I came in and when I told the girl I was there for the TeamBuy swing analysis package she seemed a bit nervous and said «The owner said we’re not allowed to sell that anymore.» I said «Excuse me?» and she said «Yeah, he said that people were trying to rip him off by coming in and just doing the swing analysis and not playing any golf.» I told her that it didn’t say anywhere on the TeamBuy page that I had to play golf at the regular price She looked embarrassed and said «Yeah I know but he’s getting upset that people are coming in just for that so he said we’re not to sell that package to anyone anymore.» I told her that we had driven in from Thornhill and that I couldn’t believe that they weren’t going to honour the advertisement that they posted. She just talked around it but said «The owner said we’re not allowed to sell that anymore. The simulators cost $ 50 an hour to run so he can’t make money off of people spending $ 5». I told her that really wasn’t my problem but she resfused to budge and said the «owner was out of town.»

Sounds like I came in just after the previous reviewer. I also tried to take advantage of the TeamBuy promotion and booked an online session for my dad and myself. I never received any confirmation email so I ended up calling in and the guy who answered seemed confused and didn’t know what I was talking about so I ended up having to book manually over the phone.

My dad and I left pretty disappointed but at least we learned never to return to Inner Golf. It’s too bad the owner decided that people responding to an advertising campaign that he ran are «trying to rip him off» by following the guidelines of the ad.
