NCIX – Scarborough

I’ve never used their online service so this is a review of my store experience. The person who helped me out was really nice and knowledgeable about technology and the products that the store carries. He asked relevant, specific questions to make sure that we were getting a product that would suit our needs.
I honestly was expecting that this store would be some sketchy place where the associates wouldn’t know much about technology and just try to rip us off. So glad I was wrong… XD

I honestly never have any problems when I’m here.
Staff is friendly and quite educated on all the products, they really know what their talking about.
Whenever I need something for my computer, this is the NCIX I go to. My boyfriend and I are here quite a bit (almost every weekend).
If it’s not buying stuff in store, they do online pickup purchases quite smoothly too.
It’s just go in, buy/​pick up what you need, then you’re out. No hassle.

Very horrible store. Ignorant sales, very slow service, with a bunch of «out of date» price tags that turn out to be much more expensive when you are paying for it.

Since the store opened I have been shopping there regularly. It is not comparable in size to popular stores such as BestBuy or Futureshop, but the prices as always much cheaper.
The best thing about NCIX is the store pick-​up option for orders. You browse through their helpful and well organized website to find the items you need. Then you can check other Canadian retailers if they have the same item available. If so, they will price match any item, whether online or in-​store. You choose in-​store pickup and the item will be available for pickup within 1 business day. This completely avoids shipping costs to you even when this location doesn’t have the item in stock.
The sales staff is friendly as they can be. Every time I go in to pick-​up an order, the staff is quick and nice. We have a nice chat about the item I have a bought and they show that they are interested and passionate about their job.
Returns and exchanges are within 14 days and there has never been any hassle with my experience.
Since the first time I bought from them, they have kept me as a loyal customer that will continue to purchase from them.

NCIX has opened up a few retail stores in GTA. It is really a web-​based computer hardware retailers that concentrated their sales and effort in Greater Vancouver Area but now they are trying for the GTA market.
The website is really helpful and informative… it is great to do all the research online, do price comparison and then now you can in fact go into a store and talk to someone face to face if you have questions.
Dropped by the store on a cold winter night and they do have notebook, desktop and accessories on display… price seems to be inline with other stores…
The reason I giving NCIX a 3 star is because the sale associates here were super nice… even I look like someone not going to buy anything or not even know what I am looking for… he came over and gave me a desktop calender. I know it does not worth much… but it is really the thoughts that count??!
Now at least I have a good impression of the business and if I am looking for something… NCIX will be one of the business I will consider!
