My experience at the store was great — the selection wasn’t as good as say a chain store like Noah’s, but it does the job. I found everything i needed, and the woman at the counter was genuinely nice. Pricing wasn’t bad, I definitely did not over pay — I’d say Noah’s charges a premium for the same items. Overall, pleasant shopping experience, great location and I’d come again.

You know what, this store may not have the best selection, but I find the staff warm and friendly and the interior cozy, not crowded. The prices aren’t the lowest overall but there are frequent specials to be had. And with all due respect to the previous reviewer, when I had some questions about aromatherapy and essential oils they were answered, but no product at all was pushed on me. This place has a moderate amount of supplements and a charming selection of teas, organic sugars, grains and other groceries. There may be better stores but if you’re in the area I would say give it a try.

Oh-kay. So I feel bad for giving what is obviously a small business, run by maybe one or two people, one star. It’s hard to run a business, and it’s hard to be everything for one business — I get it. And I want to help out small businesses in this economy of the massive corporation. But I *hate* when people try to upsell me. I went in a few weeks ago looking for one or two *very* specific things. I found a bunch of them, and then asked the woman at the counter about what type of moisturizer she would recommend(because I was looking for something new). She responded by asking me how I wash my face. I told her, and she proceeded to try to sell me a makeup remover and a facial cleanser. Are you kidding me? After 10 minutes of her babbling, I once again asked about a moisturizer. She showed me a few, walked away for a few seconds. I had only literally 60 seconds of silence to ponder the difference between each product before she asked me if I was taking any multivitamins. I told her I prefer to get my vitamins from the foods I eat(I recently had a blood test and all my vitamin levels are badass, thank you very much), and she tried to sell me this spiel about how the best way to get vitamins is through a multivitamin. That’s when I stopped responding. If it wasn’t a late night and if there wasn’t nothing else open and if I really didn’t need a moisturizer I would have just dropped everything and walked out. I won’t be going back. SERIOUSLY. Don’t fucking upsell me. I thought that was like rule #1 of marketing?
