I always go to this pharmacy for all my over the counter medications and prescriptions as well. I’ve been to many pharmacies in the city and this is the only pharmacy where I get my prescriptions done within 10 minutes. Unlike the ridiculous 1 hour waits at other places. The pharmacist is great and I’ll continue to go here.

Prior to this I’d only purchased prescriptions from this establishment. Last week I purchased a pair of forearm crutches here for which I was charged 13% tax. When I said to the pharmacist that I thought that assistive devices were not taxed he was quick to come back and authoritatively advise me that prescriptions were the only thing not taxable in his store. Being newly handicapped I wasn’t totally sure of situations such as this so I let it slide ’cause it was only $ 9.10 on the $ 70. purchase. After doing research and checking with other retailers later I found that, to the best of my knowledge, assistive devices are indeed tax exempt. So I would advise that if you’re buying any supplies for the handicapped, you make you’re purchases elsewhere unless you feel like getting into an OTC dispute with Morris, the owner.(I think that was his name and I’m pretty sure he’s the owner.) I think he should have a better grasp of the tax laws pertaining to his business!

Maurice Fitzpatrick has been my pharmacist for years, ever since I used to live on Roehampton Avenue, one street north. Always, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Great service with a personal touch, what usually lacks in the Shoppers Drug Martsof this world. I highly recommend this pharmacy!
