The place needs a serious renovation. I think it has a lot of potential to attract more people but it’s lacking a lot. First off, its unhygenic as staff don’t use gloves to make the sandwiches. I see them mop the floor and make someone’s sandwich the next second… um GROSS! Second, they use very cheap ingredients and it doesn’t look fresh. I only come here when I’m really in a pinch but there are definitely much better and cleaner places around the area.

3.99 for breakfast and including coffee? Seriously! That’s a steal man! Cheaper than McD’s and Timmy’s. I got 2 eggs, a sausage patty, a fresh grilled hash brown, and toast for only $ 3.99. Sweet deal. And location rocks too. On the south side of Bloor on the Yonge-Bloor subway station. Pass it everyday. So for basically 3.99 — you can get a breakfast sandwich/bagel of your choice(practically) and a coffee or just a «Big Breakfast» like what I got, but without the coffee. And for this price — they take debit and credit! SWEET! Food is okay tasting, ambiance is a bit lacking(it’s in a subway for crying out loud), but for the price — can’t complain. Not bad express place.

I’ve passed by Features Café many a time on my way to and from work. Decided to stop in to grab a quick lunch. Ordered a BLT sandwich($ 3.50). They had a lunch combo for $ 5.99 which included a drink and fries with the BLT but I passed since I’ve been eating too many fries lately. Service was quick and friendly. BLT was as decent and as expected. With its proximity to the subway, Features Café is a good option to grab a coffee, pastry or lunch on the go.
