It’s ok! The food was not fresh I believe it was over left from the day before !!! Waiter was friendly though !

Out of the many Thai restaurants I have visited recently, this one satisfies my Thai cravings by far more than others. The price is not on the cheap end but it’s not too expensive either. Lunch combo comes with soup/salad and a(DELICIOUS) spring roll + main dish for $ 10 after tax before tips. The portion is just about right for my taste. But the reason why I give a full-star review is mainly for the friendly service. It’s probably a family-owned business, with the husband at the counter and the wife in the kitchen.(I assume.) I have came in past their business hours(for about 2 – 3 minutes) for two or three times, but the owner kindly let me in and accepted my orders. They also make their efforts to get to know you. Sincerely kind people! Also, their Thai iced tea is really the best thing ever — if you like your iced tea a little on the sweet side & with cream. Give this place a try!

This little unassuming hole in the wall delivers a very satisfying dining experience. Although it was a quiet place with not many diners there was a steady stream of people coming to pick up take out. My wife and I share very tasty spring rolls for appies and the dived into chickens with cashew nut, red prawn curry with rice. The positions were nice and the food was very fresh and flavourful.

Love! love! love! this Thai restaurant! We’ve been going here for a couple years and it’s by far become our favourite! We eat there or take out regulary. We should probably try some new dishes but we love the Cashew Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai so much that we just have to have them. The food is hot, the combination of flavours in is absolutely delicious and the service is always prompt and polite. It’sa family run business and it’s obvious that they take pride in the quality of food and service. Highly recommended!

We have eaten here on 3 occasions. And it has consistently failed to impress. High prices for small portions. Tonight’s attempt included take out containers half empty. The Tom yum soup was broth with mushrooms. No other vegetables. And flakes of lemon grass. Pad see Lew had cauliflower which looked like it had gone to seed and past its prime included. While we have given this restaurant more than its fair share of opportunities based on other review, we will not return again.

Love the place. We been searching for a Thai restaurant since our trip into Canada. We have gone to two others which were so horrible we almost gave up on Thai. This place is comparable to our Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. The Tom Yom was delicious. The Drunken Noodles was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice. The owner and his wife were very friendly and hospitable.

Sanndar’s is pretty consistent which is important since a lot of places tend to go downhill after time. The portions vs. the price is a little small but each dish is high on flavour. We normally get the Tom Yum Soup with either chicken or shrimp and the cashew chicken, pad thai and either the green beans or the egg plant. The green beans are a slightly better choice. It’s a pretty small restaurant and is never full when we go so the service is very good. No complaints here. I’m sure we’ll be back when we are craving Thai.

Great lunch specials. The soup that comes with the lunch special has amazing flavour. I love to get their cashew chicken, extra spicy. The service is very polite.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and it’s probably the best value for money I know of. $ 11 gets you soup/salad, spring roll, and your main dish. My personal favourite is the basil chicken. Although among my co-worker the pad thai is where it’s at.

This place is yummy! A bit expensive but all made by the mom(it’s a family run biz). Very fresh and very friendly family. We’ll go here again for sure! If my teens like it, anyone will like it! LOL!

What a nice find all the way here – and surprisingly not cheap either, $ 11.99 for Pad Thai, but guess what, it’s actually pretty good for taste & size. Authentically-owned, about a 30-seat restaurant with good service. Owner also recommended the cashew with chicken as he said it’s a popular item but thought I can get that anytime at a chinese resto lol(well, i didn’t say that to him). Nice décor too but why do they all look the same? Well, this one is a bit more gold/tan themed. Definitely a place to be proud to bring family or a date – but not for a bad friend haha. Located inside another big plaza with other Indian businesses, so it’s a nice surprise alright. free parking.
