good on you. The hour went by too fast! I didn’t really believe in «the one», and «you’ll know», but a certain Ivy and Aster gown made me burst into tears, much to my surprise. And twice, too! I’m excited to go back and try it again, with more time to adjust the fit and see what it would look like when the size is right.
Every bride should make a stop at Sash and Bustle for the unique selection, and the personalized experience.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon under the assumption that I will be the only bride-​to-​be in the store since this was advertised on their website, however, this was not the case. There were a couple of other groups there already and just seemed like there were a lot of people around. They try to separate the groups as best as they could but it’s difficult since the place isn’t that big. With that comes the issue with not having all the dresses available to me (since the other groups took a bunch).
Other than that, the experience was pretty good — Andrea was super helpful and nice. The dresses are quite unique as well but did not have a lot of variety which wasn’t an issue for me. I was able to find a couple of «maybes» and Andrea helped me take pictures of them (since I visited alone) and wrote down the dress names and prices.
Definitely worth a visit but perhaps go during the week where there are fewer people.

Honestly, Sash & Bustle is just the place to feel like a glamorous non pretentious bride.
From the moment you walk in you are catered to, there is no pressure, only leisure. Vanessa & Andrea are the perfect owners — it’s no wonder they are sisters!
Initially my first appointment was with Andrea who was everything to me that day, she was helpful, offered positive criticism, sized up my body and helped me find the perfect shape. Vanessa was with another bride but would swing around the other side of the room to take a peak whenever she could.
My budget was healthy and all of their gorgeous dresses hanging on their racks were up for my choosing! I tried on several dresses from Sash & Bustle and they all could of been serious contenders. The fit, the flare, the glamour … OH MY! I need to mention that while my budget was healthy the range of dresses and prices are incredible. Do not be discouraged based on my review — call ahead and ask the range before you book an appointment.
I had tried on about 20 dresses before visiting Sash & Bustle, salons that included: White, Pearl Bridal House, and Beckers with very little luck… I was given amazing advice that your salon stylist is the most important person to you that day, you’ve got to have a connection with your stylist because that really helps in the process. With Andrea and Vanessa it was easy — it was like shopping with my girlfriends — we just clicked … I knew after my first appointment my dress would be found at Sash & Bustle.
I returned for my second appointment (yesterday!) with Vanessa to show some of my bridesmaids the contenders. S&B we’re hosting the Hayley Paige trunk show and I could not stop thinking about one of my Hayley Paige contender dresses! Upon arrival I was greeted like an old friend, BIG hugs, introductions to my friends and we were off to the races and quickly went to work. I pulled a few new gowns, a few contenders and of course, the one I couldn’t stop thinking about!
Once again I tried on some new shapes, gowns — ALL were stunning! I was a little scared I would change my mind for I loved them all! I ended up saving my favourite from the first appointment for last … and I’m so glad I did, for when I came out the dressing room the salon went quite and everyone tearing. I glanced one look down the dress and up at the full length mirror and just sobbed. This was MY dress.
I couldn’t of been happier in that moment and am so honoured to call myself a Sash & Bustle bride. Thank you Andrea & Vanessa for working so hard to carve out such a fabulous place for brides.
