A friend recommended CoCo after a trip to Taiwan about a year ago and of all the bubble tea places this is the only one I’ll go out of my way for. Why? Well it’s pretty comparable in terms of milk teas but I love their slushes(especially with sago). Only knock is if there a long line up, ordering slushes feels like it can takes forever but otherwise a service is relatively quick. I usually recommend the slush or the deal of the month to people who haven’t been. -

We got the 3 guys and the regular bubble tea. Their quality is good and sized well however of the major bubble tea cafes on Kingsway it is the most expensive. A large is about $ 6.09 for the 3 guys(pudding pearls and grass jelly). The size is about the same as a regular bubble world or a large chatime but a few dollars more. My one issue came today when trying to get their promotional grand opening deal where you buy any large drink you get ANY other drink of their top 10 for free at a regular size. But at the till I was told I can only have a free regular bubble tea. People may think oh sure he’s just being whiney… Well guess what I got it yesterday no problem so why the sudden change in the advertised deal? Anyways: good drinks, interesting flavors, well known brand in Tai wan. Expensive and not as competitive with other bubble tea cafes. Up your game coco if you want to stay in business with the other cafes. Wifi, stamp cards, price competitively and stick to your advertised deals.

I was excited to try this brand from the states, however after trying their drinks and seeing their menu I don’t find anything special. Maybe the locations in the states are better? Their menu is confusing to me because of their names…3 ladies? 2 men? It’s very similar to any other bubble tea shops in the area. You get to choose your sugar and ice levels. Price is around $ 5 for a reg size drink. I’m indifferent, I’d come back for a drink if it was the only place open. But I think I’m more partial to other places for their drinks.

Passed by and saw this new bubble tea establishment. I’ve seen in listing that coco is one of the top 10 bubble tea places in Toronto so I had to give it a try. In this busy midland Plaza with limited parking. Decided to try the mango sago green tea. The sago were pretty interesting. Bigger than your normal sago in desserts, but smaller than tapioca. And there was a bit to chew on. The tea itself didn’t have anything special. I really appreciate fresh brew fruit teas and this place didn’t offer too many choices for that, so I prefer presotea or share tea within the area. Maybe I’ll come back to try their famous 2 ladies or 3 guys one day!

Ordered a matcha milk tea with tapioca. The drink itself was nice but the tapioca was too gooey and soft. It’s either been boiled for too long or has been sitting in the pot for too long.

A blogTO article under the title of «Best Bubble Tea in Toronto» led me to Coco Fresh Tea & Juice. It is a clean and spacious bubble tea joint that I never knew existed. Definitely comparable to other bubble tea places, but this one is somewhat limited in drink selections. Our first time visiting(thanks to Unilocal reviews), I decided to try the 2 ladies drink. Mmmmm yum! Milk tea + pudding + tapioca ^_^ Second visit we decided to customize our drink. Milk tea + sago + pudding + herbal jelly. OHEMGEE it was deelish! Almost Godly. The sago instead of the usual tapioca made the drink so much better. Even with 30% sugar & more ice the drink was still quite sweet(the sago was sweet). But so unique & yummy. Highly recommend. I have yet to try their macchiato or latte but it looks very promising. Next week!

This place reminds me of Cha Time, but the logo and set up is not as attractive. However, the 3 Guys tea has tapioca, pudding and grass jelly, the tea is good quality and the milk is very fresh and creamy. The pricing is similar to Chatime. I found the tapioca a bit chewy and hard, but the tea was excellent. You can choose how much sugar and ice to put in, which I liked. BlogTO had said that it was the top place but I would have to disagree. I still would put Chatime and Green Grotto above this place in terms of the whole package(ambience, marketing, toppings), but the tea itself is really good.

Had the 3 guys drink. Creamier than cha time, but I didn’t like how chewy the tapioca was. Price is still expensive considering the fact that it’s not as popular as cha time.

Yummy! We stopped by here for a refreshing drink, and I was pleasantly surprised with how clean the inside of the restaurant was. I ordered a mango green tea and it was delicious! I loved this experience, and I came across this location thanks to Unilocal. Will 100% stop by when I’m in the area again.

The customer service here is amazing. I got the green tea yakult and it tasted 100% watered down and sour. I told the girl at the counter and she got me an exchange even though the store was busy. I’ll be back to give the other drinks a try even though I didn’t like the yakult because of her.

Tea tastes very fresh! Not overly creamy. Was asked what they recommended for a first timer at Coco, and they recommended the«2 Ladies», which is their black milk tea with tapioca and pudding. Got regular ice and 70% sugar. I would definitely reorder this! Ordered the mango slush with sago. Didn’t adjust the sugar content and it was sweet. Next time I would do 50% sugar. The sago as a topping option was nice as not a lot of places offer sago. They also accept Vicinity points. Buy 10 drinks, get 1 free. Will come back and try their other flavours.

Hot Matcha Milk Tea was $ 4.50 after tax($ 4.00 before tax) and was served in a beautiful takeout cup that almost looked like one of Starbucks’ plastic versions of their takeout cups, save that this one wasn’t plastic. What I mean is that it almost looked plastic, it was so nice. It also came with a cardboard hot beverage holder(this one’s a plus for service, cuz there are places that don’t give you a hot beverage holder for hot beverages, and for a person with sensitive hands, like me, that gets a tad bothersome). It tasted, in my friend’s words, like green tea ice cream melted down and heated up. This was at 70% sugar. I could tell that they had used enough matcha powder(which some places really don’t), and it looked lovely and milky. It was also a beautiful green color.

Got an original black milk tea with 70% sugar, which was still too sweet. I would suggest 50% if you prefer just a hint of sweetness. The milk tea was okay… I could not detect any tea in it as it was overpowered by milkiness and sugar. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t THAT good either. Servers were nice and it wasn’t too busy at the time I went in. I don’t think I would return, but it was nice to try. I’ll stick to ChaTime.

How awesome would it be to be able to deliver CoCo from the comfort of your own home? Well, now you can, and it’s awesome beyond belief. I already wrote a review on CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice(the Midland location,) but I wanted to add that I just ordered delivery from them, and I was more than pleased! Super happy that: a) delivery was free(=from 1 – 2 p.m. on weekdays, I believe), b) the order process was friendly and efficient c) the delivery itself was on-point. I ordered one 2 ladies drink(hot), one 2 ladies(cold,) and a mango slush. The hot drink was still very hot, and the man who delivered it extremely kind, even preparing with exact change. HIGHLY recommend! Pro tip: Please consider tipping if you’re going to order delivery. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I can vouch for how much it means to someone working minimum wage, especially someone who delivers what you ordered on time with great service. Great job, CoCo — I’ll definitely be ordering again!

I’m in love with the coco! 3.5÷5 I actually like this place more than Chatime(I’m ready for the hate). I tried this place first when I was in Taiwan so I was hyped to discover it in Scarborough. I knew everything tastes better in Taiwan, so I lowered my expectations accordingly. Much like other reviewers, the bubble tea is a tad sweeter. Make sure to lower your sweetness level to your preference. I’ve tried the lemon king, 3 guys, taro slush, and the mango passion fruit slush. 100% my favourite is the mango passion fruit slush simply because it is delicious. It actually tastes very fruity rather than unbearably sweet — at least in my opinion. All of them are pretty safe options though. Taro slush is super sweet. I like the tapioca here much better as well. Bonus: they just started passing out vicinity cards so make sure to snag one!

Okay this would have been a 2 star because of the long wait of making these drinks when its not even busy. Literally 2 other people in here and it took them 15 minutes to make 3 drinks. With 3 staff. I’m sorry … But seriously if you’re going to make it in the bbt business you gotta be fast. I’ll give it a 2.5 However, the bbt is pretty good. I got the 3 guys $ 5 — milk tea with grass jelly pudding and tapioca … Make sure to get less ice and 30% sugar. Good thing is being able to customize it. Bro got a sago mango green tea $ 3.70 and it was pretty sweet even though he got 50% sugar. The layout is like the chatime warden location. But like I said, if you’re going to get bbt, prepare to have a long wait. Might as well go somewhere else. Nothing that other bbts don’t have.

Love the milk teas! If you’re into the original milk tea, you’re going to love any of the milk teas on the menu. I love ordering the 2 ladies, I’m a bit of a sweet tooth… So you might want to do 50% sugar or less. I’ve been here three times since it’s open and the taste is consistent. The guy with the glasses is very nice and has very great management skills. I highly recommend going here if you love milk tea creamy. I am going to try the sago mango green tea next time(sounds good!). I’d give this place a try if you like Chatime. Btw, this place reminds me of a place in BC, Vancouver«bubble world» so for all you BC’ers that know that place, you should definitely check this place out if your in Toronto(Scarborough). It’s also very spacious compared to Chatime(I feel so crammed when I’m in any of the Chatime’s in Toronto, so this place would be good for studying or chilling with your friends).

3 Guys or 2 Ladies? 3 Guys: Pearl, Milk Pudding and Grass Jelly VS2 Ladies: Pearl and Milk Pudding CoCo Fresh Tea is quite promising as an alternative to Chatime that located in the strip plaza just south of it. But I really dislike the Parking here as the space are tight and all these one way signs. 3 Guys($ 5.50) Less Ice 30% Sugar still on the sweet side. I love the chewiness of the tapoica but grass jelly is way better at Chatime. With the Milk Pudding, the drink was a little filling. I was on a BBT coma… Service was slow but all the servers were sweet and kept apologizing to everyone. There are some«Back to School» Special at $ 3.50 a drink. Get the stamp card as you can get a free one after 10 drinks. Maybe back?

tonight was the first night this store was open. after eating at the dumpling house, we stepped outside and noticed this bubble tea place. in we went to order our drinks. prices were pretty much the same as other places. i forgot to mention i did not want a lot of ice and sugar. the drink i got was called«3 guys» which consisted of tapoica, pudding and grass jelly. it was pretty sweet and the cup was full of ice. the actual tea was not bad, but it was just too sweet for me. will i come back… i don’t think so. compared to Chatime, this place falls a little short. if i was in the area, i would rather go around the corner to Marathon and get a HK milk tea there.
