I moved to this area and i am so happy to find Outpost Coffee shop, I love their coffee i usually get cappuccino with“fancy milk”(almond milk) thats how they call it and i love it. They roast the coffee at the shop, so everything is always so fresh!!! The staff is so friendly, the place has a warm atmosphere.

If you are a coffee purist this place checks all the boxes. The location is right around the corner from Dundas West station, near lots of parking options(although pay options). The owner, Tony is extremely knowledgeable and polite which really adds to the experience. Its got a great hipster vibe, a roll up door for summer patio coffee, beautiful exposed wood beams, and wood lined counter. The coffee is out of this world with many options. I personally had a blend directly delivered from Brazil. I also had a rose flavored donut which tasted like it was made just for me. They take most forms of payment including cash, credit, and debit. They are also part of the OPALS rewards program.

Solid neighborhood coffee shop. Guys who work there are really nice. Seems like a great place to grab a coffee with a friend. Not totally ideal for working because it’s pretty busy and on the smaller side. Coffee was good, though not amazing.

Great spot to grab a quick coffee on the run or to sit down and catch up with a friend on a Sunday morning. Super friendly and engaging barista staff, that never gets flustered even when they have a rush of customers. Tip: bring your own travel mug and you’ll get more coffee than their standard to go cups. The chocolate almond croissants are delightful!

This place is a gem. The décor is open yet cozy, and super hip(even the bathrooms are gorgeous!). The music is great. The coffee, food and other drinks are the highest quality and delicious(they even have tons of gluten free and vegan options!). The staff are funny, quick, and incredibly kind to all of their customers. If you’re looking for a place to meet a friend, have a bite, or get some work done, this place is highly recommended!

Hands down my favourite in the area(including Runnymede and Roncy.) Some might argue Cherry Bomb, and certainly the two coffees compete, but the service is the ‘cherry on top’ here. Always friendly(never a pout behind this counter) and very knowledgeable. Coffee is an art here, and is respected like good wine!

You won’t regret it. Perfectly and freshly roasted and ground espresso. Also, tasty proper fresh Croissants. Great friendly and interesting staff. Its a 5⁄5 tie with Cabin Fever down the road. Enjoy!

This is a very nice, cozy coffee shop. I really liked how they open the doors to their patio facing bloor street on warm days! My single Americano was delicious flavouring for only 2.75which is pretty average pricing. I found it really cool how they roast there own coffee in house and you can actually see it: the man who owns the shop told me about it and let me know a lot about the coffee they sell. Overally it was a nice coffee outing and I will be back since I’m in the neighbs often.

Beautiful little café in the high park neighbourhood. A bright space with gorgeous looking food(I didn’t try anything but was very tempted) and carefully made drinks.

Stopped by this lovely little coffee shop with a friend, while on the way to High Park. Initially, I wasn’t planning on purchasing anything but after speaking with Troy, the extremely personable owner, I had to give the Americano a try. I’m glad I did because it had a delicious flavour. They roast and grind coffee beans in house which is great to see. I’ll definitely be stopping by again when I’m in the area.

Wandered in here while on the way to check out the cherry blossoms in high park. Gorgeous interior! Loved the ambience and Troy(owner?) was very welcoming and made us feel very welcome. Tried a half caff Americano and it was really delicious! Also grabbed a Oreo cookie which was a cookie with crushed up Oreos in it… DEELISH! I loved that they have the wifi password posted at the cash register as well. Lovely place and can’t wait to return.

I felt like I walked into a dream –picture 2 cute men in vests & bowties standing behind the bar next to a big shiny coffee roaster. I LOVE the contrast of this café in a neighbourhood drowning in fast food & coffee chains. I’m really drawn to the simple, friendly, community vibe … the delicious coffee and menu are sparkles on the cake. Dear Cherry Bomb, our love affair is over. Dear Outpost, thank you for BEing. Love, Kia

I’m overdue for posting my five star review here, as I am a happy regular. This place is my escape from the chaos at home AND a major motivation for going to the gym(30 minutes on the treadmill earns me an americano and maybe, a lemon square). Coffee etc: very good coffee and espresso drinks, with an intriguing menu of other drinks to try. They are fussy about what they produce and that translates into carefully crafted java. For some reason they add the milk/cream/sweeteners for you. I’m a bit of a control freak so it unsettles me, but since I’m a control freak, I think i get it. Lovely baked goods. I haven’t tried the sandwiches, but they are always selling out so I’m guessing they are good. Also carry some cool looking soft drinks and(what?) green smoothies. Atmosphere: friendly cheerful owner/operators. Staff are also pleasant. Lots of regulars getting coffee to go and to stay. No one making you feel weird about lingering or staring into space. Great music every time I’ve been there. Children/baby friendly. Group friendly but only enough room for one group at a time. Wonderful afternoon sunlight if the weather is right. So needed on this strip of Bloor!

As good as it gets in this neighborhood! Lovely spot with great décor, enough seating, and a cozy yet airy feel. The espresso drinks and snacks are great too! Troy has great attention to detail and has clearly put effort into curating the elements of a terrific café.

I like this little place! The guys who run the place are super friendly and helpful. They let us try the different blends and took the time to explain them to us. The coffee is roasted in house which is great. If you buy some beans you get a free coffee right now. :) The atmosphere is super clean and non-pretentious; the front has a garage door opening to the sidewalk. Fresh flowers and lemon water are there for your enjoyment~ I wouldn’t try consuming the flowers though. I had an ice mocha. It was really tasty, but more than I’d normally want to pay. They explain some of their high prices are due to some sustainability type things and they try to keep their coffee ethically sourced, so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. They keep some interestingly flavoured brews, so go in and give them a try!

When I saw this place under construction i thought: ‘It’s about time this side of the neighbourhood had a coffee house!’ We checked it out and was not disapointed. I ordered a Café Mocha and my mum ordered a coffee(they have daily blends to choose from). The café mocha was nice and rich made with almond milk(yay non milk options!) also, all hot beverages come with a complimentary double chocolate shortbread made in house. We later ordered a hot chocolate and one of their ‘summer specials’: ontario peach purée(prepared in house) with thyme, mango and green tea. Food — foccacia stuffed with saussage and scrabled egg and a bacon stuffed croissant. Both were full of flavor and delicious. A good on the go breakfast! Nabbed a cinnamon cookie before I left and it was a nice snack– the type of cookie that was good with or without a hot beverage. Very friendly staff– informative on their products and they would check to make sure you are enjoying your prepared beverage and food. Definitely recomend this spot for morning pick me up or just a nice place to relax.
