The laser technicians are not very experienced. I paid a lot of $$$ to have laser hair removal done on a large area and the hair didn’t shed after the session as per usual. I usually enjoy a full month of being hair free after treatment but this wasn’t the case.
My guess is the technician didn’t use the right intensity for my hair type.
Won’t be coming back to this clinic!

Had my first treatment today, I did laser on a couple parts of my body. The technician was very knowledgable, answered all my questions and concerns as I was a bit sceptical but felt really relaxed during the whole process. Such a beautiful environment, very spa like. I would definitely recommend Canada Med Laser. I look forward to my next treatment. Thank you for everything.

Laser hair removal has changed my life. Worth every. Single. Cent. It has saved me time in the shower, money on razor blades… waxing but first and foremost, the EMBARRASSMENT.
As someone of Italian and Greek decent I am H-​A-​I-​R-​Y.
Throughout the last year I have been going to Canada Med Laser where I’ve treated almost every major area on my body. I’ve done my upper lip, arms, underarms, Brazilian, stomach, legs and toes. I’ve completed around 6 – 8 sessions on most of these areas and the difference is unbelievable. Under my arms you would never even believe a single hair ever grew.
The clinic is BRAND NEW, super clean, hygienic and conveniently located.
Most of the staff have been pleasant (with the exception of one who is no longer there) and made me feel comfortable despite uncomfortable situations (zapping hair from your bikini area).
Highly recommend, plus they have fantastic promos.

Highly recommended to all who look for professional place and seek knowlegeable medical laser treatment. In addition, my facial chemical treatment was above all my expectations. After which my skin rejuvenated and got glowing, even and young appearance. Going to get it again.

— First Chemical Peel —
This was my first time at Canada MedLaser and my experience there was amazing! I did a simple google search to find a good dermatologist clinic and found them. I sent an email asking about prices for their Valentine’s Day promotion and got a call back almost immediately. I wasn’t exactly sure what procedure I needed done so I booked a consultation the following week (FYI, consultations are free).
When I went in, I was greeted and was served tea which made me feel like a valued client, even though it was my first time there. I met with the technican, her name is Margarita and wow she’s amazing! She’s super friendly, honest and informative. I told her I was a student and because of that, I honestly feel like she didn’t try to up-​sell just to get my money. She was honest in telling me what she recommended which was financially doable for my situation. During my consultation she showed me before and after pictures of people with similar situations and explained in detail how everything worked. At the end of my consultation, she actually showed me how the chemical peel worked and tested it on my wrist so I could feel it. I ended up doing a chemical peel right after my consultation. She explained what she was doing step by step which put me at ease. After my chemical peel my face looked immediately smoother and felt so soft! I have mild acne scarring so realistically I have to continue with the chemical peels in order to see noticeable results.
When it was time to pay, she immediately told me not to worry about a tip, which I thought was so considerate of her. As much as I wanted to give one, as a student with little income, every buck counts!
As far as results go, I have five more sessions to go so I will do an update when I’m done with before and after pictures.
— Second Chemical Peel —
Today I had my second chemical peel, exactly two weeks after I had my first. I thought I would be peeling during the period from my first chemical peel to my second, but I actually didn’t peel at all. During this period I also didn’t experience any new breakouts and my skin feels a lot smoother. As for the hyper– pigmentation, I haven’t noticed a big difference as I’ve only had one session.
During today’s session, I had the same relaxing, soothing experience as last time. Margarita is a doll! She made sure my experience was relaxing. I was offered tea upon coming in for my appointment and after the peel she applied a calming mask on my face, and she propped up the bed into a sitting position so I could drink my tea while I had the mask on my face. Even the application of the chemical peel itself didn’t sting as much as the first time (as my skin had gotten used to it) and it stayed on for one minute longer (from four minutes to five minutes).
After my second session session, my skin feels soft, looks smooth, with no redness. I can immediately notice that my skin does look a lot brighter and my hyper-​pigmentation seems to be a bit lighter! When I write my update for my third chemical peel, I will also update on how my skin looks two weeks after my second chemical peel.
My only complaint I have to write about this time is those annoying sales people downstairs. When they stopped me I immediately off the bat said I’m not going to buy anything and they said that was ok and would give me some samples. After this guy’s whole sales speech and telling me about their current promotion, he seemed disappointed that I still said I didn’t want to buy anything. I explained to him that I am a full time student and his «affordable» offer was not in my budget. As lovely and charming as he was, I just found it annoying for him to continuously try to persuade me to buy this product. Needless to say I never got any samples to try out. Next time I feel like I should just bring some big sun glasses so they won’t make eye contact with me and have my earphones in so I can’t hear them lol.
I have four more chemical peels to go so I will continue updating my progress!
— Third — Sixth Chemical Peels —
So far I am extremely satisfied with how my face is looking and have high hopes that it will look fantastic by my last session. Not much to report otherwise.
UPDATE: my face is A LOT clearer from when I first went in until now! I could do with more sessions as it is not totally scar free, but there has been a huge improvement. For my last two sessions I had a new specialist work on me, Deborah. She’s extremely friendly, informative and gave me a mini massage:) I love all the staff here and will come again in the future!
