Pharma Plus

Hey! Cashier! If you are spending time explaining how your coupons work to your elderly customer, and your co-​worker is walking her customer through the weekly flyers, do not tell me you «are not taking your time.» If the third cashier working decides to close her register as I am walking over to try that one, and then ignores me when I tell her she closed just before I got there and proceeds to DO NOTHING, definitely don’t tell me you «are not taking your time.» At 1PM on a Monday, while the line grows, you ARE taking your time. And I am damn straight going to comment on it!
So, what else to say about the Pharma Plus near my office? I mean, besides the terribly slow check-​out lines. This place is cramped. So cramped that you will bump into multiple people trying to find what you need. And don’t even try to get cold medicine! Especially now, when other people have colds! The 3 of you will be jammed into a space so tight you’ll feel claustrophobic even if you’re an agoraphobe!
No, best bet is to walk a couple of blocks north and go to Shoppers. I can’t guarantee the check-​out is quicker, but the selection is better, and you have room to breathe.
