one of the better locations in and around Toronto, great place to get a cup of coffee and a pastry, the staff are great, and the inside is very aromatic on the nose. my only complaints about this location is the lack of parking, and the physical size of inside the establishment is tiny! if you got time and its not too busy, grab a strong cup of coffee and mellow out.

Was so happy to find a place like this in my hood. Delicious shrimp patties, custard tarts for only $ 1.25 and an assortment of fresh bread all at reasonable prices. Their hours are insane. Think they’re open from early morning to 10pm 7 days a week! I can’t tell you how much of a benefit this is! I will definitely be a regular here. Just wish they had more savoury options. Lots of sweets though!

Caldense Bakery is my go-​to spot for Portugese custard tarts!
I haven’t been to this location before and I really liked that there were a few parking spots besides the bakery. This location is midsized with lots of indoor and outdoor seating available.
Similar to the other locations, there were lots of tempting goodies, but I always get the tarts.
The tarts have a crispy, flaky, and slightly chewy crust. The custard was dense and creamy and not too sweet. Soooo good!
I also felt like something savoury and I ordered the shrimp patty.
It was super tasty, but greasy and really slick.
Anyways, I’m sure that I will be back for more desserts.
This bakery is a great addition to the area! :)
