This place is not gross! They actually have decent sandwiches. Wayyyy better than Timmie’s and at a similar cost. More delicious than Subway too — and cheaper. Service is friendly. All in all, decent lunch and breakfast option.

I’m not a country style fan, but this one is pretty darn good. Super quick service and the manager actually checked in with people to see how the food and service was. Nice touch for a coffee shop.

I’ve had several run-ins with this particular Country Style and it’s usually when I need some form of rescuing. Normally, it was when I’d watch games at the Toronto Central Rangers Supporters Club when we were housed out of the Duke of Gloucester( ) across the street. There are games that are played at 7:30am in the morning and, not known for my prowess in the morning pre-coffee, this place has done the right thing by not only providing me with a tasty bit of coffee, but did it quickly and in a fashion that did not result in unnecessary casualties. Since our club has now moved to the Madison( ), I was not getting there often. Until, I found myself an agent at Fusion Artists( ) which is right above this coffee emporium. There have been times where I’ve arrived too early to be dealt with for auditions, or have been caught out and in a rush so much to get to the agency that I neglected to get a coffee in the morning, which, as discussed above is of absolutely no use to anyone. The staff here are consistently friendly, provide fast service, and the food for what it is is decent enough. Certainly decent enough to prevent my growling stomach from performing a duet on tape. Sign one of a good donut shop: There’s always a line-up when you go in. Sign two of a good donut shop: They deal with the line quickly and efficiently. This place wins on both counts.
