Came here to test drive few Chevy’s after getting positive feedback from a friend. Salesman (Daniel) was very knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and friendly. I ended up test driving 3 cars: Cruze, Malibu, and Cadillac. Smooth, quiet rides.

I have owned a Buick LaCrosse CXL from Roy Foss for 4 years. I need to buy new tires for my car now and found they cheated me considerably on the original purchase. I was supposed to have 18 or 19 inch v rated tires and rim. I have 17 inch h rated tires. I didn’t know about the tire switch because I never checked them before I needed to replace them.
I am having a hard time finding tires to fit this car now, since these are rarely used or old models and it’s not what I paid for.
I had terrible service from them during the life of my car so far and would never go back there.

SCAM! The service department is a HUGE scam!
I’ve been getting my oil changed here for years because I trusted them. When the temperature gauge started flashing after a month of getting my oil changed I went in to speak with a manager. I believe his name was Adam. He started to tell me my coolant was leaking because he could smell it.
Then he asked me to call VW to see if my warranty was still valid. I said I would go to VW, but he insisted I stay at Royfoss and call. I know he said this because if my warranty was expired I could just pay the $ 100+ fee per hour to have their mechanics «fix» it. I had to keep saying that they were busy, so I could leave. I knew Adam was taking advantage of me because he thinks just because I’m a woman I don’t know much about cars.
I went to a mechanic my dad knows and they told me that my coolant was NOT leaking, and it was the engine oil. Therefore Adam LIED about a coolant leak. Royfoss also puts JUST enough coolant and engine oil, so you have no choice but to keep getting your oil changed. I’m told you’re only supposed to get your oil changed once a year, but since Royfoss only puts just enough oil I have to go twice a year.
I also tell the receptionist beforehand that I need synthetic oil because I have a VW. There have been numerous times I’ve been waiting 2 hours because they forget to buy some and I have to wait for them to buy it and then change my oil. I guess no one made the memo even though I’ve told them this many times before I come in.
If you want to go to an honest place, I highly recommend Sum Kim Auto Service (134 Doncaster Road, Thornhill). They didn’t charge me for checking for the engine oil leak, and didn’t charge me for a follow up appointment to see if they engine oil was still leaking. They also reattached my inner door seals for FREE! Sum Kim Auto Service doesn’t care about the money. They care about their customers, the cars they repair and having customers for life.
I’m never going to Royfoss again for anything.

If you go to RoyFoss GM, I recommend that you do your homework before hand. These guys do not do honest business. Print the flyers from the internet– YOU WILL NEED THEM!
I was there last weekend looking at a car and Daniel, my sales guy, refused to acknowledge the advertised deals on the GM website.
He even tried to quote me a significantly higher lease rate than the one advertised on the site. Even when I mentioned he was giving me conflicting information, he attempted to draw complicated diagrams and talk in circles, as if I would just blindly agree with him. Very shady.
Some of the people there were friendly, like Costa, and the girl I spoke to on the phone, but my experience with Daniel really left a bad taste in my mouth about this dealership.
BUYER BEWARE!

I would avoid this place like the plague. Regardless of the fact that it was a huge mistake buying a GM vehicle to begin with, the service here is atrocious (when you get it). I have never had the type of negative experience with any company as I have with Roy Foss. From refusing service to bigger problems coming out of the dealership than going in, to being accused of trying to defraud them I have heard it all. My last time in they refused to replace wheel lugs there technicians forgot to put on my car, they left the battery terminal barely touching the leads so when I went over a bump lost all power to my car, they refused me service on brand new brakes that were faulty, then berated me when I expressed my displeasure. There staff, (save for a few gems) are often unruly and trained to get you out of there as soon as possible with no concern for you or your vehicle. As a customer you will feel wrong and insignificant and be told as much. I strongly recommend seeing through the shiny new exterior and avoiding this overpriced, under qualified operation at all costs! I would award this establishment negative stars if that was an option.
