Went there on New Years Day with a group of friends. It was slightly slower than usual, however the service was even slower. The food itself was subpar, the waitress messed up our simple drink orders and to top it off the restaurant didn’t tell us they were charging a holiday rate for the food so dinner was an extra ten dollars a person. I’m sure there is better sushi in Hamilton, do yourself a favour and find it.

Love this place! Fresh, fast, easy. I come here for lunch often. I love the iPads. It makes ordering very easy. The staff is always friendly. The food is always top notch! It always takes a while to get the bill, which is a bit annoying, so I would recommend to anyone in a hurry to ask for the bill extra early.

I’ve been to this location quite a few times and I highly recommend it to those that want a nice experience. The atmosphere is calming and the staff are very friendly. Now for the food review. Since I usually visit at dinner hours, I find that they have quite a wide range of selections in terms of AYCE. Their many rolls range in flavour from deep and rich to light and refreshing. Personally, I also love ordering their spicy beef udon; the spiciness and saltiness are, in my opinion, perfectly harmonized. I also enjoy the galbi quite a bit. Whatever they use to marinate or flavour that meat is amazing!

Went to this location when they opened, food were below average(Although the Har Gow was good), services were subpar. The menu items are limited, and not to mention they still require a waiter to place an order for you(not with ipads like other AYCE… maybe they upgraded now but at the time I ate there they didn’t have the ‘technology’) Charges around the same price with places like Spring & Sapparo. So if you are looking for good sushi, goto those two places instead. If you want mediocre sushi and a selection of chinese food then put this place on your list. The worst part of this restaurant is they charge you for green tea… cmon now…

Went on a Friday night a few weeks back at about 8pm for a bite before a show. Busy place so had to wait about 45 min which without a reservation is really only my fault. But what happend in that 45 mins made my partner and I never what to return. I just can’t understand why the ATM had to be changed at such a busy time and no less by two guys that couldn’t have looked more suspicious. After the machine had been emptied and stocked the one guy left while the other stayed and proceed to intimidate whom ever had watched the transaction go down.

It’s good! Like other August 8’s. Read about that on other member’s posts. But their service needs some improvement. 1. Have someone at the front desk… waited 5+ minutes before being greeted. 2. On every order, they forgot at least one item. No big deal, since it’s all you can eat, but still a bit annoying. I’d go back. I think they are still relatively a new location, and maybe kinks need working out. I will re-review on my repeat visit.

Went here with a large group of friends for a birthday over the weekend. It seems to be a great spot for big parties — there was lots of space to accommodate us and the service was fairly fast. The décor was also really nice and gave it a more upscale feel compared to other sushi restaurants. Everything we ordered was good, although the all you can eat menu was lacking in selection. For $ 25 per person, I would have liked a better variety of rolls and sushi to order from.
