Golf Town Canada

I went in today to pick up some gear prior to the opening of the season. I was surprised at the amount of stuff crammed into what appears from the street to be a fairly small space. They have all the usual gear, plus a simulator area and repair shop. I was greeted at the door, and a couple of employees said hello as I browsed around. No sales pressure, no repeated questioning about whether I needed help. I felt like I could take my time, yet help would be available if I had any questions.
The fellow at the front was kind enough to match a promo that was advertised on their website even though I was buying in-​store. I felt like I got good pricing on the items I purchased. This was probably my best Golf Town experience yet, and I’ve been to just about every one in SW Ontario.

Really helpful and friendly staff — I think they work on commission — helps make Golftown a nobrainer if you’re looking for kit downtown. Best part has to be the driving range simulator which lets you pound away at a virtual bucket of balls and be back at the office before anyone even notices you were gone.
