Very good food. Tasty and good quantity. Went for dinner, definitely will go for lunch. This is a small place, but the interior is well organised. Service was quick and the lady there was very friendly. I’d definitely go back there. My five stars are entirely for there food though. Lots of flavor. Tom Yam soup is really delicious. And the price is reasonable.

Craving Thai food? Don’t wanna get out of surrey? Feeling a little adventurous? Why not go to Thai by Thai, an excellent spot for thai cuisine in the shadiest most sketchiest area of surrey where vagabonds patrol aimlessly and things get a bit funky. This restaurant is never that busy, everytime i come in we were the only ones dining in the restaurant, not sure if it was just the timing. It’s weird because this place offers the best Thai food i’ve had so far in surrey, but it’s not like there’s fierce competition in the area, although Sabai and Sandar are also pretty great. Red and panang curry are out of this world, so creamy, so spicy, so tasty. You’ll be slurping til the last drop of curry, it’s that delicious. Pad thai was great, not ketchuppy nor greasy. The noodles are stir-fried and don’t have that weird taste and texture when they’re slathered with sauce. Basil eggplant with chicken was awesome. This restaurant does wonders with the spices and herbs. Only one person waiting tables everytime i was there. They’re sweet and genuine. Abundant parking in front. Seriously, abundant. And you’re in luck if the owner’s doing the cooking. The woman is brilliant with her cooking, the food is just on point.

Great value for lunch — $ 8.50.lunch combo comes with the soup of the day, spring roll, salad and rice. I’ve had the Tom Yum Soup, Green Curry chicken, Pad Thai — all were fantastic. You can customize the level of spiciness you want,. I asked for medium, and the curry and Pad Thai weren’t very spicy .,. but It was definitely noticed in the Tom Yum! Note that they are open for lunch and dinner, but closed in between from 3 – 5:30 pm. Great service all the times I’ve been there as well.

The restaurant is great, people around need to understand how amazing the quality of food here is! Lunch specials here are #1, what you can get for under $ 10 is a lot actually. Just like their other location on Scot Road the chefs here are skilled in what they do and the menu no matter what is full of flavor and authenticity. *the area is certainly not glamorous but there’s nothing we can do to change that and I’ve never felt unsafe here… maybe at midnight but this Resto isn’t open that late so don’t make excuses not to eat here it’s some of the best Thai food around.

In a bit of a sketchy area but the restaurant is a bit larger with the same good food and good service. My only complaint is that they don’t have khao soi on the menu at this location

Newly opened location of local Thai restaurant.(They have another location on Scott Road in Delta). I drove by about 7PM on Saturday night. Big signs entice with mention of an $ 8.50LUNCH special. I know that it was dinner time but I expected SOME sort of dinner combination. Instead I had to do the usual single person thing of selecting one dish and some rice and hoping that I wasn’t disappointed. I was the sole diner in the place. The manager /waitress brought menu and I mentioned that I have been to Thailand and enjoy spicy food. Then she forgot about me for about 5 minutes until returning for my order. I ordered an mentioned that I have travelled in Thailand. I ordered medium spicy. The food was good though barely Taco Bell spicy(in other words ‘not much’). Nobody asked me if I wanted appetizers or desert or a drink. After dropping off the order the waitress retreated to the back. After staring at my empty plate for a few minutes I sought her out — she was writing text messages — and I paid the bill. I did not tip.
