This place offers a quality option to do groceries in the Annex 24⁄7.
I also find that their produce seems to generally be of higher quality when compared to the produce sold at the Metro down the block.
While I do continue to shop at this location I did have one unfortunate experience. I purchased a package of tarts and when I got home, despite the best before date being a week away, the tarts had gone back. I learned this by biting into one of the tarts. First the store owner argued with me and then decided he would only refund part of what I paid as I was only returning five of the six tarts I had purchased. This seemed a little ridiculous to me.

I don’t live in the Annex anymore, but when I am in the ol’ hood I know I can find most any vegetable I need at Bloor Superfresh. The selection is much better than the grocery stores and fruit stand in the neighbourhood. The dry goods are kind of wild for a store of its size. I found my favourite hard-​to-​find olive oil at Bloor Superfresh! Crazy. I went in the other day for the makings of a hearty winter soup and was able to get every ingredient right down to the black kale. Way to go Bloor Superfresh.

i find it’s hit or miss. it’s great that they’re open 24 hours but it never feels clean. in the spring and summer there were a lot of fruit flies. also, the people are generally unfriendly. i realize they don’t have to be my best friend but if ask «how are you?», a response would be nice. they have some stuff you can’t find at other stores but if i can i’ll avoid it. and i’ve had trouble with my debit care there.

Annex is so lucky to have a 24⁄7 grocery store like Bloor Superfresh!
Though there is a Metro just couple of minutes away but the product brands they are carrying are quite different from what Bloor Superfresh carries!
Prices wise they are quite comparable but of course bigger grocery stores does have specials all the time!
All the veggies here are fresh and nicely displayed.
So if you have some cravings for health/​organic food in the middle of the night or in fact anytime, Bloor Superfresh is the place to be!

This place is pretty awesome. Great variety of fruit & veg with a good selection of local Ontario products. They also have a lot of organic and health food brands at prices lower than the specialty health food shops.
In summer they have great flowers & plants available (displayed outside).
Superfresh is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and open on all holidays. It’s a great place to pick up essential groceries on a holiday when the local Metro and other big grocery stores are closed.
